DANISH DOUGH WHIXK

The other day I bought a Danish Dough Whisk for mixing bread dough instead of using a spatula. From research I had an idea of how it was to work. However, in real life it does not work as described and the spatula is a better thing to use for my arthritic hands. So I called the store this morning and asked if I could return it. Unfortunately for me, once the tag is off there is no return, regardless if it works as for you or not. As much as I used to like browsing in their store I will never go there again. Will wait for the stuff to show up at Home Sense for a much lower price and a sensible return policy. BE AWARE WHEN BUYING THERE THAT YOU ASK ABOUT THEIR RETURN POLICY AND CLEARLY UNDERSTAND IT BEFORE YOU PAY FOR ANYTHING.

So cute!

I love places like Kitchen Therapy. So cute and intimate, yet they offer such a grand selection. It's a well decorated and designed store. It's just packed with character. It's one of those places where you could probably find everything that you needed for your kitchen. From aprons, to avocado slicers, blenders, to place settings, etc... Definitely a place I would go to buy a housewarming present or a unique little piece for my own kitchen. I love it and can't wait to go back!

Cafe Culinaire is easily one of the hardest places to get into in Bellingham, but it's totally…read moreworth the effort and the wait. This international buffet is operated by BTC's Culinary Arts Program, and its limited hours and small size make it almost impossible to actually experience. In fact, I've only done so twice myself (and I've lived here for almost 20 years). Each week, the Culinary Arts team creates a new menu and runs Cafe Culinaire like a fine dining establishment for prices that your grandparents probably paid for a 5-star meal back when they were in their dating years. In other words, not only is the food good here, it's amazingly affordable. They aren't open during the summer, by the way, so keep your eye on their website for their next opening date and clear your schedule - 'cuz Cafe Culinaire waits for no one!

We were lucky enough to get one of the last reservations of the school year for the Cafe Culinaire,…read more part of BTC's Culinary Arts program. The food and service were so good, I can't wait for the students to reopen the cafe and return. I had 3 amazing courses for $18.95, and from the appetizer through to dessert, it was beautifully executed and a delight to eat. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer, which was sauteed beans and breaded prawns. I mentioned it to the waiter, who offered to email me the recipe, and I received it the next day! The service was excellent as well. Very professional and quick. What a gem to find in the city!
