Came here about a month ago after suffering a month and a half without a haircut due to COVID-19. The boys clean you up very well here. Clayton gave me an excellent fade and even busted out a professional light to hone in on the meticulous details. The barbers here take pride in their work, have won high level barber contests, and are always making strides in their craft. Definitely hitting this place up next week! read more

This would be my second time going to Una's Barber shop. I was in need of a hair cut real bad and the amazing staff on both occasions were absolutely amazing. Upon arriving at the barber shop particularly Friday. It was a busy day. I was greeted by the receptionist and walked if they accept walk ins, which they do. I really didn't wait long on my first time but my second time I had to wait one hour in half before i got into the chair. I knew waiting would be worth it because the barbers take time to actually make your hair cut look nice. No cookie cutter type of hair cut. The first time I had a male cut my hair (I forgot his name) and the second time was a female. Also (forgot her name). They are wonderful and pretty chill and not awkward at all. They do have appointments if you have a particular barber that you want to cut your hair. But plan ahead. Don't expect to get barber right away if you come in as a walk in. This is the place to go for a nice hair cut. Don't forget to tip they do take time making SURE your hair cut is FRESH read more

Came here during the covid 19 pandemic from California with my son. We both got very fresh and clean cuts and even though we had to wear masks, it was quick and painless. Really liked the guys in the shop and had a great experience over all. Highly recommend. read more

Brilliant cuts, but too damn long of a wait. Receptionist didn't seem bothered and stayed on her phone most of the time. Place is dated and in need of organization and a good clean up. I think we can do better than this. I'd hate for the talent of this store to go to waste because of the upkeep and unprofessionalism. read more

Una's Barber Shop - Good prices and talent, but messy upkeep thats distracting - Barbers Near Me - Orem, Utah

I brought in my elderly father with Alzheimer's last month and was blown away by how much Una cares! My dad is no easy shave and trim; Una is kind and patient and loving. They're super flexible which is something else I love. My dad doesn't care much about schedules and appointments any more. I take him in when he's willing. And Una's (at least first two trips) finds a way to squeeze him in. My dad looks great after the trim and shave! If I had any hair I'd bring myself in every month, but as long as my dad is alive Una's is the place for us! read more

Here's the short and dirty review. 5 Stars - Their cuts are great. Good barbers, good price. I usually go to Rachel, she only works Friday-Saturday, and provides a good cut and good conversation. 3 Stars -- Their wait sucks. But let's be real, good things come to those who wait. The wait sucks bc it's popular and they do a good job. So, be prepared to have some time. They do good cuts. read more

Excellent service. Mo did an amazing job cutting my dad's hair. He loves it & has gotten so many compliments on how nice his hair looks thanks Una's! read more

Growing up in Utah as a person of color can be be very difficult. One of the most difficult parts is all the bad haircuts that you can get going to salons and hairstylists. This isn't to knock salons cause you do what you do. But if you want a tight fade or taper you go to Una's. I got a taper and a shave and it was the best hair cutting experience I've ever had. The staff is friendly, the music is great and still professional, sports talk going on in the background. It's everything that you could ask for with a barber shop. I've been to other barbers but I will definitely be going back to Una's from now on. Thank you Una's for providing such quality service and making sure that even if it takes a bit longer that my haircut is on point and clean. read more

Awesome haircut by David. I go to a barber for a haircut not the building. Awesome business. I found my new barber.

These guys do phenomenal work, BUT DO NOT TRY TO WALK IN. It took 2+ hours just to get seated last time I did that. And I arrived 5 minutes before they opened. Then the haircut takes 45-60 minutes. Make an appointment. Trust me. You will not be disappointed with their work, they are the best I've ever been to. Baylee is my barber of choice and she always make me look good. The services is top notch and unlike all the Sportsclips/Craig Cuts/Fantastic Sam's places, these people KNOW how to cut hair right. I'm a life-long customer. read more

I've gone here a few times and the majority of the barbers are pretty good but this last time was the worst haircut I have gotten. It was from the new guy right behind the receptionist and he messed me up bad. My sides are different lengths and patchy. I asked for a inch off the and in some places he took off probably 2 inches but in others only 1/2. My top is long all around but he raised my side part into the top in the back and so 1/4th of my top is the same length as the sides but the rest of the top is around 4 inches longer; I'll have to restart my hair I've been growing for months because this guy didn't know how to listen. All the other barbers here are great at giving people just what they ask for; might have a long wait time but I would recommend them all except for the new guy behind the receptionist. read more

This place is really good I love getting hair cuts here, they do a quality job. It's an experience for a fair price. My only complaint is that I've been calling for an hour trying to schedule an appointment but no one is answering very frustrating. But these barbers have always done me good so I will never but nothing short of 5 stars. Just really wish they would answer so I can schedule my next appointment. Still no answer in the past 2 hours. This place is good if the receptionist can answer. Sad to say I'll be taking my business elsewhere this time. read more

Una's is the best Barber Shop in Utah. Great vibe and staff. Bruce is my go to but I've also done walk ins with a variety of barbers and have always left happy. Great place if you need a good cut! read more

Don't go to this barber shop if you're black they don't like African Americans. Me and three other co workers went in on an off day, we walked in and sign the paper the front desk attendant was rude. We sat down and waited for more than hour watching as others went before us. Not one barber came and ask if we needed an haircut. They looked at us like we had did something wrong to them. The owner was rude the whole shop was unprofessional read more

Very friendly staff (Bruce). Great price. Best fade I think I've ever had. Highly recommended.

I work 6 days a week 9 am to 4pm and I've gotten off work early twice now to come get my hair cut and have been turned away at 3:50pm because they don't take walk ins an hour before they close which is ridiculous if your hours are in til 5 pm honor it or change your closing hour to 4 pm. read more

This place is a little hole in the wall place but man is it amazing!! The barbers and hairstylists are chill, nice, friendly, and so talented! We came here on a whim (come early on a weekday to avoid the wait or call ahead) and we were so impressed! My boyfriend had tons of long hair and was looking for a high end style and the barber came through! He was so happy! We will definitely be coming back here. read more

My husband and I are visiting Orem from out of state and my husband desperately needed a hair cut and a beard trim. Bailey did an excellent job! His hair and beard have never looked better. Known Una since 2009, everywhere he has gone I have followed. The passion for his craft is obvious by the unmatched skills he possesses. I don't live in Utah anymore, but every time I visit I make sure to make a stop at his incredible self made establishment. The atmosphere is on point with what a barbershop needs to be. Professional, clean, relaxing, and the best quality haircuts. Definitely cares about who he hires. Bruce was my barber, he was on his third day and he gave me the best cut I had in years. Along with amazing service. read more

Ok talk about a great barbershop, Unas is a great small barbershop and Una is fantastic! Great down to earth guy and knows how to do a fade. He takes his time, so it can be kind of a wait but it's totally worth it and the price is worth every penny! Una knew how to handle my requests which was awesome and he didn't get nervous with the requests or knowing how picky I can usually be. For sure, this place knows how to do fades! Suggestion though, call ahead and make an appointment because the wait can be kind of long! read more

Man that boy Kris is a beast with clippers! This barber shop is legit! They added a few new barbers too. Una is a beast too!

Did a walk-in and had to wait for about an hour (which makes sense and was super worth it!) I got a cut from Una and asked for a bald drop fade, it came out amazing! Best fade I've got and I tried a lot of local barbers and Una's Barber Shop is somewhere I will go back to! Definitely somewhere you go to clean up before a special event :D read more

I only come to Una's. Rebecca cuts my hair every time and she does exactly what I want. The barbers here do the best skin fades, tapers, etc. I have found that I get the best haircut when I show a picture of exactly what I want. Rebecca told me it's hard to do a haircut when you show a picture and say, "I want it like this, BUT change this and that." Just show a picture of what you want and you get the best result. read more

I have found a hard time finding a good barber in Utah county, then I found Una's. They are amazing and so talented. They know how to fade and do designs also. I won't take my son anywhere else. read more

TREAT-YO-SELF! I haven't shaved my beard in over five years and I needed to complete an assignment on Self and Perception for school. I figured I would lose the beard, and treat my self while I was at it. I already miss the beard, but it was worth the experience. I have never had a hot towel shave done before, and always wanted the experience. Bruce was the man to entrust with my face and a straight blade. He took great care of me. It was a relaxing and refreshing experience. All I could hope for. I would give it five stars, but being my first hot towel shave, I had nothing to compare to. Last of all, I did some looking around before and found Una's Barber Shop to be the most available to set up an appointment. I made the appointment just hours before. They are also ready to handle walk-ins. Which I think is great for just bringing in and servicing the people. I thought the price was reasonable, too. All in all, my first experience was well worth it. Thanks Bruce and Una's Barber Shop. read more
