Customer service was ok until he learned I was affiliated with small business that was an…read moreopportunity to sell multiple vehicles...then it leveled up. Awful customer service once you sign the papers. Actually as you sign the papers (it's digital) the finance woman had me create an account with password on her giant desk-sized keyboard. I figured it was something I would need to access in the future so chose a familiar password. I wish I hadn't because the woman watched my every keystroke like a hawk (can't be discrete on a desk-sized keyboard). I immediately assumed she was watching to ensure my password met the requirements but after a couple seconds it dawned on me she now has the password to my bank login and more...and I had just handed her every bit of person information needed for security checks, short of my thumbprint. Instead of email or print your documents they email you a password secure file. Well I wasn't able to open said zip file to access my necessary documents for registration and tax purposes a few days later. I tried calling. No response. I left a voicemail. No response. I was referred to an email after calling multiple times. No response. It took weeks (no exaggeration, granted I wasn't trying every day) to finally get in touch with someone who got back to me only to insist I go through the financing woman that processed my sale...which is where I started. It was finally through the text notifying my license plates had come in, where I was able to speak to someone that could get me some but not all of my document copies of the sale (was requesting only 2 pertinent documents) I can't imagine if I had to go through this place for actual servicing of my vehicle etc. never want to deal with them again.

Best experience at a dealership ever. Worked within my budget, made sure I got what I wanted. These…read moreguys were not pushy at all! I felt like it was good friends trying to help me get what I wanted. Talk to Larry and Sam. They have multiple lots to pull from. I went to Lakewood and they dropped what they were doing to run to Sumner and back to get the car I wanted at a price that was reasonable to me. I will be coming back to them when it's time to trade in.

South Tacoma Honda - This is the open lockbox, within reach of the entrance to the service department, right where ppl stand around. Code on door, never locked.

Calling to…read moremake an appointment was done by calling & arranging w an automated phone service, checking in was pretty easy. Kenji was the service advisor I worked with and was great; showing me their recommendations and service options. The dealership was nicely set up with their usual setup of seating, coffee/tea, and rental car options. They were fairly quick too, more than I anticipated on weekday morning. Will be back soon!

Absolute rip-off artists. DO NOT go here…read more The service desk staff are paid on commission, and they will "recommend" repairs that are not necessary. The technicians and mechanics in the back know what they're seeing. The service desk takes that information, decides what they can use, and repackages it into a message designed to create concern and get the customer to authorize additional work, even when no repair is actually needed. The techs/mechanics will contradict the lies of the service desk staff, who are sales guys, not tech/mechanics. It is dishonest, manipulative, and clearly designed to separate customers from their money. There is a reason they try to prevent the tech/mechanics from interacting with customers. It's YOUR car, you should have the right to speak to person who makes the observations and can speak about the issues. I have seen service desk staff completely tell a different story to a customer than what the tech/mechanic tells them. If you make the mistake of bringing your car here, ask the service desk these questions directly and firmly: 1. Is the repair you are recommending 100% necessary? 2. Is the part you are recommending I replace currently NOT functioning? 3. If I take my car to two independent mechanics, will they agree that this repair is necessary? (They will try to create concern saying another mechanic can provide the same type of warranty they can). 4. Have them put the problem, the recommended repair, and the reason you say it needs to be done in writing by way of a written quote. Then tell them you'll think about it and leave, provided the car is safe to drive. The only time I personally would authorize additional work on the spot is if they explicitly tell me the problem is critical and the vehicle is unsafe to drive. And even then, I would want them to put that statement in writing. If you push back, expect some line about Honda backing or warranting its work in ways an independent shop supposedly can't. Again, that's beside the point. It creates another concern they can use to manipulate the customer instead of answering the simple question: Does this part actually need to be replaced or not? They are highly commissioned. In my experience, they are dishonest. And there is a reason customers deal with commissioned service desk staff instead of being able to speak directly with the technicians and mechanics who actually inspected the vehicle. Do not blindly trust their recommendations. Get everything in writing. Take the quote somewhere else. Get a second opinion. Also, see how they respond when you ask to speak to the tech who works on your car. They have time to talk to the service desk, and the customer can easily be brought into that convo. I am going to give five stars as this dealership stuck by my side…read more I used the USAA application to find a vehicle. What I wanted was a Volvo XC90 as I enjoy the ride in Volvo's and did not need any fast talking person to talk me into any other type of purchase. I was pre approved so I thought this would be an easy purchase Bull. They told me what they could do left the room a couple of times and came back to a lower price acceptable to me and the man I married. USAA unfortunately did not. They spoke with me to discuss other options. Financing with another company was out of the question, no more hits on my Credit. It was one price or return the keys. I feel confidant in my decision to purchase a car from them. If you buy Used life isn't always that full bowl of cherries it's not like they sit down and say how can we screw them - not the feeling I got. Instead it wasn't horrible disappointing at times but that was not on them. They are suppliers guys and gals - don't be so negative go in with an open mind and that will be that.

I purchased a 2019 Sprinter van from Payless Auto Sales for my transportation business. Within a…read moreshort time after the purchase, the van developed serious engine problems that eventually required an engine replacement, costing me thousands of dollars and causing significant downtime for my business. After the failure, multiple mechanics identified issues that I believe existed before I purchased the vehicle. I also found a vehicle history record showing a fluid leak inspection shortly before the sale. Based on my experience, I believe these concerns should have been disclosed before I bought the van. I was disappointed with how my concerns were handled and felt I had to seek help from outside agencies while trying to resolve the situation. This experience created major financial stress and delayed the start of my business. My advice to anyone considering buying a vehicle here is to have it inspected by an independent mechanic before purchasing, carefully review the vehicle history, and keep copies of all paperwork. This review reflects my personal experience. "Very disappointing experience." "I cannot recommend this dealership based on my experience." "This purchase caused serious financial hardship for my business." "I wish I had obtained an independent inspection before buying." "Buyers should be extremely careful." "Do your own inspection before signing anything." "This is my honest personal experience." "I hope no one else goes through what I did." Very, very disappointing experience. I would not recommend anyone buy a vehicle from this dealership based on my personal experience.
