There's no excuse for me NOT to come here every week. Living in Arvada, Knead the Bakery is a staple. I finally woke up early to come here and order a small bag of pastries - specifically Cheese Danish, Apple Fruit Diamond, and Bear Claw. I took them home to enjoy with my coffee. Plenty of parking in this strip mall lot. Customer service is great. My favorite pastry was the Bear Claw, which one of the staff members recommended. The Fruit Diamond was delicious as well. I thought I'd like the Cheese Danish more than I did, but it was only okay. Next time I'm getting some of the larger pastries to split. Great place to stop by before heading into the office OR hang out here. There were quite a few people in the weekday morning crowd just chilling at one of the many tables in this surprisingly large bakery. Can't wait to try more! read more

Great Bakery! I purchased sourdough and French loaves from here and they are fantastic!! Fresh, soft and tasty. I'm using this bread for dipping in my own seasoned evoo and making sandwiches. The price is reasonable and the service was very inviting and helpful. The atmosphere is also very clean and cheery. Super cute place inside! I'm thrilled this bakery is in my neighborhood! I had a friend who brought some pastry with him to our weekly golf outing. I had the Cherry mini pie. It was fabulous and I knew I wanted more. When I got home I told my wife about it and we went to enjoy a breakfast croissant and some of the other goodies they have. We loaded up box to take home. I had the most amazing, large and tasty cheese danish i could ever imagine. My friends got a blueberry strudel and it looked like a massive amount of blueberries in it. Prices are modest and quality equal to better than bakeries that are much more pricy. Closed on Monday and Tuesdays. Fresh bread, and also closed for January. Good for them. Very friendly. Had the monster cheese danish, wifey had elephants ear, big also and a large coffee for under $10. Wow. Give it a try, hidden a couple of doors down from the motor vehicle registry. Enjoy. read more

Friendly staff that acknowledges you when you walk in the bakery. The food looks tempting and tastes as good as it looks. You will find yourself walking back and forth in front of the display case selecting more items than you originally came in to purchase. You won't be able to buy just one item and the products taste much more genuine than another famous Arvada bakery. This place is great! My spouse has a very severe peanut allergy and finding local bakeries that are safe for us to try can be quite a challenge. Luckily, I called and spoke with someone and they let me know they don't use peanuts in this facility. I went and picked up a French loaf, raspberry danish, and the custard cinnamon roll. All fantastic choices, though I can't recommend the cinnamon roll highly enough (it's so good it should be illegal). We're definitely coming back to try all the other goodies. Also it was really sweet how many regulars were there and the gal behind the counter seemed to know them all by name. We got a light rye sandwich loaf that was sort of an old school American sandwich bread - softer, uniform crumb and light crust with a light rye flavor. They're about seven months new but the lady that was there yesterday was the epitome of a good business owner. Pleasant, friendly but professional. Free wifi ! Oh yeah! Now this is my main reason for giving her the full five stars! Her prices! The quality of her pastries! Have you heard your wallet groan at the pastry prices out there? Yeah. Some even have the nerve to charge close to $10! Here almost everything is under $2! I had two pastries plus a hot chocolate for $5 and change! I was floored! This a great little bakery and nice place to get a cup of coffee and visit with friends. The coffee is good and simple plain coffee. The baked goods are scrumptious!! You really need to search out this local gem. Classic old world flaky pastry dough, consistently prepared fresh daily. Often my Sunday morning wake up visit to gather snacks for the family. We have our favorites, my wife loves the cherry almond pastry. I alternate from the walnut roll to the raisin roll. Both bring me back to a piazza in Roma. Wow! What a surprising find. Up in Arvada for a basketball tournament and had time to kill. We go one of each croissant and a bunch of cinnamon bark. The croissants were the best we've ever had. Ever. Even better than the Parisan cafes we've visited. My daughter got the custard cinnamon roll and while I thought it was amazing, she thought the custard was too thick. But it was really good custard!! We left with a loaf of cinnamon bread for future French toast. The manager was here and she is such a delight. So full of light and joy. Fast and efficient service. Historically, Colorado has struggled to provide good bakeries. It's just the way it was. Not anymore. While there are several popping up throughout the state most have decent to good to a few great pastries. Sadly they are also expensive. Knead the Bakery to the rescue! Situated in an unassuming strip mall (seriously, there is a bingo place a few doors down) this little gem is absolutely worth a trip. If you are not already on the way, better get going. Every item I have had here is awesome. Like, really awesome. My favorites are the spinach and cheese croissant, almond ring (ohmygod), raisin roll, cinnamon roll with custard, cinnamon bark slice. Even better, almost all of the pastries are $3 or less! Now you can really load up. Stephanie is always up front and is just the nicest. Even though I have never met her husband, I know they are both good people with a great dream to open this bakery. I love supporting them by selfishly ordering pastry after pastry after pastry. One note to keep in mind at the beginning of the year: they close for the month of January. So stock up in December! read more
