Obviously, you're on an island...this is a seasonal business...prices are inflated. That being said, if there's something you need while you're on the island...you'll probably find it here. The local restaurant was closed on a day the web said it was open, so I took the 20 minute walk east to Ocean Beach and easily found the store. Don't bother with the $$$ water taxi, or the super sandy mid-road (with mini-ponds to go through after rain!) It is a lovely walk on the beach. Fruits, snacks, drinks and a really friendly staff made my lunch hunt easy. I was not immediately interested in the deli, but that was more about not wanting to carry a sandwich around on a hot day. *Tip: I would bring a plastic bag. My paper bag tore on the way back and seagulls snagged some of my snacks

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach and ordered for the 3 of us: a chicken sandwich, Seaview grilled cheese sandwich, pickle, macaroni salad, and antipasto salad. Sandwiches were ok, not great, Mac salad was pretty bland, antipasto salad was way too salty. Pickle was the best part of the lunch. The açaí bowls looked popular, though. No seating available, but we walked down to the bay, took a right, and ate on a bench overlooking the bay.

Stopped in this morning, and was going to get some fruit, but their selection was pretty meager, so figured I'd wait and go to the Farmers Market today (Thursday) at 9 am. I did pick up a cinnamon roll (pretty good, but very sweet, more like a donut) and a chocolate croissant (not so good; very dense; not flaky). Their website says they are open daily 7 am - 5 pm, but are often open til 8 pm or later. Note: Yelp had listed the place as closed, but it's definitely open. I submitted the change to the Yelp team.

After I accidentally dropped an item, he scolded me, saying, "That's why we have shopping carts." This was completely unwarranted.
