Do you need electronics components, such as transistors, resistors, circuit boards, connectors etc?…read morePrototypes, hobbyists and DIY folks will all find reasons to head to Electronics Expiditers. They are hard-ish to find, they are in the industrial area in the west end of Camarillo. and you need to call ahead if you have specific parts that you need-because during Covid they closed off their warehouse, so you have to order by items now instead of browsing the aisles. But they are super nice & easy to work with. :)

Like stepping back in time... They have a lot of the discrete components you need to develop your…read moreown project designs. They don't stock much of anything relating to ICs or transistors, but you'll find a selection of chassis, and hardware items to build up your prototypes. T One downside is that since they have so few walk-in customers, you can't get in to the parts area without waiting for one of the phone support people to break free and walk you over to the parts area. Another down side is that much of their shelf stock is very old. Spray cans of solvent may be half-empty from can leaks, and electrolytic aren't necessary going to be fresh. But with components like fans, relays, transformers, resistors, etc. that won't matter. They also carry hand tools, tool cases, heat-shrink, solder, connectors, adapters, plugs... just a lot of other stuff to create and repair electronic projects. Their pricing is not particularly cheap. The people working there (mostly in cubicles doing phone orders) are very nice.

I recently had a frustrating experience at your store. There were multiple employees working in the…read moreexchange/returns area and at self-checkout, but only one person available at the main checkout lane, where the line was very long. I asked if I could be helped at self-checkout and was told I had to use the main checkout lane. I then went to the exchange/returns counter to see if they could assist, but was again told no and directed back to the same long line. This was confusing, especially since I've been helped at both self-checkout and the exchange counter in the past. I understand that there are policies in place, but the current setup doesn't seem efficient or customer-focused. It would make more sense to allocate staff where they're most needed, especially during busy times, to better serve customers and reduce long wait times. Because of this experience, it honestly feels more convenient to shop online rather than deal with in-store inefficiencies.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've experienced at a Best Buy…read more I stopped in around 10:30 a.m. ready to purchase a VR headset, but was told I'd have to wait about 20 minutes for someone to help me. There was no option to simply buy the item I had already decided on and check out. What made it even more frustrating was seeing several employees standing around chatting with each other while customers were waiting for assistance. Rather than waste more time, I left empty-handed. I'll be buying my VR headset on Amazon instead. If you're looking for customer service or a quick, hassle-free purchase, this location missed the mark.

I walked in unannounced and was greeted professionally with a smile. I showed him how I tried to do the soldering myself but failed miserably. Dude is very intelligent and I could tell that he has decades of experience. He knocked out my job quickly and charged a very fair price. He saved me at least $900 for doing this. If I have any other electronic projects in the future you best believe that I will be contacting him. Thank you Moni for your help.

THE TEAM @ PHANTOM ELECTRONICS ABSOLUTELY ROCK! Long story…read moreshort, I contacted PHANTOM to rehabilitate a new stereo install ( from another shop ) that never worked from the initial install , and was an electrical hazard and faulty. That stereo shop in Simi Valley ( Discount Stereo ) totally screwed up my car with an install as well as causing a couple grand in body work damage as a result of negligence and refused to repair their work or remove all the equipment and refund the money. The Phantom team had to go through the entire install + replace some defective hardware, correct all the wiring, remove the ( literally ) fried wires in the engine compartment, etc.... But 8 hours later and admittedly some expense, Howard and his team kicked @ss!!! Can't say enough how much I appreciate the work in my 2002 PROWLER. "GO PHANTOM OR GO HOME!!!"
