Kneaders is pretty good. I'd definitely pick it over corner bakery cafe any day because their cleanness outshines them by a land slide. Corner bakery cafe is disgusting. I enjoy kneader's raspberry bread pudding. It's amazing. Most of their desserts are amazing expect their cookies. I've always been disappointed with those. They might look tasty but don't let that fool you, they are as bland and as flavorless as can be. The only REAL complaint I have is their breakfast. Their cinnamon French toast used to be great but the past couple of times I've got it, it's been cold and it just tasted like I was eating a big brick of stale bread. Oh and don't get me started on the so called "omelettes" hahaha now that's a story for the grandkids. I ordered the "Greek" omelette one time and what I got instead was a nasty ass pile of grey colored scrambled eggs with soggy spinach and huge ass chunks of feta cheese. Hmmm now I'm no Gordan Ramsey, but last time I checked an omelette is supposed to take somewhat of a burrito/crepe looking form... Not a previously digested looking mess of who the crap knows what. I' be eaten at kneaders in Layton and loved it, but the ogden location has been disappointing to say the least. The last 3 times visiting, I received something wrong in my order either something left out or the wrong sandwich. Also, these expensive sandwiches have about one small piece of meat dead center in the middle of the bread with about an inch of bread with nothing all the way around. If I order a turkey sandwich I want turkey on it, but the biggest ingredient that covers most of the bread is that one slice of tomato. It would be nice if they would fix the problems, but I've complained before and come back to exactly the same issues. So, if you want to go to kneaders, hit the one in Layton instead. read more

Tonight I was going to go see a movie and I was running late for it. So, I was driving back home and I was like Kneaders is open? Carrot cake sounds amazing! So it was like 10:15pm and I decided to go inside. I went inside and they didn't see me at first, but then they did and helped me right away. I asked her what time she closed and she was like oh at 10. I was like "It's 10:15! I didn't know, I'm sorry!" She was like "Oh it's totally okay, we don't mind if people are here past close!" I wasn't going to stay long obviously but just the fact that they were technically still closed and STILL went out of their way to help me says a lot because I've worked in Restaurants forever and I know what a pain that can be. I came to get something gluten free since I have to be! And so I ordered the bacon avocado salad and the broccoli cheese soup!! The service was fast and friendly and the cashier was sooo nice and helpful with finding me gluten free offers!:) it was such a positive experience!!! read more

This place sucks. Don't bother. Trust me. I ordered an egg and Swiss breakfast sandwich on a croissant and added spinach and tomato. The egg was dark brown and tasted like metal. They totally forgot the cheese. The tomato was paste and they charged me $1.00 to add spinach and there was literally two small baby brown spinach leaves on the whole thing. This breakfast sandwich came out to be a little over 6 dollars. We were heading out of town and had a long drive ahead of us and wanted to grab something for breakfast that was an alternative to the typical fast food chains and this place did not work out. The people were nice. The customer service was good but none of that really matters when your food tastes like dog poo. They also screwed up the coffee order. Don't go. read more

I went to Kneaders July 3. 2019, for the third time since it opened, it disappointed, again. I swore I would never go again after the first two times but that's where the girls wanted to go. I ordered a veggie sandwich w/ avocado, you would think it would have cucumber, onion, tomatoes, leaf lettuce and avocado on it, right? Veggies. It had ONE thin slice of tomato, HALF a piece of iceberg lettuce & I think they cut an avocado into quarters then cut the quarter into three slices and put on the croissant, that's it, for what over $5? Per my last croissant sandwich there, a chicken salad sandwich, I had to throw 1/4 or more of the croissant away because the 'veggies' didn't even cover the whole croissant. I bought a loaf of whole wheat bread, I was too tired to put each piece into baggies and freeze it until the next day, it's like it was a week old, the price wasn't bad $3.99, but stale the next day. The bread, one ice tea and three sandwiches cost $34, ridiculous. I won't be talked into going there ever again, three time loser. I don't know why people like it so much, cheap and expensive. read more

First time at Kneaders and most likely my last. As I stood in line waiting to order my meal the display case was full of very delicious looking cakes and pastries. The inside of the restaurant is very well done and clean. I decided to order a Ruben sandwich and this ended up be a mistake. I also ordered a bowl of Tomato Bisque, and the meal came with some potato chips. I only waited a short time after ordering and the meal was brought to my table. At first glance every thing looked great and I was excited to dig in. I started off with the soup, had to add a little salt & pepper as it was a little bland but not bad. As I ate the soup I started feeling weird pieces of some thing unchewable. Not sure what it was but it didn't sit well with me so I moved on to the Reuben. This sandwich was huge, and had some really dark brown rye bread just the way I like it. I took my first bite and everything went sour from that point. The sauerkraut was about and inch thick and all piled up in the middle of the sandwich. I took the sandwich apart and found the sandwich was completely center loaded with about an inch of empty bread all the way around it. I was able to find 2 pieces of thinly sliced meat and one melted slice of cheese that may have covered half the sandwich. Was never able to find any sauce. This was by far the worst Ruben sandwich I have ever eaten. I normally give places a second chance but between the soup and sandwich I think I will always be able to get better food else where. To bad I really thought this place would have been better. read more

I don't recommend this place. I used to go all the time when it first opened, but the last 6 months has been very disappointing. They are always out of their soup and then my wife asked if she could get a combo meal and pay extra to upsize to a bowl of soup. "THEY SAID NO THEY DON'T DO THAT HERE". Pretty stupid rules. We're definitely pleased to have a Kneader's Bakery in our community. The breads, cakes, pies, pastries, and rolls are beautifully presented in a casual, pleasant atmosphere. The cannolis are to die for! The sandwiches are made from fresh, quality ingredients available on a variety of European-style breads. We haven't had the opportunity to sample the salads or soups yet but the Reuben Pannini on Rustic Rye was delicious as was the Turkey and artichoke on Focaccia. You can tell this place really cares about the quality of their products. The staff was polite, friendly and efficient and the prices are very much in line with the quality fare Kneader's offers. This place is going to put a lot of old, tired Ogden lunch spots to shame. read more

I will never order from these people again. We placed an order for doctors at a local hospital and we got the order with several items missing. When we called to let them know the first lady was apologetic and said she would get the items delivered because it was their fault. Well about an hour later (still haven't received our missing items) another lady (the delivery driver) called to let me know that the broccoli soup wasn't on the receipt. I got the receipt and showed her where to look. She begins to explain to me how it was OUR fault that THEY missed items on the receipt. She said the people who pick up the order should have known what they were getting. First of all, the people picking up the order had no clue what they were getting because it was for a office full of people and they were just picking up the items. If the items were on the receipt shouldn't it have been KNEADERS job to make sure everything that was paid for was included? ? ? I am so disgusted with these people. I would NEVER recommend anyone to order from them unless you are going to go in and sit and everyone you are ordering for are sitting with you. DO NOT DO CARRY OUT OR PICK UP.....YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ENTIRE ORDER. read more
