He was obviously in a rush - none of the tiles are cut straight, he spilled grout and mortar on the tiles that he didn't clean up so it's dried on and won't come off, tiles are not sloped properly so water pools and doesn't drain properly. When we first noticed there was an issue and brought it up to him he yelled at my husband and said he was just going to walk away with our money and not complete our shower (my husband simply asked him to fix the issue and wasn't rude and we were floored at the extremely harsh response we got). He was the one who built the shower walls and tried to blame the crooked tiles on the walls that they built!!! Then when we noticed the water pooling on the shower floor his wife let it slip that he never water checked the pan (that he built) before tiling and then blamed usfor not asking them to water check the pan (I'm the customer, I shouldn't have to babysit and make sure they do their job!). We now have a non functional shower and will have to pay thousands to get it ripped out and redone. after several attempts to get them to fix it they flat refused and so we had to get a lawyer and we were going to try to use small claims court to try to recover our money so we could get the shower fixed but they've obviously been sued before (just look up their CCB number - I wish we would have done this, and you'll see they have several claims against them) and they requested a jury trial and counter sued us because We had originally wanted them to tile the shower and the fireplace but after the awful shower job we didn't want them to touch the fireplace so they were suing us for not letting them tile our fireplace. They created a water problem in our home and cost us thousands of dollars. We were having Sheetrock work done at the same time and even the Sheetrock guy (who was here working at the same time) was saying that it was the worst tile job he'd ever seen and mentioned that they built the shower all wrong. Crowleys fab'd all material for backsplash except they went thicker on my kitchen behind the sink pieces. Three 23 year olds came and installed. Nothing special on the work. Now it's too thick, all others look good but for some reason it seemed like they were too lazy to cut the kitchen backsplash correctly. And if they tell you it's because of the length, and it's fragile, then cut more pieces and bond them together! Duh. Also, when I called to buy back my remnant, was absolutely treated like garbage from the gal who answered. Apparently, I put extra work on her by asking her to run out to the back and give me a quote, then they wanted a delivery charge to make a special trip, oh BTW, they had to make a special trip anyway to give me my 24"x3" piece. Garbage company,, do your self a favor and look around, plenty more places of quality to choose from. Never again.

After reading all the…read more5-star reviews (which influenced my decision to go with this company), I am baffled by the terrifically poor wall painting job Christine's painting contractor provided for us. That, on top of his over the top rudeness to myself and my spouse, just made this job one of the most unpleasant home improvement projects we have done. We had to have the painter return (which was the last thing we wanted) and Christine to rectify the numerous painting errors. He, once again, wouldn't even acknowledge us. Yes, there was a language barrier, but he never once greeted us when coming into our home, rushed through the job (he got "done" two days ahead of schedule) and did one of the messiest wall painting jobs I've seen. Yes, the cabinets look nice, but with all the cabinet refinishing companies out there one would think the finished job should be close to perfect. The owner never checked with us during the job and when we started to express our displeasure towards the end, she offered numerous excuses, defending her painter. We do have a lg Pride flag on our house and we are thinking perhaps the painter was homophobic. We don't readily go to that, but this guy's attitude stumped us. Christine did correct the problems but overall, esp with the amount of $ we spent, we highly regret not going with a different company.

We brought it up to the General Mgr and he said he would add it, but he never did. He said he had forgotten to order the vinyl, so he suggested we pick it up, and we bought some at Lowes 2 days before the install. When the installers came they said they hadn't been told about the vinyl and wouldn't have time. When I called the General Mgr about it he blamed us for not communicating and suggested we were trying to get work for free. Now we will have to find someone to install the vinyl. I won't work with them again. It was a bad experience.
