The last few times I've tried to eat here it has not been a great experience. They're either out of everything on the menu or closing down their kitchen extremely early. We showed up at 8:15 which is 45 minutes before they close, and we were told their grills were off for the night. I'm not sure if that's normal protocol, but it seemed ridiculous. read more

When we walked in, they had BIG samples. Almost a whole slice of this bread. I'm full and I haven't even got my food yet. That always puts me in a good mood. It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Food came quick. Food was great read more

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe - Crack Chicken Sandwich - Bakeries Near Me - St George, Utah

Used to love Kneaders. Today's visit was absolutely awful. The restaurant is filthy. The amount of food and debris on the floor alone should be enough to deter anyone from wanting to eat here. The bathroom was even worse! I've never seen a toilet this dirty except for maybe a gas station restroom in the middle of nowhere USA. The employees at this understaffed restaurant seemed to be trying as hard as they could to serve the customers. They were very apologetic. After ordering and paying, i really wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. read more

This was my turkey sandwich today. What a disappointment ground meat, with no flavor. Not sandwich meat quality. My husband got a club sandwich, turkey meat served the same way! The store needs some adult supervision who care about the quality of service and food being served. read more

Bread was dry and turkey was in shreds on sandwich. Very disappointed. Do not recommend. read more

I love this location! Clean, casual and peaceful place to get together over good food. Kneaders is my favorite spot for a quick bite with girlfriends. Such a welcoming and friendly staff! HUGE thanks to Kalie for her kindness and hospitality throughout our brunch visit! The food here was delicious and one of the best croissants I've ever had! Me and my Grandma ,Kathy Jones, and I ordered the bacon, egg, cheese croissant! We had the best service I've ever had from our server Leah! She was so sweet and special and when we entered we felt instantly happy! Leah was so personable and sweet and had such a sweet soul and spirit. She was so sweet to give us 2 free raspberry tarts for us to try and so I gave her a $20 tip and she was so grateful. It was such a sweet moment and I will never forget it! We love you Leah! -Evan and Kathy read more

Ordered a turkey bacon avacodo sandwich to go online and when we got home we found out there was no Turkey just bacon, avacoado and lettuce and onion. Called and only got the refunded the price of the sandwich no tax or anything for our trouble. That's why I don't recommend Kneaders! read more

As a California native who visits St. George often, the food at this Kneaders feels like home every time! Whether you're sitting in or taking out, the service is always with a smile and everyone is so kind. Stella and Payton have become our favorites as they took care of us most of the time but the rest of the staff are also very kind and give great customer service! The Tuna Sandwich, Tomato Soup, and any pastries are always my go-to's but the grilled cheese and salads are also great, alongside the delicious smoothies and coffees they have to offer. It's definitely a great place to sit and read or work while you're having your food and drink as it's a peaceful place with a lovely view and relaxing atmosphere. Will be back as much as possible in the future! Great job cultivating a great cafe and staff and friendly & welcoming environment! read more

Food is good, people are nice but a bit slow. Hope they pick it up a bit. we like this brand.

I love Kneaders Bread. I stopped going to this location for many reasons until just recently. They must have a new manager. One of their newest employees changed everything for me. Amber Bills is a shining star in this company. I'll keep coming back as long as she's there. We missed this stuff. read more

Today we went to have an afternoon breakfast. We ordered the All day French Toast. We were served very old, dry and cold French Toast. It was at least an hour or more old and had been kept in a warmer, but was barely warm at all and the edges were so hard we had to throw them away. We couldn't even cut them. read more

Came at 4:00. Out of chicken salad for a poor customer who ordered ahead. Got our order. Food was fine as always. We are from Las Vegas and our Craig RS Kneaders is always clean. This Kneaders not so much. Wiped down our table as all were crummy-floors looked like a hurricane hit. But the over flowing trash....ridiculous. This store was not busy Maybe they were under staffed but no matter it was not clean!!!! I'm a positive helper and always try to find the good. Kneaders is a fav. Twice now I've gone to kneaders near their posted closing hours only to discover they were actually closed. This time I arrived 23 minutes after 9, with their posted hours as 10, both open signs turned on and their lights on and doors open only be kicked out because apparently they closed at 9. Let me repeat - 23 minutes after they supposedly closed, and 47 minutes before their posted closing, two open signs on, all the lights on, doors unlocked, and they kicked me out?! read more

The wait is always ridiculous. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever. There is always something left off or screwed up in the order. I used to really like the food there but this location is a waste of time. After I stay away for extended periods of time, I give them another chance and every time I am reminded why I stopped going. I for sure will never be back after today. I sat at the speaker in the drivethru for 5 minutes before I had to say "hello...?" Then they took my order. I would have left before that but there were cars in front of me and one behind me. My bread on my sandwich is under cooked, I waited 35 mins in the drive thru (I was 3rd in line) and my bag was sitting by the window for at least 20 of those. I watched the girl at the window walk by and look at my bag a dozen times until she finally handed it to me. Only had 1 food item that I ordered so they weren't waiting on anything else to get added to the bag. They were not slammed busy at all. She also left off my drink but I didn't realize I already left unfortunately. Don't waste your time here. They're awful read more

I get that it's hard to find and keep good employees so I won't go too hard on the guy that took our order when he yawned instead of greeting us. He obviously was a new hire and not trained. We didn't get everything that we ordered and paid for, then when we told the person that brought the food to our table, he went back behind the counter and proceeded to do other things. He totally ignored us and didn't bring us our other bowl of soup. Food was meh, soup was totally bland and room temp. Dining room was dirty. I'm not sure how this place stays in business. It used to be good but it hasn't been since 2020. read more

Their chunky French toast, all you can eat?! Erma gawd...one serving was plenty. Even my husband thought he could polish off 10 of them...ha ha yup one and done. Ordered catering for the morning of our teams game, 2 days prior. Will never order from this location again. They are so slow and our food wasn't delivered till 50 minutes after it was supposed to be. The food was great but they forgot to add the omelette I ordered for our Gluten free player. Had to run and grab something else for her. Not a good experience at all. read more

A small group of us ate here for lunch. I have typically liked Kneaders. But today my husband and I each ordered a Southwest chicken salad. The lettuce was old and wilted, brown on the ends, the chicken was more like crumbles. It tasted like a salad you might get in a gas station deli. Very disappointing . We each ate about half of our salads and it just wasn't worth it to eat any more. I feel like a refund is appropriate. I have never done this before, but I hate paying for something so marginal. read more

I always have high hopes here, and it seems I'm always disappointed. I was willing to give this location a shot, but I think we were wrong. First, food wasn't quite done correctly (and was ready 14 minutes after the promised time in our online order). Then we go home and find... a freaking dead BUG in a sandwich. Disgusting. I tried to call the store to share my issue, and you can't get a human on the phone no matter how hard you try. Every selection ends with, "we're sorry, your call couldn't be connected," and the line dropping the call entirely. So my only recourse was to submit an online survey to give feedback (I don't want to give feedback, I want a REFUND for my BUG SANDWICH). We have yet to see if anyone will contact us. Disappointing to say the least. read more

Buyer Beware! I bought two bags of Kneaders Croutons for Thanksgiving stuffing and on the bag it prompts you to visit Kneaders.com/recipes for their delicious stuffing recipes. But when you try that, it takes you to a site that says you are on the WRONG PAGE! I clicked on the CONTACT US link but nothing yet! Pretty underwhelming and irritating! And NO ONE who works there has a clue how to make stuffing! How insane is that? I told them I NEED the recipe or the bags will do me no good. C'mon! Kneaders used to be my favorite bakery, but the last several times I've gone, the service was bad, the employees seem clueless and careless! Is the food quality next? read more

Great food, we loved it, only downfall was employees. We'd go back because the food was so good.

we were there on September 20, 2024, and we ordered a tun sandwich, and a veggie sandwich with soup. The tuna sandwich was terrible. They put about a very thin layer of tuna, which was really hard to see on the sandwich. My husband was very upset that there was very little tuna. The veggie sandwich had a very small, thin piece of cheese that didn't even cover half the bread. The tomatoes were not ripe. We will never go back to Kneaders because of this. Out bill was about $25.00. I complained but the manager said I will make sure they are putting the amount needed for that sandwich. Well, what about our food? He did not address our food at all. We threw the food away and left. Carol 480-665-0601 read more

We ordered an almond croissant and cinnamon bun. With the house coffee. I am not accustomed to having flakey pastry with fillings, or cinnamon buns served cold. They were. When we informed our server she put them in the microwave resulting in a hot mushy mess. It was served in a bag not even a paper plate. It gets points for looks but that is all. Very disappointing. If we took it home and let it warm up it might have been better. On the plus side the prices were very reasonable and the coffee was good. The sandwiches appear to be what bring the customers. They did look great. read more

I ordered three pies for Christmas. We gave them a week to prepare the order and I went in for pick up as scheduled, 2 pies were ready, and one pie was not. We were assured by the pastry chef if we came back on Saturday, the pie would be ready. When we went in the next day, the pie was not ready and we were told to come back in one hour. We came back two hours later, and the pie was not ready. This is the worst service I've ever experienced from any facility I've ever been to. We will not be back. read more

We love Kneaders but the last two trips here were so bad. The employee that is always there is nice but seems to be the only employee for this location. Last time we are inside. Someone complained about the wait and wanted their money back. We waited a very long time but were told before hand they were under staffed so we were patient. They were out of most things. Today we tried again. Went through the drive thru and no one responded or said a thing. We drove around and went in. The same guy finally came out of the back. I thought maybe they just left and no one was there. Again they said they had very little selections. So we just drove to the other location. Sad read more

Service and quality has gone way downhill! The last few times we went here it has taken a long time but I was patient and understood they were busy and everyone was working hard. Today I placed an online order for breakfast at 7:20am and was informed that the order would be ready at 8am. I arrived at 8am and waited for 20 minutes only to be told that the food wasn't ready (looked like it hadn't even been started). It took another 20 minutes for our food to be ready. Several of the staff were especially unfriendly (Cynthia in particular). I understand being short staffed and busy but I won't go here anymore after this last experience because of the increasingly long wait times and the staff that is miserable. read more

First timer. Last timer. From walking in door to receiving food was 49 minutes. Just 1/2 sandwich and soup. Only one person taking orders at the counter and a line to the door, but there were 3 people filling holidays baskets in the dining room. Soup was OK, could have been warmer. I had to distribute the sandwich fillings as they were just lumped in the middle of two slices of bread. Should have went to Taco Bell! read more
