Jim has been in demand for keeping our bikes on the road for over 50 years, I know were lucky to have him all this time. I make no demands or attempt to know what he knows. I am loyal and respectful of Jims operation and getting inline in the waiting room is no big deal, because I know I will get my bike back smiling and ready for the road. Just like a good doctor in a "MASH unit" he will and can prioritize treatment for a successful outcome. Thanks Jim

Short answer Jim knows what he is doing on older ATV's. To address other reviews about him being grumpy, I agree he can be. When I originally tried to bring a vehicle in for repair he seemed to be a pain in the ass with no time to give me, that said he was extremely busy. He made me an appointment day two months out, and said come back and we will talk. When I returned he was super cool, and took care of couple of additional things for no charge and repaired my quad fast, and for $600 less the PCP Yamaha wanted, were the quad was original purchased. Bottom line it's just him working in a really small shop, but he knows how to work on bikes and quads. He has a customer for as long as he is in business from us. Thanks Jim for getting the kids quad fixed up, I was ready to throw it away before you made it new again.

Their parts department is OK, Can't say much about sales since I don't buy from them and they overpriced tags And their Service department is Overpriced, Slow, and Unreliable. I brought my Ninja here to get the tires replaced since I had a blown tire from a long ride, and while I was there I was going to get it tuned up with an Valve inspection, Oil Change, Air filter & Spark Plugs. I towed my bike there with the blown tire and had no issues with my bike starting or idling, I walked the bike with the engine on since it was easier than to push it in gear. Left the bike there and was scheduled to be worked on 2 weeks later, Called for an update after the 3rd week and still had not been looked at. After the 4th week they called me asking if they can install aftermarket Spark plugs since they couldn't get OEM. I gave the go ahead and a day later they called again saying my bike would not start with my Power commander installed, and could not release my bike without it in running condition. They removed my Dynojet and blamed it on my Tune that the bike could not stay idle without cutting out. When I went to pick it up I was not happy, all I wanted was the tires replaced with a tune up. They also Mentioned that they cannot work an any vehicle that is modified. I received my Bike in working condition with my parts removed and was charged just over $1500 For tires and a tune up. I went to a little known Speed shop in Modesto and got my Dynojet reinstated and retuned. Asked for an invoice for the installation cost and asked SHY to reimburse me the $100 installation cost. The GM denied it and said it was because my tune was faulty. Bike was not faulty when I delivered it, they did do any due diligence before service. They don't test if the Engine runs before they start working on it. If you go here for their service department all they can do right is a tire change The owner has 3 locations in Stockton and I will no longer be a customer at any. They saved $100 and for the thousands I spend there every year for maintenance and parts.

Mixed Experience - Excellent Purchase, Terrible Consignment Service…read moreThe Good - MT-09 Purchase: I purchased an MT-09 from Superbike Showroom and had an amazing experience. Shawn Owens was fantastic - the bike was exactly as described and the entire purchase process was smooth and professional. The Bad - Indian Scout Sixty Consignment Sale: However, selling my 2024 Indian Scout Sixty through them has been an absolute nightmare. Here's the timeline of just trying to get my check: PAYMENT TIMELINE (49+ days and counting): October 3: Victoria confirms check (approximately $2,500) will be sent once title received October 27: I follow up after 24 days of silence October 30: Told check will be prepared "tomorrow" and mailed October 30: Provided my mailing address November 14: Still no check received - requested tracking number (15 days after supposed mailing) November 14: Forwarded to Victoria for Monday follow-up November 18: STILL no check, no tracking, no response from Victoria Major Issues: No tracking number provided despite multiple requests 18+ days since check was allegedly mailed - still haven't received it Poor communication - Victoria never followed up as promised Time-sensitive - I'm leaving the country next week with no resolution Communication delays on other issues: While I understand the odometer discrepancy was ultimately a DMV issue (which can be ignored), it took weeks of back-and-forth just to get clarity on something I flagged back in August - another example of the ongoing pattern of poor communication Bottom Line: Great at selling bikes, terrible at follow-through on consignment sales. If you're buying, you'll probably have a good experience. If you're selling through them, be prepared to chase them for weeks to get your money. Nearly 2 months later, I still don't have my payment and am being sent in circles. Would I recommend? Buy from them - yes. Sell through them - absolutely not.
