    Cold Noodles w/ sesame sauce

A hole in the wall! It reminds me of an old Taco Bell turned into a new restaurant that can serve up some GOOODDD food! We ordered 6 dishes between 5 people and it was priced well and delicious! The workers were super friendly. All you do is go up to their counter, order and pay, and you can have a seat and they can serve you or you can take to go. I'd definitely order the chili stir fry chicken, house special beef, and cold noodles with sesame sauce again!

I'm for California/San Gabriel Valley (SGV) area and if you know you know..some of the best Asian food are there, BUT Kitchen 95 can definitely compete against any in SGV! The food was amazing and run by a family! Love my family restaurant! Home made food, can't go wrong for me! Anytime I'm in St Louis is a must for me!

I have had this business in my collections for so long. I was so excited to eat there and setup a girls dinner with a bestie. We arrived and found a seat in the dining room. We quickly realized it is walk up ordering. We went to the counter and were advised, you have to order online. Okay, so we did that. No opportunity to ask questions, etc as there is no one available. We both received notifications that our food would be ready in 20 mins. We waited. And waited. We watched very little food come out (there were people walking in for to go orders). An hour passed before our food was available. We had ordered an appetizer thinking it'd come out first... it did not. This alone was not ideal... and also frustrating. The food itself was very good. We enjoyed it and enjoyed the special deals they had available that included a drink with the meal. Overall this is a one person business. By that I mean, there is one person cooking and rushing orders out. Her child does help get to go orders ready etc. but is not cooking, etc. I'd love to support more and make this business successful, but what they really need is staff to keep everything going and allow orders to come out more quickly.

We ordered a lot to go, it was a little bit of a wait but understandable because they only two people working in the kitchen. They are such nice people and the food is amazing so it's worth the wait!!!! I loved everything. The noodle and braised pork rice is so delicious. Parking is free and plenty of spaces at the location so I definitely recommend this place and everyone should check it out! It's a hidden gem!

This was a take out order and I was so happy with my decision. Food was delish! The 3 cup tofu was flavorful and the pieces of whole garlic in it just makes it even better. The Taiwanese chicken was crispy and juicy with the 5 spice powder on top was the perfect combo with the rice. I am ready to try out the other dishes they have to offer. Solid Taiwanese Food in St. Louis!

The chef at Kitchen 95 used to work at Tai Ke, our favorite Taiwanese restaurant in Saint Louis, so we were curious to try out Kitchen 95 which is a little further out of the way for us. It was totally worth it and we enjoyed some of the same menu items along with trying new entrees. The breaded pork chop was perfectly fried, and my in-laws LOVED the 3-cup chicken which comes with basil and is braised in a savory sweet sauce. Wuxi ribs were also perfectly tender and flavorful. My favorite comfort food is always lu rou fan (minced pork over rice) and Kitchen 95's version hit the spot with its saucy pork served over rice with a braised marinated egg on the side. And finally, we liked the beef noodle soup which we're always on the search for. It's less salty and a little more authentic than the beef noodle soups at Pan Asia and Tai Ke.

I saw this place pop up and decided to get a couple dishes for take out. I ordered the spicy popcorn chicken and the three cup chicken. I'd have to say the three cup chicken stuck out more in terms of flavor. The chicken was super tender and flavorful with lots of basil and garlic in a rich sauce. The popcorn chicken was crunchy and the spicy mayo perfectly complemented it. I would've liked more seasoning on it because there was only a hint of it on the popcorn chicken. Overall, great meal and I'd definitely eat here again!

    General Tso combo box

Don't sleep on kitchen 95! The food was absolutely amazing. The dumplings were my favorite. They had just the right amount of heat. I got the general tso combo box and everything was fresh and bomb. The restaurant itself is pretty small, our group of 8 took the majority of seating (there were about two or three other tables). The portions were a little smaller than we are used to, but the quality of food is outstanding. The chef also came out to check on how we liked everything after and was super friendly. Extra bonus there is a cooler where you can get different flavored sodas from different parts of the world. The apple soda was delish.

    All gone!!! Super delicious!

Honestly, the 2 soups I tried the other night are still on my mind and I am trying to figure out how to have them again! How can I re-create them? How can I purchase a gallon of them? I cannot wait for the next pop up! When we went to The Vandy the other night for some cocktails, we knew that Soul Soup would be on the scene serving up 2 different soups for us to try (The High Life and Thai Me Up). The menu was posted on Angie's Insta page a few days in advance of the pop up (see photo of the menu) and I just knew we had to try them both! When we arrived and placed our cocktail orders, we also asked for a bowl of each of the soups to try and when they were brought out the table, they were piping hot and smelled so good! I was happy to know that rather than adding in the bacon to the High Life, they could serve it on the side so that my dining partner could enjoy the bacon while I just wanted to enjoy the soup with the pretzel bites no bacon! Two bowls of soup was a perfect amount for the 2 of us to share and when we were finished, Angie came out of the kitchen to meet some of the customers - it was so nice to meet Angie and she is seriously so friendly! I will keep my eyes peeled to her Insta to see when and where she will be next and you should too! It's soup season and if you want some of the best soup in STL, this is the place to find!

It's a great place for friends or family or alone too. They to takeout as well or order delivery. The ingredient selection is really impressive and very vegetarian friendly. Everything looked fresh and they refill often. There are also lots of soup base options to choose from plus a stir fry option if you want to mix it up. The make your own sauce station is a great touch too. The staff works incredibly fast at turning tables and keeping everything clean. They only have one bathroom (it's clean) so just be aware for wait times. They also give you one free rice bowl which is a small but good bonus. There's a good amount of seating though I've heard the line goes out the door on weekends. Overall I really loved this place and I am already looking forward to coming back.

This was my first experience at a hot pot by the pound restaurant. I've only been to all you can…read moreeat hot pot restaurants, so I was excited to try this place out. Apparently, I wasn't the only one because this place got packed by 6p on a weekday! The line was out the door. It can be a little confusing for a first time goer as you enter the place and grab a bowl to select the ingredients you want to eat. The minimum weight that you have to buy is 0.9 lbs, but you really won't know how much your bowl weighs until you get up to the cashier and put it on the scale. My bowl was underweight my first time through, so I went back to grab more ingredients. If I had to guess the minimum cost for a 0.9 lb bowl, it's probably about $16, which is a pretty good price for a hot pot. My bowl weighed about 0.97 and it was way more than I could comfortably eat. The next decision you have to make after you have selected your ingredients is the base and spicy level. I went with #1 Oil splash spicy soup at medium spice level. Now, I enjoy spicy foods, but this was at the upper limit of enjoyability. Although tasty, I think the oil in the broth got to be too much and I will want to try a different base next time. After you pay for your food, you get a number which you take to a table of your choosing and wait for your bowl to come out (they cook it for you). There is a drinking water station next to the free rice station, which was around the corner from the complimentary pickled vegetable station. Overall, positive experience and I would return for more. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2026

The amount you receive for the price though is unfortunate. A cup of soup seems to be measured in dry cups which is about 3/4 of a liquid cup. One of the soups was also served in the same container as the chicken salad which seemed odd. The chicken salad portions, which are stated as 2-3 people, are most certainly not and very confusing. But the rating was based on the service. I ordered online so human contact was minimal but couldn't have gone worse. I had a pickup time and arrived right on time. I waited patiently as a customer ahead of me struggled with an employee as he ordered with rewards. After he completed his order, I was left standing as staff walked around and chatted with each other. Then they returned to the cash register and were discussing something amongst themselves. After what I imagine to be 5-10 minutes, an employee finally asked if I needed something. I said "I placed an online order to be picked up 10 minutes ago." The employee responded that they thought I had already received my food. Why would anyone be standing at the counter waiting? For assistance, obviously. It shouldn't matter if someone had received their food already or not. In my case, I had not. But if a customer is standing at the counter, please acknowledge them. I wont be back.

I received the order within 10 minutes, so quite quick service. While Viet Pho makes reasonable Vietnamese food facsimiles, it just a little off from being genuine. For example, the $15.50 Vermicelli Bun needed some mint leaves to make it more authentic. The pork wasn't exactly char grilled. The egg roll was a little too mushy. Though, they did include peanuts, onions, lettuce, carrots, sprouts and fish sauce. Overall, this dish tasted good despite the missing ingredients. 3.5 out of 5 stars. The $6.25 Spring Rolls x2 were reasonably authentic, but were rolled too loosely. Once bit into, most of the interior ingredients fell out, making it rather difficult to dip into the included sauce without the entire roll falling apart. Also, the authenticity of this sauce was odd. Instead of being a standard peanut sauce, it tasted like it was made with bananas and had an odd flavor profile. This appetizer tasted quite good despite these issues. 3 out of 5 stars also. The $8.25 three layer bean drink dessert is also a good facsimile, but misses the mark in some places. The red beans used should have been sweetened, but were not. The beans used in this drink were large red kidney beans when smaller sweet red beans are typically used in more authentic versions. These red beans even seemed salted. I'd have been fine with kidney beans if they had been sweetened. The bean, coconut, ice, and jelly flavor of the drink dessert was fine overall. 4 out of 5 stars. The meal was overall filling, but I've certainly had better. For the prices and the missed ingredients, it's just not authentic enough. I can't speak for their Pho soups, only these items above. Would I visit again? Yeah, but only if I had a strong craving for Bun. I will visit again and try their soups. Look for that updated review in the future.
