We went back recently to see if they had another large fern, but unfortunatey their inventory was good, but we didn't find one quite as magnificent. We were so impressed with so many of their healthy looking plants. It is a pleasure to just cruise through their facility.

The first thing I thought was how peaceful it was. The ambiance was very soothing and the people were friendly. They had a great selection of flowers and veggies. There are more veggies at the other location I think but still a nice selection with varieties you won't find at most big box stores. The woman working asked if I needed help and she showed me everything I asked for then checked on me again during my visit. The plants are reasonably priced for the quality. I would highly recommend this store!

The weeds in my front yard were overwhelming and not very attractive, but I was indecisive about what to do. The one thing I DID know was that I wanted something low maintenance and didn't require water. My neighbor suggested that I try landscaping rocks in my front yard. And recommended that I call Macalvey's Nursery because he had a great experience with them as well. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Juan, the manager and his staff and shared my ideas. They gave me a lot of great ideas and showed me different types of gravel and rocks and offered their expertise about how I should handle all the prep work. I would give them 10 stars if I could! So if you're looking for a nice friendly place with good ideas and service and lots of different gravel, rocks, and landscaping options----- THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

I was happy with the company up until it was time for the delivery. There was no option to pick up the sod on my own at my convenience. Then the delivery was scheduled between 6am and 8am on a Saturday morning which was not ideal for my project to begin with but what can you do? To make matters worse, the sod was delivered just after 4am (nearly 2 hours before the delivery window) which woke up probably half the neighborhood including me. I got up to direct the delivery person where to place the sod and noticed the delivery person had already left and made no attempt to make contact with me before dropping the pallet off on the street (public property). Very disappointing!

Wondered into this amazing little boutique/plant shop yesterday. Was out for a little downtown adventure with my little dog so I didn't have much cash on me. This is a charming shop, so many interesting plants . I bought I little pink and gray delicate little thing. I loved that they had little baby plants for a nice price. Babies grow super quik in my house. I tried to return today but Halloween had taken over downtown and as cute as that was, I couldn't find parking. I can't get a few of those plants off my mind. will try again tomorrow . Update, made it back to the busiest little plant shop. Bought 3 plants so healthy and pretty. Bought small plants under $12 divided the satiny Ann in to 2 separate plants. Will love watching these grow. read more

I recently visited this garden center for seasonal plants and was blown away by the selection. The staff provided great advice on which plants would thrive best in the winter months, and their recommendations were spot on. The plants were of the highest quality - vibrant colors and well-maintained. I also found their prices to be very reasonable compared to other centers in the area. The customer service was excellent, and I left with exactly what I needed for a beautiful winter garden. Definitely returning next season! read more
