And I've been too many of them. What makes this one special is the attention to detail and the very personal customer service. The studio is extremely clean, I mean, impeccably. All of the towels smell fresh, all of the floors are freshly polished. Everything smells delightful. The sauna is top notch. It has a large infrared light bar, but it also has very strong, infrared light around the sauna otherwise, and on the ceiling of the sauna as well. and this one, you are also able to adjust it to other types of light such as blue, green, Amber, etc.You are also to control your own levels of heat. There is a television with prepaid Amazon prime channels. The Bluetooth speaker inside the sauna is loud and crisp, and of course you can control the levels and channels with the remote. The gentleman who helped me is named Ken. He gave me a nice tour of the studio upon arrival, and then showed me how to operate everything. He was extremely helpful and kind.Another nice thing is this sauna is very large. I was literally able to stretch out and recline. I think this will be my go to infrared sauna spot.

But even before I get to the class, the entry entryway and the vibe of the whole place is off because it's so worn out. i'm scared the fabric will fall off the hook and it's extremely smelly and overall unstable and worn out looking- not sure if i can trust the hanging to support me but that's the attorney in me talking. everything i see seems like a liability, especially their old hooks and the way the instructor walks around with a huge ladder in a crowded class. Next the class itself- instructor spent majority of the time making us stretch and adjusting our fabric. it was such a waste of time. don't do it if you're trying to get a workout in.

One of the very few professional stretching/contortion classes available in the LA area. If you want to get more flexible, these instructors know how to safely build up those muscles so that you can actively and correctly increase your body's mobility and range of movement. The best part is that you don't have to start off being flexible at all. They work with your body to adjust and modify exercises so that you're still working out the intended muscle group. You never need to bring your own mat, resistance bands, nor yoga strap because they provide everything for you. Their equipment is always clean because they provide spray bottles and handcloths for you to wipe everything down at the end. Even though their physical location is temporarily closed due to the "Safer at Home" order, they're still streaming online group classes through Zoom for only $8.99! I've been taking their "Intro to Contortion" and "Strength and Conditioning" classes to (at least marginally) maintain my flexibility and strength for aerial silks. When I started looking into pole dancing/fitness at the time, I came across Allure. I was very excited to find a fun way to exercise and take the edge off of stressful work. I would take a minimum of 3 classes a week. I also trained a bit of MMA so mixing it up with pole dancing was a great combination for me. I started as a beginner and was working my way up. The employees were amazing, friendly and fun. They always made sure that everybody was doing good and comfortable with the next step. They would always compliment me on how quickly I would learn and how well I could move. One of the ladies there even said that I should work for them teaching the beginners class, which I would have been up to. Unfortunately, I moved away and I just never could find a place like this again. To makes matters worse for myself, I moved again and live in a small town that doesn't offer it, a bit closed minded as well. If I was as good as the instructors, i would open one here! If I ever was to move back to LA, this is the place I would definitely sign up for again. I highly recommend if you're looking for a fun, sexy and different approach to fitness.

Trippy's energy radiates through a screen and I was immediately interested in being coached by him. I had my first lesson last night and WOW!!!!! I left the studio so giddy and excited. I am TERRIBLE at pole but it has become so addicting for me and trippy made me feel so comfortable about my skill level and allowed me to feel safe in my space. I spoke with the owner in regard to the pacing of the class and how it did not leave enough time…read morerealistically for questions as well as how I was unable to learn because of the pace and jammed content into one routine (beginners 1/2 class mind you). Shonda (the instructor) did offer opportunities for questions, BUT although some of us were confused, if we stopped to ask questions every time we learned something new, realistically we wouldn't have gotten through the routine or the rest of the routine was going to be taught faster so that we would be able to get through it. I realize I am not the only student in the room so it's not fair of me to ask questions all throughout because that hinders everyone's experience and ability to learn the entire dance. Just being mindful. The owner tried giving me an emotional lesson that I should not fear to ask questions... totally wasn't hearing the constructive criticism and was blaming it on my inability to ask questions apparently. I'm open to trying a new instructor but have little hope in this establishment if that also does not go well.

Other than being an amazing choreographer, dancer, and teacher, she has done so much to help with my self esteem. She teaches you to embrace yourself no matter what shape or size. She recognizes each of us may have a different ability level and is more than happy to help make modifications to accommodate those that can't do it all.
