Chopped salad - a variety of mixed greens and veggies well chopped. Nicely prepared. Blackened Mahi Mahi Tacos - 3 tacos with large chunks of fresh Mahi Mahi. The interior is bright and contemporary with a farmhouse vibe. Plus plenty of perfectly positioned screens to watch your favorite game. The service was on point for the most part. Our server was great but I think he was working too many tables bye himself so we kinda missed the opportunity to order a second round of drinks. We are definitely adding Black Rabbit to our regular rotation. Give it a try.

We got wings, which were delicious, but I'm so sorry to say, but we didn't love the food overall. With the steak dinner we got, the steak was over cooked and the fries tasted like burnt oil. The pizza also tasted like cardboard with sauce on it and the caesar salad tasted solely like anchovies. I really wanted to love the place and I do for the happy hour and drinks, and I would come back to try it again & order a burger/wrap, but I left a bit disappointed.

Good food for a local bar, friendly service. Just don't come hangry!…read more This seems to be a hangout for regulars chatting at the bar, with a small menu of appetizers, burgers and sandwiches. We came on a Friday evening, tired and hungry, so waiting for food wasn't something we wanted. But wait we did. However, when we eventually got our food, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the burger patty, and the grilled cheese accompaniment to the tomato bisque (especially since they said there was no more of the chili I ordered). The staff came over several times to check in which was appreciated. The food and service saved the experience for us! Prices were also reasonable. They have outdoor seating as well, which is where most people chose. If they were a more well-run establishment they could take this to the next level. Parking is around the corner of the Characters restaurant and seems to be plentiful.

The chicken/potato dumpling is stellar. The perfect combination of carrots and vegetables and truly a well thought out, elevated dish. *Flank steak dish with poutine was alright. Good for what it was. *Food took 40 minutes to come out, which is a long time when you didn't order appetizers. Waitress made eye contact and realized we weren't served, but didn't approach us to check-in intentionally because she could tell there was a delay. The delay would make sense if it weren't for the fact that we got in as soon as the restaurant opened, on a weekday. Anyway, the chicken potato dumpling dish is the saver of this review.
