So this isn't for the barbers but the policy implemented by the owner. I was told that I had to…read morewait for barbers who are under a different pay system and not the clearly open barber during a walk in to get a cut. Makes zero sense, the barber who could have made some extra money and help me not wait an extra 45 mins wasn't allowed to cut my hair even though he is clearly available. I'm assuming this is the owner being selfish. Don't support selfish owners who only care about how much he makes and not how much his employees make nor how long the customers have to wait.

Johnny has only one chair, so at times it can get busy, but the wait is always worth it. Call ahead and you'll usually be okay. Other reviews say that his hours are spotty; recently Johnny had a stroke and had to close for a few months while he recovered, but he did leave a note on the door, and honestly I'm impressed that he's still cutting hair at 80+ years of age...he's rock steady, truly a cut above the lower cost barber shops in Provo.
