We met John when we were looking for a beautiful piece of flagstone to use as a hearth for our…read morefireplace and the selection, price and installation were fantastic. John was extremely knowledgeable and looked like someone from central casting - a Santa Fe character of the best possible kind. His business card, bearing the emblem "Everybody must get stone!", made the rounds of many friends and family, all of whom were blown away so he was already a cultural hero in our little circle. Fast forward four months - We had to excavate the side yard to the tune of 11 tow truck loads and were left with a south end of the lot that now needed a long retaining wall. None too happy about the added expense, we went back to John with something very specific in mind. He listened carefully and showed us photos and examples from his lot of what the finished wall could look like and we were sold. He and his band of merry masons showed up with the stone two days later and began a painstaking process of bringing our vision to life. Viewing the day's progress turned into an evening ritual that never got old. The care, artistry and technical skill of his team produced what everybody agreed was the highlight of our property and the best view from any window. The built-in banco remains cool in the shadows and will be much used as a resting place as we build the adjoining vegetable garden. We went with the lower end quote and got what looks to us like the higher end product. We couldn't be happier and wouldn't use anyone else going forward. What is it about a man who is completely in touch with his medium and wants to build something striking that will stand the test of time? We call him an artist behind his back and John to his face.

My service request for a shower valve replacement was assigned by my home warranty company to…read moreEnchantment Refrigeration on 11/20/23. At that time, I called and spoke to Leroy, one of the owners, who assured me that they could get the job scheduled for shortly after Thanksgiving. He asked me to call him back the week of 11/27, which I did. Each time I called him, he was too busy and asked me to call him back later that day or the next day. After literally 4 tries, Leroy finally scheduled the job for 12/4 at 10 am. I called him on 12/4 at 9 am just to confirm that his crew would be arriving within an hour or so. At that time, he told me that my home warranty company had cancelled the assignment & his crew wouldn't be coming. I found that hard to believe as I have a lot of experience with my home warranty company and they don't just randomly cancel service assignments. So I pushed Leroy and he admitted that "his other owner" had cancelled it on Friday 12/1 but Leroy couldn't explain why since he didn't do the cancellation. This made me quite irritated and I told Leroy that I would be giving his company a very bad Yelp review. When I called my home warranty company, they told me that Leroy himself had actually cancelled the job with them on Wednesday 11/29. So at this point, it was clear that Leroy had lied to me in a number of ways. In the meantime, "the other owner" (that is how he identified himself) started texting me, apparently out of concern for a bad Yelp review, and told me that he had suffered a death in his family on Friday and that is why he had cancelled the job and forgotten to call me. I responded that I knew he was lying because AHS confirmed that Leroy himself had cancelled it on Wednesday, not Friday. It became obvious that this "other owner" was willing to tell any lie in order to avoid a bad Yelp review. Bottom line -- thanks to Enchantment Refrigeration, I have nothing to show for my 2+ weeks of waiting to get my shower valve replaced except a bunch of lies. I highly recommend avoiding this unprofessional firm at all costs for your plumbing repairs.

I agreed to his suggestion of changing the chord as his analysis was correct. However, the charge to change the chord --- plug in whip type chord about 4 ft long --- was ALMOST $500.00! I understand that travel time was involved also, but I feel this charge is outrageous for the work done. RIPOFF!

During the pandemic (20/21) we needed to add central AC to our Santa Fe townhome--not easy because of the configuration of the townhomes in our area. Bob came out, looked at our situation, and made a suggestion about size, layout etc. Because the supply chain was at a standstill, we had to wait for months for the unit to come in. Bob even paid for it for me to reimburse later to make sure we had the unit. His installation team was great, despite the labor shortage the installation was timely. Later, when I couldn't quite understand the remote heat/cool control installed on my phone, Bob came out to show me how it works.
