I was die hard day to day; literally everyday. But i came to buy my items and the cashier made an mistake between the regular food and had to move some items that were from ebt and the regular food. Let me tell you the manager you have Marissa is completely unprofessional she could not figure it out and pulled another manager sharron to get it together. The store never has enough cashiers. It doesn't matter what time of day or which day of the week that you are coming in they will not have enough cashiers. There is one cashier to service the whole entire store. We are forfeiting humanity for automation. Perhaps the future is zero human contact. I am not here for it. read more

At the present time we are all trying to do the right thing and stay as safe as possible. So since we are trying not to go into the stores we decided to try the Peapod delivery service . I was able to receive free delivery and a $20 discount plus 60 days of free delivery! At this crazy time it certainly has come in handy .My husband and I are high risk and are basically staying put ! It wasn't easy getting a delivery time but you just have to keep trying . You can go back into your order and add things at any time . The website is extremely easy to navigate ! I put my order in about 3 weeks ago and got my delivery this past Sunday . Wow , I'm so happy we did this ! Pretty much everything I ordered I got . They texted me on the things I wasn't going to receive and some things were substituted. That was fine with me ! The delivery guy ,George ,was so , so friendly and polite! . He dropped my items at my door . I appreciate that he is out there doing a great job ! I just placed my next order this morning ! It's due in about 2 weeks . I don't know why I've never reviewed them before, but unfortunately I'm a regular customer here. And that's only because there's no other supermarket chain right here in East Islip. If there was this place would probably go out of business. They are rationing the bags, the cashiers have a horrible attitude, there's constant shortages if you ask for bags they scold you to make sure you pay for them even though you always do. This place is poorly managed and it shows they're only relying on the fact that there's no other game in town. Please somebody else open another supermarket that we can all go to it, so many of us complain about the store in this neighborhood. Today was the last straw with the rationing of the paper bags for $.10. The cashier was trying to only give me two bags as if it was charity! She actually said "that's all I can spare"!!!! WTF did she think everyone is begging for a handout? I'm paying for them and I need them I just spent $130. Do you think the $.40 for the four paper bags was going to kill me? They make cakes on order, licensed design & also customized, 7 inch round is $16.99, 1/4 sheet rectangle is &20.99, & pack of 12 cupcakes is $8.99 or in that range. Cupcakes can be half vanilla & half chocolate. Bakery opens early 7 am & closes early around 4:30. Reasonable prices & great service! read more

Store is nice. But the deli is the worst run operation and a mere step above the DMV if that means anything. You could be here for an hour to get one thing, it doesn't matter what time of day. Bought my last rotisserie chicken from Stop & Shop -- now the price is up to $7.99 each...and so small, surely this was a chick and not a whole chicken! The chicken has gotten smaller and the price has gone up exponentially...better off at BJs or Costco for a rotisserie chicken! read more

Atrocious. That is the word used to describe the conditions that this place is in. Under new management apparently and whoever it is is really ruining the place. I can't get even stop the get lunch for my kids to go back to school because the shelves were empty, deli was out of stock of almost everything and these poor employees are dealing with the fury of all the upset and complaining customers. What manager cancels several stock orders and leaves their employees dealing with this catastrophe. I refuse to shop here anymore I want my east islip stop and shop back. What a shame read more

Every time, without fail, that I shop here there's some problem. Whether it's small like I ask for my meat thin cut and get it thick cut, or a big issue like I ask to have the shrimp deshelled tail-off to get home and put the shrimp in the pot and have to pull it out because it wasn't cleaned, there's a problem. The store is filthy. Not things such as they're packing out and there's boxes, that I understand. I mean dirty floors, shelves, etc. I wish there was another supermarket close by. There is The Village Market, but they don't have as wide a selection of cold cuts, but they're so much better and I will go there over this Stop n Shop most times. All in all, this place just sucks. This store is lit. Only one thing missing, PLAY LUV IS RAGE 2 ON THE SPEAKERS! The customers would LOVE to hear my music on the speakers while shopping. Not only is my music hype, but it is also emotional and full of meaning. That being said, Stop and Shop is the best grocery store in my local town. Clean and large, a step up from Bay Shore. This store has the scan as you shop guns. The organic/natural section is a full one-sided aisle running along side the produce section. This is very convenient and I often just have to hit up this one area and head out. read more

Great modern-ish resign of the produce area. Organic veggies and fruits now have their own areas. I finally found the bakery! It's in the front of the store in the right hand corner. They have individual rolls, muffins, donuts, and I believe bagels. Also love the machine where you can order your deli meat and they announce it over the loud speakers when it's ready for pick up. Carts are kept outside near the left entrance. I don't believe there are any near the right side entrance. read more

This god awful place has me begging for help. I tried to show off my large infatuated finger to the staff after punching the stupid robot that terrorizes the kids and seniors, and no one wanted to kiss it to make it feel better, which made me cry. I one time had to pee in the bakery department because the bathrooms were empty. F***king DISGUSTING. I am outraged with the outcome of the store. 5+5 is what I have to say. This place just always seems to have exactly what I need extremely low price. Working as a chef in the kitchen myself I can really appreciate that their stuff is always really fresh and always well-maintained. The staff and the stocking close are usually really friendly as opposed to other places and the cashiers are always happy to inform you about discounts. read more

The store in East Islip has been under construction which made finding items a little more difficult. Now that they are all done the store looks great! In the mail I received a free reusable bag with a note thanking me for still shopping at the store during the construction. Small gestures go a long way! read more

I have been shopping at the location when it was Edwards. I just got back after trying to buy a bunch of items including NyQuil at the self help register. It said I had to pay the cashier but the worker in the area had no idea what to do. She tried to flag down a manager. The young tall thin male manager looked straight at her and just walked into an office. Finally I had to wait on a regular line to pay behind two people with full groceries. By the time I paid I could've been home. Terrible customer service today! read more
