Not sure if this place changed ownership since previous reviews or post but I tell you we will never return to this location EVER....and I plan to let as many know what we experienced as possible, after a fantastic day of zip lining 4 of us 2 from Toronto 2 from Orangeville decide to grab a bite to eat after our day and happened upon this location. Walked in asked may we sit on patio yes was the answer and handed 4 menus and escorted ourselves to the patio, after 20 minutes of reading menu's and asking customers do we go in and order or does she come out, she finally appears, takes our drink and food order, 15 minutes later our drinks arrive, 30 minutes still no food and 1 plate was veterinarian, waitress was asked is it going to be much longer reply he is cooking it, no sorry no nothing, he is cooking it now we had a large take out order before your order, in the meantime others have arrived and left due to lack of service, when we hit the 35 minute mark 2 plates of food arrived, 2 still lost in the kitchen somewhere again one being the vegetarian plate, 45 minutes hit still no food, our guest went inside the restaurant to cancelled their order and agreed to pay for the 2 beers and 1 soda they did receive, when they returned to the table out came what we amuse was the owner wife (who was absent from the business) stating...no apologizes, not sorry, no offer of solution, nothing but the statement and clapping her hands "You still have to pay for the food because it was ordered and it was in the window (hmmm which she forgot to bring out with her to address the customer) and if payment was not made the police were going to be called for thief, we requested that the call be made, sat 20 minutes waitress came out to serve someone we asked if the police were coming she said she would ask, 10 minutes out she comes with food in a plastic bag and a bill slapping it down stating here is your food if you do not pay we will call the police and we have you plate numbers.....we left the table proceeded through the restaurant (only way to enter and exit) to get to the outside and to also make sure payment was made for the soda and beers that were in fact served they did not want to take that money but cash was left on the counter and further explanation of the food and service they did not receive and outcome who we think was the owner, when the guest complained that they were called thief and the service sucked the words escalated to a point a customer got up from his table addressed the owner to inform him he had 3 kids with them..the owner continues the battle of words (in front of his young son and customers) ,....we all head for the door words and spit still being exchanged, where it continues outside and we were told by the OWNER what for 20 bucks you want to be treated like a King, go back to Toronto and smell the smog, eat with the Chinks, Asians, and Muslims (his words not ours),calling the male party a "GOOF"..allowing customers/ friends of his to get involved, when they were instructed to mind their business go inside their response to the lady of our group was to call her the C word, this is a short version of what he business/owner had to say. I would use personal name but when we asked who they were we were told by the assumed wife I am me and the cook assume owner stated never mind who the"F" I am...at this point where we are not leaving we called the police ourselves as original call was not made nor would they supply their address, thank goodness for cell phones with internet abilities and waited where 3 OPP cars showed up to take care of a ignorant restaurant owner who did not know what and how the service was , and stupid enough to think because it gives no time frame of food delivery on their menu, that if you receive bad service after you place an order that you must pay for the food even if you do not receive it, cancelled it or disliked it!!!! So you have no right to complain because it is not in the fine print of their menu. What kind of business practice is this... I guess they need to add clauses to their menu also add if you did not like our food complain but you still pay....We arrived there on a Sunday was not busy this was no excuse for the staff to the owner's behavior, he is a racist pig and cooked in sandals, they need to retrain staff and themselves to at least be attentive to paying customers, common sense of ethical behavior as well as some parenting skills, so they at least have customers instead of them walking out!! NEVER EVER will we return and promise we will let everyone know included the races that you spoke so rudely about but would take their money if they seat at your table(s) or bar that I am sure of!!!!!
