But that's not what I'm writing to you about -- I'm writing because shopping at your store was a great experience! ...from the moment we stepped through the door of Guff and were greeted (by Schroeder) to being assisted with checking out the table/being shown how the drop leafs work (by Schroeder) to paying for the table and a couple of ceramic cups and saucers (the latter just having arrived/but Schroeder looked them up/"no problem") to having our table prepped for pick up (by Paul and Schroeder) to being greeted the next day with a smile (by Paul) to the assist with the table being lifted into the back of our SUV (by Paul) ...it could not have been a better experience!! We will definitely be back -- AND we'll pass on to everyone we know and then some, what a great place to shop Guff is!

Some really nice antique furniture in very great condition. The staff is very knowledgable and will spend a great deal of time helping you pick out the perfect piece. They have products ranging from beds, artwork, dining tables, cabinets, chairs, carpets, desks and everything else. They always have new products in store every time I check them out. 10/10 would recommend everyone to check them out for all your furniture needs.

You'll find a lot of cutely painted Japanese ceramics such as bowls, plates and tea sets. There are a lot of cheaply priced kitchen knick knacks like plastic juicers, mandolins, etc that are under $30. The bathroom products also Japanese cosmetics and face creams. The bedroom items include standard pillows and some duvets but I've also lumped in things like plush toys and cutesy stationary. In terms of living area, there are walls of lucky cats of all different sizes (and even animal types) and an impressive display of misting water fountains. Next year is the lunar year of the dog, so they had lucky dogs to go with their lucky cats! I picked up a set of 2 for $14. The front of the store always displays the sale items the store and in the store there are a lot of 2 for $5 signs as well. Everything is at a lower price point in the store but the wares aren't off putting like at a dollar store. A nice place to hit up if you're ever shopping for a new apartment or dorm room!

My friend and I carried it from this store to my apartment, roughly two blocks away. It was that heavy, but it was a minimalistic, practical item that looked good in a tiny space. Over a decade ago, I used to attend musicals in the entertainment district. I would often visit the Umbra store before a show. I got everything from the Bungee to photo frames. To this day, I travel with a Bungee, which stores various US credit cards and currency. I often swap them out with my Canadian ones when I'm am stateside, and vice-versa when I return home. The bungee part has never weakened after all these years. There isn't any parking by this store. I had parked across the street under Shoppers Drug Mart. I walked over to check this store out. It felt the same, except that the top floor is now a clearance section. I was so happy. I love penguins have been a fan of Umbra's penguin liquid soap pump since its inception in 2008. This clearance section had a modern version of the penguin pump dispenser, including an automatic version. These dispensers were 50% off. I got one of each. The only item that I didn't like was a coiled stool. It was not comfortable sitting on it. It was in the clearance section. Only folks who want to replace the coiled top with a comfortable cushion would be inclined to buy one. This store is kind of like a museum. It was fun seeing when items were first introduce by year and how they have endured. The Bungee and penguin pumps are two such items. It was nice seeing jewellery racks and vessels for plants and more. I tend to get inspired sprucing up my place whenever I see Umbra products. Strumba caught my attention, which is Umbra's version of the kalimba. If I didn't own a kalimba already, I would have bought the Strumba. It's a fun, small instrument to play. There's so much coolness at this store. Doorstoppers. Chess sets. Shoe racks. Tipsy bottle openers to match the sipper. I had the nicest man at the checkout. I paid with a credit card. He placed my items in a paper bag with handles and came out of his area to hand it to me. It was such a classy move and was a nice touch. I wished him a great evening. He reciprocated. I left happy with my clearance items. I hope to not wait over a decade to return to this store. Of note, my soap dispensers are awesome. (389)

I can always find exactly what I am looking for. The variety they offer is impressive. It is easy to choose pieces that fit my style. Their staff were very helpful in contacting other locations when they were low on stock for a specific style . I recently picked up a beautiful set of ramen bowls during their summer sale. I am thrilled with them! They are dishwasher and microwave safe. The prices are reasonable, especially after the 20% discount. I have a handful of stores at Denison Centre that I frequent. They are mainly Shoppers Drug Mart, Dollarama, and Sunfood Supermarket. Last week I was doing some jewellery research. Across from that store was One's, so I dropped by. Just like the other One's stores, you can get everything from humidifiers, to plushies. This store had an impressive collection of tumblers. You can get vacuum ones, water bottles with various designs, and more. If you like ideas on sprucing up your kitchen and bathroom, come here. I saw fun sponges in animal shapes and storage containers to reduce the clutter at home. I am into car accessories these days. This store has fun floor mats. There are a ton of air fresheners that look fancier than the ones at the dollar store! I didn't buy anything, but I did enjoy browsing. It has been at least a couple of years since I last frequented a One's store. Back then, I was looking at a mini humidifier for the office. This store has a similar one, but for your car. This store has two places to enter and exit the store. During strict pandemic protocols, one was an entrance and the other was an exit. These days, it doesn't matter which one you use to enter or exit. I liked dropping by this store. I'm glad that I can say that I've finally been here! (376)
