I'd heard that the perch is the thing to get, so I ordered the Panko Breaded Perch Dinner ("Hand-dipped in panko breadcrumbs and fried to perfection. Served with house made coleslaw and French Fries"). It arrived quite a while later and it's fine. The perch had obviously been sitting around a while, as it wasn't hot and kind of soggy. It's also weird that they're such small pieces, given the cost of the platter. But the fries were good, at least. It's obvious that the main draw at The Beach House is the ambiance and the view of the water. And yeah, that view was pretty great.

They offered us the high table with bar stools but I wasn't comfortable taking it because our party of eight included my nephew who uses a booster seat and my mother, aunt and uncle who are all seniors and would be uncomfortable spending an hour on bar stools. It's just a quick exit off I-90 and practically on the lake -- super convenient whether you're heading to Niagara Falls or traveling back toward Pennsylvania or Ohio. They source as locally as possible, with their perch and other fresh fish coming straight from the fish market across the street.
