Visited in Ocean City with my 3 year old celiac grandson. How wonderful to walk into a bakery and tell him he can have whatever he wants! He especially loved the blueberry and strawberry pop tarts (we had to go back for more). I enjoyed the scones. And the French baguette was surprising good for gluten-free. I'll start with the positive: the chocolate chip chunk cookie was excellent. Great flavor and an abundance of chocolate. Top notch! The not so good: the blueberry scone. I purchased a package of two. It was iced and the two blueberries I saw on top of the scone looked moist. It was, in fact, a dry and borderline flavorless-one of the worst pastries I've ever had. Thank you SO much for making it possible to get delicious GF baked goods in Ocean City while on vacation! My daughter is always open to try GF items, but she devoured everything I bought from this bakery (fudgey chocolate cookie sandwich with frosting, large CC cookie, s'mores cookie, s'mores cupcake, bacon and cheddar scone, cinnamon donut with cream cheese frosting, and a cinnamon bun with cream cheese frosting). Excellent gluten free bakery! I myself am not gluten free but I appreciate that they have vegan options! I have purchased cupcakes in the past for friends who have gluten sensitivity/celiac disease. They assured me that their bakery is 100% gluten free. I love their vegan cupcakes. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They don't have a spot to dine in but it's still a great spot to pick up orders or just drop in for a premade cupcake from their case! I cannot say enough great things about Kizbee's Kitchen! My now husband and I had a very DIY wedding and decided to roll with three vegan wedding cakes. Our aesthetic was also not traditional, but none of this got in the way for Jenna. I left everything in her hands and was absolutely grateful I did. Each cake tasted amazing, even by non-vegan standards. The cakes were also gorgeous and any suggestions I did have were happily incorporated into the design. Not a huge fan of the cookies, but the cupcakes and loaves are great, without the super grainy texture a lot of gluten free baked goods have.
