Restaurant was quiet and we were seated quickly. The gal was sweet and patient since it was our first time and not from the area. My daughter got a kids plate and man it was as big as mine! Big portions for kids order I did a 2 item meal with the quesadilla and enchiladas. Rice was ok, beans were pretty decent. I wish I would have asked how the enchiladas were made because personally I don't like gravy but the flavor of it was good tho. But the smoked chicken was DELICIOUS! There's no mistake they take their time smoking their meats! The meat was season wonderfully and the Smokiness was on point! This place is definitely out of the way for me as I live about 45- 1hr away but if I'm ever in the area I will be stopping by for some Smoked chicken! Keep up with those authentic flavors!

male patron #1 was harassing the female bartender taking pictures of her. She even covered the camera and he continued to attempt to photograph her. He repeatedly asked to do body shots off her when she sternly said no multiple times. HE FOLLOWED HER TO BATHROOM!!! This behavior is not okay, even if intoxicated. male patron #2 who kept repeating "Were friends with the owner" and "you act like we won't be back tomorrow", got upset some patrons were telling #1 to stop harassing her. #2 stated "it comes with the territory. Bartenders sign up to deal with drunk abusive men. It's their job." #2 made some patrons move seats because he got upset they told #1 to stop being disrespectful. Very disappointed that the bartender was so upset and the male patrons who are friends with the owner wouldn't leave. Seems to be like an ongoing thing. #1 has a daughter the same age as the bartender. When asked if he would like someone doing that to his daughter he said "my daughter would never be a bartender". The owner needs to find friends who don't use the bar as a perv playground who don't respect the bartenders in any form. I'm very uncomfortable and scared of the "regulars" at this bar. There is no form of safety or boundaries for the bartenders... and apparently infrequent patrons. read more

I was sad though when it closed as there aren't many options for nightlife in Galt. I was excited when I heard that this place was opening up, and remained patient. I followed them on IG and was disappointed every time they posted about a delay in opening due to various hang ups with the pandemic, supply change, and city regulations. So, of course, I was there on opening day! Tipsy has a great selection of beers; they don't just stick to one type of beer, instead they make sure they have something for everyone. I loved that the taps are rotating, so there's always something new to try, but also some regulars. The staff is always so nice and friendly. They often have events, and the jukebox is a nice touch as well. I also follow them on Instagram and always see their fun field trips to try new beer, and it makes me jealous cause Im usually at work.
