Norman, Sharon, Wen, and Ian are exceptional--not just in their craftsmanship, but as people. They are some of the kindest and most genuine individuals we've had the pleasure of working with. They care deeply about what they do, and it shows in both the quality of their work and their reliability and responsiveness. The way they treat their clients is truly next level. They are consistently on time, dependable, and deliver beautiful results. Norman has an incredible eye for selections, and I really enjoyed learning from him about cabinetry craftsmanship. Since this was our first home remodel, we leaned on his advice often--and many of his suggestions ended up shaping our home in the best way. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond. Anytime we had a vision, we could call Norman and the team, and they would find a way to bring it to life. Norman would come out, take measurements, and make it happen. When I wanted a custom bookcase, they absolutely delivered. That level of dedication and follow-through is rare. Wen also played a huge role throughout our remodel. From answering every question to supporting us through the final stages, he was incredibly kind, patient, and present the entire time. The customer service we experienced was outstanding, and the quality of the materials, custom cabinetry, and installation exceeded our expectations. You won't regret working with this team. It's rare to find people who care this much about their craft and their clients. We're incredibly grateful to them for showing us what true excellence looks like.

In doing so, you would think that we got all we wanted... but nope. When we started, we had a budget, a tight one. It was our very first home and we weren't sure what we needed or what we truly wanted until you're actually in it. It was finally time. We're ready to make a change. I got a few bids and was ready, it was time to go pick out some countertops and designs. Extended homes was the 2/3 that we went shopped at and got quotes on. The other two places, I will leave names out, 1 was a lot cheaper, but customer service was off. On top of that, I read some bad reviews. The 2nd spot, was a bit cheaper, about $400 but I wasn't too sure, had an off feeling about them too. Extended Homes was the most expensive, however, the service I received from Rachel made me feel so confident. To me, because of her reassuring us and the way she helped us every step of the way... she even told us not to do a few things, made me feel like she truly wants us to be happy, and not in it to make more money. Going with them before the completed look gave me peace of mind. The results.. I couldn't ask for more! Thank you Rachel and her team for the beautiful kitchen!

When we started, receptionist said she'd check in with the contractor about his schedule. Approximately "2weeks" for install, but she "will call in a week" to let us know. *crickets*. Unless you call, you will NOT get a call back. When we called to follow up, we were told "well, we're very busy" and they still needed to check with the contractor's schedule. Ok.. understandable, but as a business they need to communicate and update the customer especially if they've paid their deposit. It also doesn't take a contractor 2-3weeks to look at their schedule. 5minutes maybe, but not 2 weeks. When we finally got a call back about install date, there was once again no clear communication. "Likely Friday" is what we were told but by Thursday 4pm, we had gotten no call about install so we followed up again to be told "likely Saturday." Then it was changed to Monday.. in the end we didn't get the install until a week later from the date they gave us. Install was meh. More like a quick job they wanted to finish and get out of. Part of the stone was not polished, terrible cutting job to our cabinets that isn't a straight cut but jagged, and our stone was chipped during the install. It was patched, but it's noticeable. Save your money and the headache. We could've had this completed weeks ago with another company, but gave Nolen's the benefit of the doubt and continued with them. I'm not sure how they're in business because the communication is almost non existent. Would I recommend them to a friend or family? Absolutely not. We were told they'd come back to polish the stone, but getting the install was so difficult to schedule so I'm not sure how soon the job will get done this time around.

Due to the cabinets also being white the white tile was just TOO much along with the stainless appliances. Their system of using digital cameras to measure the existing counters resulted in just 3 days to remove the ceramic tile and install new counters in the kitchen and dining room, which was a large square footage. The result was amazing and down time was minimal. When we bought an older home in Tigard in 2013 I gutted the kitchen down to studs and rearranged it. We installed all new cabinets and Crowleys supplied a type of stone that made the new kitchen a showpiece of the remodeled home. Again their work was amazing and still perfect and they supplied a stainless faucet as a convenience to us. I can recommend Crowleys for anytype of granite or kitchen stone heartily.

Crowleys fab'd all material for backsplash except they went thicker on my kitchen behind the sink pieces. Three 23 year olds came and installed. Nothing special on the work. Now it's too thick, all others look good but for some reason it seemed like they were too lazy to cut the kitchen backsplash correctly. And if they tell you it's because of the length, and it's fragile, then cut more pieces and bond them together! Duh. Also, when I called to buy back my remnant, was absolutely treated like garbage from the gal who answered. Apparently, I put extra work on her by asking her to run out to the back and give me a quote, then they wanted a delivery charge to make a special trip, oh BTW, they had to make a special trip anyway to give me my 24"x3" piece. Garbage company,, do your self a favor and look around, plenty more places of quality to choose from. Never again.
