While the work completed on the day of service was to our satisfaction, the plants we had added to our yard have pretty much died since then, even after following the very few care recommendations offered by Santos (and doing much more research on our own). Our yard now looks as bad (if not worse) than it did previously. If Santos wants to be considered a landscaping company, there should have been more assistance in regards to plant selection and placement. To add insult to injury, we paid extra money for "better quality" plants (at the recommendation of Santos), and those plants look dismal (even with regular care). Bottom line: We are left feeling we paid a lot of money for a yard that looked nice for about a week. Pro Tip: If you want yard maintenance, this is probably the right company for you, but if you want a comprehensive landscaping consult, you might want to consider other companies.

All the important components were there including high quality materials. This company had my confidence and my business. The crew of 7, led by foreman Anderson, did outstanding work. As foreman, Anderson made onsite decisions that were brilliant and showed respect for my neighbors and my property. He worked right alongside the crew. The work progressed very quickly from demolition, and tree removal, to materials delivery, through excavation for the footings, quality drainage, wall building with backfill. They even moved my 6'x8' shed out of the way to build and then restored it to its original place! The crew clearly had a lot of respect for Anderson. They showed up early morning, worked a long day sometimes in the cold rain of December and never slowed their steady pace down. They tidied up the site at the close of each day and mitigated damage to existing pathways by putting plywood down to protect from heavy wheelbarrow loads. I only needed about 3 tons and was able to get the delivery scheduled at my convenience. The driver was very professional and dumped the rock exactly where I needed it. It was delivered the next day in one of their big trucks and it was a tight squeeze for the driver to back up and dump the load but he did it with precision and was very personable.
