Had a great 60 minute massage with Tracey. Got a deal on Groupon and recommend. It was a hot stone massage. My only fault was not being asked the problem areas and how I'd like the massage to feel. I bought 3 Groupons for facials for myself and my family. Unfortunately, the place was very noisy because the staff will not stop trying to upsell on additional services. A facial is supposed to be calm and relaxing and it was far from it. I never had a facial that did not automatically include extractions. I had the hydrating facial and it was a couple of masks and she left the room for majority of the time to attend to other customers. If they don't like the discount on Groupon then they should remove themselves. I like to try places through Groupon at a discount to see if I would go back and pay full price. I know it is for first time customers but what she did I could have done at home myself. The one thing I needed was extractions and they did not perform that. I purchased a Groupon for the 75-minute Hydrodermabrasion Facial Treatment with Rose Soft Mask. My friend has a package here and we did a group facial together -- she booked our facials so I can't testify to how easy or hard it would be to make the appointment but they accepted the Groupon the day of really efficiently! They speak Chinese and English but their English isn't proficient enough to explain everything as well as they did in Chinese. When I started my facial, they had us up on a cloth that resembled a tube dress as they'll massage your neck and shoulder area a bit. The whole process started off with cleaning your face, then they'll steam your face for a long time -- feels like a humidifier on your face/face over a hot water basin and they'll massage your neck/shoulders for a couple mins along with your face which felt longer. Then they'll use a machine that scrapes across your face to remove some gunk off your face. After they'll do the extractions with a hand held tool (probably your normal blackhead removal tool) which was painful for me. Then they use another tool to disinfect your skin and close your pores -- it zaps your face so it stings a bit. All my blackheads did come out tho so that was amazing!! After they wipe your face and then put on a mask. They kept selling me this oxygen mask because my skin was excessively dry and had too much dead skin build up and instead of the Rose Soft Mask I should get the Oxygen Hydration Mask (this was an extra $40). So before this mask they use this cool air blaster on your face then the put on a thick soft mask (the oxygen one) and you lay there for a really long time (~30 mins) but they leave you and don't provide any service. Then afterwards, they'll wipe it off and wash your face, apply facial moisturizer and sunscreen. I don't think they were lying about my skin condition because I really do have dry skin :( My face did feel soft afterwards tho! I would say they're not really gentle or thorough in their work. Some of it seemed rush -- especially the end. I'm not tolerant to pain so I would prefer if they were more delicate with my face..so I'm not really satisfied with their service. They also kept trying to sell their facial packages to me and get me to buy their products but I'm not going to randomly buy products after a session so I rejected both. I also got an inflamed pimple under my lips near my chin later that night so maybe they didn't use that disinfectant tool thoroughly enough -- BUT it can also be my skin just acting up since I don't do facials with extractions often. I'm more likely to use sheet masks hah. Total came out to be $45 Groupon + $40 Oxygen Mask upgrade = $80 before tip and tax. After tip & tax it was like $95. read more

I got a Groupon for hydrodermabrasion facial. The set up is pretty clean and simple. Here's a summary of the process: - remove makeup/wash face - steam (a lot of waiting involved) - quick neck and shoulder massage (2-3min) - quick face massage (3-5min) - hydro machine for about 5 min (tube suction with water, random strokes, the suction pulls pretty hard, will not remove acne but will get out small Whiteheads and gunk) - extractions (a quick one, mostly scraping with the tool, 5min) - wipe face and waiting for her to get mask ready ---I was done with the whole process in 30min --- - mask goes on for another 30min - mask goes off and light moisturizer is applied - lazy eyebrow clean up with a facial razor My face was not noticeably clearer from white and blackhead as I do not have much acne when I went. Not a bad spot but I prefer longer extractions to help clear my face. Don't forget the $4 tax that will be added to any tip amount. read more

I love how they do facials in KL skin spa, but they don't respect what you want they kept nudging me saying you need this. Your skin is very bad you need this facial it's only gonna be another $30 and I kept repeating no no no because that doesn't fit my budget, but the girl kept pushing me and it wasn't normal and I have a budget as a teenager coming here and they did not respect my boundaries and my budget which was so off of them when I explained to them I'm literally 17 years old girl kept repeating your skin is very very bad you must take our package package. They keep offering things when they keep saying that my budget is literally under $50 now they made me pay $116 well the actual price of all of it together was $97 but they added a few more bucks on it because I think I wouldn't notice, this skin spa is actually terrible or maybe it was my person her name is Kelly. read more

Well I didn't think spending time in a salon could be so disappointing. I treated my sister to her birthday by getting a facial on Groupon since I was on a budget. She got the deep pore detox with collagen mask (which she says wasn't really a mask). You go in lie down, steam your pores, pick at your pores, you get really relaxed then they ask you, "oh do you want to add something extra ($35 extra) to close up your pores?"--mid session. Like isn't that something you include once you open up her pores?!? Not here. They charge extra. She leaves with hot spots on her face from over-picking of some pores--every girls worst nightmare. Good thing we went at dusk--no one saw how badly her facial went. I would have expected them to ask you your skin type and sensitivity so that doesn't happen. Not here. I decided to get eyelash extensions. Chanel made my eyes water both times to eyelash glue that smelled like nail glue. She finished in about an hour, glued clusters of my natural eyelashes together to 1-3 synthetic lashes (and when I say synthetic--you can see the sheen of fakeness.) Now when I brush through my lashes-- oh wait, I can't really because the base of them are all fucked up and I'm stuck with them until they fall off or I decide to rip them off. She glued my upper to lower lashes some how so many times. I swear she came at my eye with a sharp scissor to cut off her laziness that was poor technique. I came in with normal lashes to leave with an eyelash trim and a terrible extension application. Great experience, not worth the $100 (regular price) I wish I didn't pay. Towards the end of this "experience" we left to the front to pay, and Chanel my tech goes to try to push facial packages onto us by first insulting my dry skin and my sisters huge pores in hopes our low self esteem would buy them. Yeah, right no thank you. I'm never coming back. Pros: they reply quickly via email appointment to steal your money. It was a calm environment. The regular facial I get consists of makeup removal, steam, neck/face massage, extractions, eyebrow clean up and a face mask. My favorite aesthetician is Chanel - she's always meticulous while working on my face and I find her no-filter conversation with me so endearing. She also constantly asks if I'm comfortable and feeling OK throughout the entire facial. This is my go-to facial spot for now because I always walk out the door after my session feeling refreshed and brand new! read more

Highly recommend this place! After searching for a facial place for almost a year after since I moved from Queens down here, I finally found one!! It's even better than my old facial place in Flushing, Queens. This place is clean, spacious and relaxing. Staffs are super friendly and most importantly, they take well care on your skin! I have very sensitive skin, oily combination type with acne and big pores, my skin gets reddish super easily, anything that is too strong will definitely hurt my skin and the reddish will not go away for like 2-3 days. However, my skin didn't get super sensitive and reddish like I used to in some other spa. I love how smooth and clean the result came out, so I decided to buy a package right after I used the Groupon deal I bought. It is definitely worth the money to buy the package cause it will be cheaper for each visit, and this place surely do a great job. I can see my skin gets less pimples, less oily, significantly smoother and bright skin after 3-4 times visit! I can't be happier!! My mom and I wanted to get a massage and didn't want to go too far. After search we saw this place and got a groupon for a couples massage. Appointment was available for the same day for 5pm. We got there around 4:50pm and was taken in the rooms in 10 minutes. The massage was AMAZING and the facial was pretty good too. I was not expecting the facial to be that long considering the groupon is for 60 min massage with the facial treatment. A new spa in the neighborhood and after reading some yelp reviews, decided to try them out. After experiencing a microdermabrasion deep cleansing facial there, I can totally recommend this place. The spa has 3-4 rooms, very clean, relaxing and simple decor. Good ventilation and smelled nice, always a plus in my book. As for the facial, I came in with really dry skin with lots of breakout. They started with cleaning the face, then exfoliating the skin, then comes steam to open up your pores. Afterwards they use the microdermabrasion wand to suction out all the gunk in the pores, and even went in afterward with a tool to remove remaining white/blackheads. After cleaning everything out, they put on a clay model mask and it's time for a nap. Once the mask dried up, they remove it and clean your face again, put on some toner and cream and my skin was refreshed. I definitely saw a difference right afterward, my skin was more dewy and way less congested and red. My esthetician was great, friendly, explain the process to me, answer question, had the softest hand and was not pushy on selling me other products. She shared specials and recommendations with me, but left it up to me to decide. Also I got a very nice neck and shoulder massage in the process while my face was soaking in all the goodness. I purchased a 75 min hydrodermabrasion facial treatment with rose soft mask from Groupon. I was able to call and book the appointment two weeks later. I would call in advance bc they get booked up fast. The atmosphere was really nice and clean. They have about three rooms and very spacious. However they don't have any tables or chairs to place your bag while you're getting your treatment. The technician explained the procedure to me. She starts off by examining your face then she starts cleansing. She also uses the steamer to help open up the pores which allows her to do extractions a lot easier. And goddamn, extractions hurt!! Next she uses the machine for the hydrodermabrasion. Water constantly rolls down your face as she is moving the wand. I don't think the technician knows the proper way to do a dermabrasion because there are specific ways to apply the strokes on the face. She was doing random stokes of suctioning. She even bruised my face, which I didn't see until I got home. During the process, I felt stinging on one side of my face and I thought it was part of the treatment. However when I got home, you can clearly see the two strokes where she applied the suction. She also told me to upgrade my mask to reduce redness, which I did. And they give you a free mini neck/shoulder massage which I enjoyed. The only thing is the bruising on my face ! I came to make my face cleaner and brighter but came home with a bruise. Have been here twice, both times for a massage and collagen mask. The massage was very thorough and she made sure to work out all my knots, asking where my problem areas were and if pressure was okay. The collagen mask was a very relaxing treatment - once it's applied you're left to relax with it on for ~20 minutes, during which I drifted off to a dreamy half-sleep both times. It is extremely relaxing, and in the end washed off with warm water soaked cloths. The staff was friendly, polite and informative during both visits. At the end, they offered me discounted pricing on packages for future visits, but were not at all pushy or trying hard to sell, which I really appreciated. Would absolutely return to try some different types of massages and facials. Added note about how clean this place is and how nicely decorated it is! Also one time (before doing the laser hair removal )I was asking for wax and I was very happy with the results(that's why I came again and that's why they deserved a two star) and they treat me very gently, but the next time I came I saw the same lady who did me the wax and I asked her if she can do me again but she said oh I'm sorry the lady is not here and she's in front of my face! This was my second time here. The first experience was great, my technician was really nice (I regret not getting her name). Second time I took my aunt for a facial and the lady who did the facial was extremely nasty when it came to tip. Unfortunately I only had $5 cash on me so I gave that for tip and she looks at it, says something in Chinese to the (very nice) receptionist and then tells me that there is a $10 minimum for tip. I was so confused, why is there a minimum??? I as a customer choose myself how much I want to tip. I was so confused, I said I only have $5. The tech responded with such a nasty attitude "whatever it's fine" and walked away. No where in the spa did I see a sign saying tip is a minimum of $10. They should advertise that to clients if they want to get what they want. I walked in to get my aunt a $45 facial but the nice receptionist spoke to me nicely saying to get an extra service which was $20 extra and I agreed. So I already paid more than I wanted too. This unnecessary attitude over tip really made me dislike this place. I regret not getting this techs name but I am very disappointed. She got all of the knots on my back. loved it. the Collagen mask was a treat. Overall the package was a great deal for $35.
