We swung by Kirt's for Saturday night milkshakes and parked in a spot and pressed the call button. An attendant came to us and we placed our order: a vanilla milkshake, a strawberry milkshake, a root beer milkshake and an order of onion rings. We waited about 10 minutes for our order and the milkshakes were huge! The 16oz milkshakes were filled to the brim and the onion rings were hot and fresh. The onion rings could have used a little salt but overall, everything was super tasty! read more

I drove completely out of my way to come here to enjoy a pastrami burger, except they were completely out of pastrami. I was not bummed for very long because the waitress who served me, Cecily, was the only decent person that I met in Ogden. She even brought my dog a treat. Give this girl a raise and the best shifts possible. I ordered the chocolate malt with banana milkshake, and it was delicious. However, I believe they forgot the malt powder. I still don't care. Great experience. read more

Stopped by for lunch, it's been ages since I've had this food. It was delicious as always, tried something new. I got the Turkey Burger with the fresh cut Cajun fries, definitely will order again in the future, sandwich was perfectly seasoned and the fries were very good. The customer service was great too which is hard to come by these days, after I ordered I mentioned I don't have my wallet with me and she let me know that they offer Venmo as an alternative since they don't have Apple Pay. Food came out super quick nice and warm! read more

We ordered and sat for 30 minutes, asking twice about our food. Then the lights went out, my partner went in to ask and they said they hadn't even started our food. Won't EVER try to eat her again. read more

Kirt's Drive-In - Closed this place down tonight- retro cool. - Burgers Near Me - North Ogden, Utah

Placed a to go order tonight that took forever!!! We were told that they received a large order online and that's why they were so slow. Honestly to me it just looked like a bunch of kids playing inside. Must have been online because we were the only ones there. Once we got home everything was burnt and wrong.. 50 bucks straight into the trash...really dropped the ball tonight! read more

This is a nice small old fashion drive in diner complete with car hops. Look at the menu, decide what you want, then press the button. A car hop shows up and takes your order. This time I ordered the pastrami burger and my wife ordered their fish and chips. My burger was loaded with sliced pastrami and was very good. The burgers are Hal pound so very filling. My wife enjoyed her fish and really liked the fries. We will be going back often. read more

Decent food, not notable but I didn't hate it. The fries weren't cold but they were not warm. My Burger did not have a lot of flavor. The big reason I am giving a one star is the 40+ minute wait. I fell asleep on the table because I was already tired and had the time from that wait to nap. The waitress didn't even comment or apologize about the wait. Very minimal service. Will not come here again. read more

The service is great here. I love their Dr. Pepper. My server's name was Ella, and she made sure I got wonderful service. I'll have to come back soon. read more

i love kirts but every single time me and my wife eat here they make food wrong and we remind and asked them nicely to make sure it is not wrong. I feel like nobody cares seriously there are a lot teenagers and this should be a great opportunity to learn but it is very disappointing waiting almost 30 minutes for your food to be made wrong 99 percent of the time. I HOPE THE MANAGER SEE THIS THIS. anytime we wanna go I say no because they make it wrong. and it happens and happens again. We repeat and repeat and even say food was not made correctly the last time. Time and date 6:50 pm 9/20/24 read more

On the positive side, I got to spend 45 minutes of quality time with my teenage daughter. On the negative side, I finally got cold, stale fries and a burger on a stale bun after waiting 45 minutes. We appreciate the memorable experience, but wish it would have been a plus instead of a negative. We've both learned to NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN!! read more

I love Kirts. Great people, the chili fries are SOOOOOOOO yummy. Keep up the good work guys! So sad that I haven't seen Payge in while, she was so nice and quick with the service! But Last time I went I got served by a girl with a very bad attitude. Haven't been back since read more

It's been a few years since I have checked in on Kirt's and happy to report they are still going strong and doing what they do. The nostalgia of a drive-in is what brings you here. Very simple menu with 8-10 burger options, a fish basket, chicken strips, and a list of shakes you can order. The specialty burgers aren't that special and are the bleu bacon, cowboy, pastrami, etc, varieties. Personally I will stick with the bacon cheeseburger because the specialties just aren't that great. Fries are okay, not crispy and nothing too fancy. The onion rings, however, are where it is AT! Excellent onion rings. Kirt's is close, it is nice to order / eat in your car, and it has some nostalgia credit. You won't get the best meal of your life but it will be good. read more

I love kirks hamburgers. They are delicious, but it is quite expensive. 12 dollars for meal should include a free fry sauce. They don't give you a ton of fries either. You have to pay 50 cents to get the fry sauce or no sauce at all. It's actually keeping me from coming back. read more

Food is your drive in go to. Order a burger, hot dog and corn dog. The food was all good. No complaints whatsoever. The wait was a bit long they offered a shake for the inconvenience. Although I didn't take it the fact that it was offered was great. I really didn't even notice it was long actually. Just go and give it a try. read more

We decided to stop in here because it's been years since either my wife and I had been here. The menu is small which is kind of nice and I do like you do not even need to get out of the car to order or to eat. My wife ordered the bleu burger and I went with the pastrami burger meal. I did the regular fries and a lime Ricky. I asked if the onions on the burger were raw or grilled and the lady said they were grilled, they are raw and I'm not sure if you have to ask for grilled ones. Luckily when I opened my burger for inspection all the onions fell out. Good for me because I'm not a fan of raw onions. The burgers were a bit small for the bun size so the edges were a bit dry. The burger patties themselves were good I thought and were good well. The pastrami was lacking though. I'd just order a cheese burger next time and skip the extra money you pay for the other burgers. The fries were not crispy but it could be because we ate at home. Overall Kirt's is a good place to go to grab a burger but stick to the basics when ordering. read more

Today was the first time we have gone in two years solely because we didn't have a good experience last time. We went to get a glacier and their machine was out so we decided to just grab dinner there. I had the fish and chips and they were beyond way too greasy. My husband had the bacon burger and it was inedible, way too salty. We can usually handle a little bit of salt but this was the most saltiest thing my husband and I have ever tasted. $40 bucks and threw 75% of it away. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. We ordered our food and had to repeat our order no less than 5 times to the waitress. She then took our payment (card) and it took 15+ minutes to get it back. We then waited 30 minutes for our food and it was all wrong and cold. We asked for a manager and she said they'd remake our burgers and reheat our fries. We at this time asked for a refunds which was granted. However they couldn't figure out how to refund on the card and handed us cash. I will never go here again there was jot a single positive thing about our experience here. read more

Kirt's is kinda nostalgic to me as my grandparents lived up the street so I was excited to stop for a quick lunch time bite. I pulled up and used the 1980 call button to order. Memories. The waitress on the other end of the call button answered me. I ordered three hamburgers, one cheeseburger an order of fries, onion rings and a soft drink. This was very confusing and there were many long pauses. I did appreciate that she took the time to read back my order to ensure its correctness. We waited for what seemed like a long time for that order.... The waitress came to the car window with our items and walked back with my card for payment. When she came back she handed me my straw slowly through the window and said, "Here's your straw. It fell on the ground." Fortunately it was wrapped..... We took the burgers to our friends. Which is maybe 3 miles away at the most. Pulled the burgers from their bag. They were cold, and kinda smashed. No toppings but lettuce and fry sauce. The fries/onion rings were tasty but also cold.... I wouldn't think everything would get cold upon transport. But ‍ Two stars for memory sake and a waitress who was sure I got my straw. If Kirt's wants to survive... Some changes must be made. read more

Poor service, poor food, food is not fresh most the time, it's not cooked right and the prices are way too high for what they're serving.

***UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP*** Husband and I went to Kirts because we haven't been there since we moved a year ago. We immediately noticed things were different. They come up to you immediately and take your order, so you don't get to use the buzzer speaker (best part about the old Kirts). I'm not docking it because of that, but because our order was wrong. My husband always orders the #2 the bacon burger and he got a double cheeseburger instead. Our drinks were full of pure ice instead of drink and my husbands drink was sticky and had dripping Coke on the side with the lid not put on all the way. Overall it was okay, just not the old Kirts we remember. read more

The food is good, the car service is quaint, and the cost is decent. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that it's a little pricey for the size of burger you get. It's about the same size as the chain burger stores, but more money. You get the quality and the care, but you expect more when you're spending your money. Either way it boils down to this: I'd recommend it; I'd go back. read more

Shakes were good...not $7 for a small good. Prices were not accurate on their menu. Menu said $5.29.

Our family just moved to a North Ogden. We are always looking for a new place to eat. My daughter and I stopped here yesterday for lunch. I got a foot long hotdog and fries... my daughter got the chicken tenders. It was delicious! The hot dog bun was toasted and so good! Tonight my husband wanted to try it. So he stopped on his way home. He got the boys all burgers and fries. He said hands down "best burger he's had in a long time". We are always happy to find new delicious places. We have a new favorite place! read more

Mushy fish and chips, tiny chips that come with them have to be leftover at the factory. None of this would be terrible if the cost wasn't the highest in Ogden. read more

Kirt's Family Drive Inn has been serving up hamburgers, fries and shakes for MANY years. Although it hasn't always been known as Kirt's, this old fashioned diner has been around since the 1950s. They have drive-up lanes out front and a small indoor seating area as well. There's lots of neon outside the building and with the carhops running back and forth to the cars it has a great nostalgic feel. But how was the food? It was pretty good actually. My bacon cheeseburger was well prepared and tasted great. My mom had some good fish and chips. Unfortunately the fries weren't very good, but maybe they weren't fresh... I'm not sure. And for desert my Oreo shake was yummy! If you're in the mood for a burger and fries or feeling nostalgic, stop in at Kirt's and give it a try. read more

Went to Kirts, chose to sit inside. There is a sign outside that says come in and seat yourself. After about 10 minutes of no service I went up to the service window only to be told to go sit back down and someone would be out soon. Sat for about 10 after that before leaving. During this time they took a to go order and got them their order. The server looked right at us and STILL didn't help us. Please fix your service. read more
