So this isn't for the barbers but the policy implemented by the owner. I was told that I had to…read morewait for barbers who are under a different pay system and not the clearly open barber during a walk in to get a cut. Makes zero sense, the barber who could have made some extra money and help me not wait an extra 45 mins wasn't allowed to cut my hair even though he is clearly available. I'm assuming this is the owner being selfish. Don't support selfish owners who only care about how much he makes and not how much his employees make nor how long the customers have to wait.

This is your time with careful and steady hands addressing every detail to make you the best you want to be. Each cut comes with a soothing neck shave to make sure you are ready to face the world. I even had a refreshing straightedge shave, removing all that scraggly vacation scruff. Each step was accompanied by a powder, pomade, or shaving creams that had earthy aromatics. I am now ready for the conference room. From classic pompadours to the trendiest styles and masterful mustache and beard trims, they have it in their arsenal. This would be my second time going to Una's Barber shop…read more I was in need of a hair cut real bad and the amazing staff on both occasions were absolutely amazing. Upon arriving at the barber shop particularly Friday. It was a busy day. I was greeted by the receptionist and walked if they accept walk ins, which they do. I really didn't wait long on my first time but my second time I had to wait one hour in half before i got into the chair. I knew waiting would be worth it because the barbers take time to actually make your hair cut look nice. No cookie cutter type of hair cut. The first time I had a male cut my hair (I forgot his name) and the second time was a female. Also (forgot her name). They are wonderful and pretty chill and not awkward at all. They do have appointments if you have a particular barber that you want to cut your hair. But plan ahead. Don't expect to get barber right away if you come in as a walk in. This is the place to go for a nice hair cut. Don't forget to tip they do take time making SURE your hair cut is FRESH

He'll make you into what he calls the "3-D Man: dashing, debonaire, and damn good looking!" His shaves are great, too, when the occasion warrants. Johnny has only one chair, so at times it can get busy, but the wait is always worth it. Call ahead and you'll usually be okay. Other reviews say that his hours are spotty; recently Johnny had a stroke and had to close for a few months while he recovered, but he did leave a note on the door, and honestly I'm impressed that he's still cutting hair at 80+ years of age...he's rock steady, truly a cut above the lower cost barber shops in Provo. To those who are looking for a clean cut, with kind attention to detail, all at a good price, Johnny's is the place to go.
