During a recent visit, I encountered a situation where the staff seemed to assume I was going to leave without paying, simply because I mentioned going to the ATM. This incident left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, on another occasion, a nail technician tried to persuade me to choose a nail shape different from what I wanted, and later reacted negatively when I requested a color change. These experiences have led me to believe that there may be underlying racist tendencies at play in this salon. Despite being a regular customer at this nail salon, I have consistently felt a sense of unease due to the attitudes displayed by some of the staff. The incident where I was met with suspicion after mentioning using the ATM highlighted a lack of trust and respect towards me as a client. Furthermore, the interaction with a technician who seemed reluctant to fulfill my nail design preferences and reacted negatively to a simple request for a color change only reinforced my discomfort. These encounters have raised concerns about the professionalism and inclusivity of the salon. As a customer who values respectful and fair treatment, the recurring instances of questionable behavior at this nail salon have left me contemplating whether to continue patronizing their services. The consistent display of what appears to be discriminatory attitudes and actions towards me, especially in moments where I expect to receive quality service, has undoubtedly impacted my overall experience. Moving forward, I hope to see improvements in the salon's approach to customer interactions to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients. If you want good service. Please go next door. They are extremely genuine.

I'm in town visiting family for the holidays and decided to get a full body wax, which was supposed to cost $150. From the moment the waxing started, the technician complained about how much hair I had. I've been getting waxed every six weeks for years and have never had anyone complain about this. During the session, her coworker kept asking if she was finished, and the technician told her she wouldn't do my butt unless I paid an extra $40. I explained that I didn't want it because a full body wax has always cost $150, and I typically follow it up with a facial. When I declined the extra charge, she and her coworker laughed at me. My boyfriend, who was on the phone with me, told me to leave immediately, but I decided to stay and finish the service since I was already halfway through. The technician took over an hour and a half, constantly stepping out because she claimed to be allergic to the baby powder she was using. Once she finished, I asked for my eyebrows and upper lip to be done, as they are part of the service. She argued that they weren't included, but her coworker corrected her. She then started yelling, saying she didn't know it was part of the package. At that point, I decided not to proceed with the facial and just wanted to pay and leave. While I was paying, she asked how much I was tipping. I said 10%, but she said it wasn't enough and complained that her arms were hurting. I explained that my family has been loyal customers for years and we always tip, but tipping is a choice, not an obligation. She began yelling at me, accusing me of not wanting to tip at all. Despite her rudeness, I still offered 10%, but she refused and became even more hostile. I've never felt so humiliated in my life. She complained the entire time, even telling her coworker she didn't care and was going to charge me an extra $40 because of my hair. I've always followed the six-week schedule recommended by my usual waxing technician, so this accusation was completely unwarranted. This experience was unacceptable, and I won't be returning."
