The food is delicious. Super good food and also vegetarian but still sooo good. Usually only do takeout but always hot and fresh.

While strolling by Diana Downtown's outdoor patio, I noticed the tantalizing aromas of food being…read moreserved on the front patio. Smelling the aroma of a creamy butter chicken, and the scent of freshly steamed basmati rice wafting by, along with that baked bread smell of Naan, it sealed the deal to return here for a culinary adventure. At the front entrance is a chalkboard sign displaying their Daily Curry Features. We were greeted by a nice server named Isabelle who brought us menus and water. She was very sweet and personable, chatted with us and took our orders. We wanted to sample a bit of everything so we ordered one meat curry and three vegetarian curries which allowed us to try all of the Daily Curry Features. VEGETARIAN THALI comes with your choice of two daily vegetarian curry features, basmati rice, naan, daal & raita dressing....$18. For the vegetarian thali, we ordered the Romano bean, and our second choice was the red pepper zucchini. MEAT THALI comes with one meat curry feature, and your choice of daily vegetarian curry, basmati rice, naan, daal & raita dressing..... $19. We ordered one meat curry, Keema bhaji, and one vegetarian one, mushroom red pepper paneer. The African-style Daal was the most adventurous to our taste palates as it was extremely flavourful with fragrant aromatic spices. The vegetable curries were more subtle tasting and light. Thank you to the chefs, kitchen staff and server Isabelle for a great dinner.

I've come here twice and I haven't been disappointed yet…read more There's so many choices that it might be a bit overwhelming but everyone is very helpful with suggestions. If you want to try something new or if you want to stick by your old favourites, there's something for everyone. The first time I was here, I decided to try something new. I had the seitan platter which was the perfect introduction. The seitan was cooked in four different styles so it was great to see which type you like. The second time, I just had a seitan appetizer which looked like a good imitation of roasted duck but it had a smooth texture and it was flavoured well. Keep in mind that the portions after the appetizers are big. You can either share it or have some to yourself but regardless, there is a chance you might take some home. No complaints though. Both times I have ordered fried rice with different toppings that are mixed in with the rice. I love the way they make this because they don't cook it like other restaurants where they fry the rice and you feel bloated and heavy. Zen' drive is cooked perfectly so you don't taste that fried feeling and though you will get that filled feeling, you won't feel lethargic after. I also order tea both times. My recommendation is the rose tea. The teapot is so small and cute but you can smell the tea and it leaves you feeling relaxed. Side tidbit: the place is a legit house but they converted it into a restaurant. They kept some of the features like a fireplace that give it a cozy/homey feel. It is such a cute and ingenious way to go about a restaurant business.

A good spot if you're looking for something light, but flavorful and filling. The mushroom sticky…read morerice wrap is delicious, and I enjoyed the wonton soup as well. Taro was a bit underdone in the taro&stir-fried soy dish, but the sauce was good.
