That's why my recent experience at this Walgreens stood out, but also why I feel this review needs to be balanced. We actually transferred our prescriptions here from Safeway a couple of months ago, hoping that a larger pharmacy would be more reliable when it comes to keeping medications in stock. At Safeway, we often found ourselves scrambling to locate another pharmacy because they simply didn't have our medications in stock. Unfortunately, even though we've only been at Walgreens a short time, it has still been a stressful experience. It's very difficult to get through by phone, and there have been multiple times where I've been on hold for 20 minutes only to have the call disconnected. Prescriptions are not always ready when expected, which adds to the stress. We've had moments where we're close to running out of a medication and it's still "in progress," leaving us rushing to the store at the last minute. There also seems to be some kind of disconnect between their fulfillment system and the pharmacy itself. To be fair, this doesn't seem unique to this location. Many pharmacies these days appear to be short staffed and dealing with medication shortages, and it's clear the people working there are doing their best under difficult circumstances. I truly don't believe these issues are the fault of the staff, but rather a reflection of how these companies are being run. That said, the reason I'm giving three stars instead of a lower rating is because of Grant, the pharmacist. He truly went above and beyond to help us with several prescriptions. He was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly kind and genuinely sympathetic. Instead of rushing through things, he took the time to really understand what we needed and jumped right in to help. It was such a refreshing experience and made a stressful situation so much easier. Grant is absolutely the shining light at this location and honestly the reason we're willing to stick around and hope things improve. His level of care and willingness to help is something you don't come across every day, and we're very grateful for him.

I said Ok, then 1:00? well no, they would be at lunch then! So then 2:00? aAt 3:30 there was still no text saying that they were ready so I just went down there. Guess what? They weren't ready!! My doctor wanted me to get these meds in my system ASAP - as it was important. So I'm here WAITING for them to be filled - mAubry 20 minutes. Good grief!!! This is on a Sunday too. No excuse for poorly run pharmacies and bad systems and processes. Makes you wonder why they felt compelled to put up this sign.

Most of the other aisles looked understocked as well, giving the store an overall sparse vibe. Only one employee was visible, working the cashier, and they didn't seem very enthused. But I get that, sometimes it's just one of those days. They still offered the usual services like photo printing and a pharmacy, so basic needs were covered. I can call or text for all my refill prescription needs. I receive a text from Clark's when my prescriptions are ready for pick up. The pharmacists listen to any concerns you may have on a new medication, and can offer a suggestion on how to communicate symptoms to share with your physician when a prescription might be too strong, and may need to be reduced in lower dose. Clark's has ordered some supplements for me in multiples, for a yearly supply, when I was unable to find them available online. All the individuals working at the Redmond location are professional, intelligent, super nice, and actively communicate with you, on any guidance or questions that may come up. I am grateful they have a location in Redmond, WA, not too far from where I live. Thank you all.

The scale of this pharmacy is the same as any other inside a grocery store, small but also tidy and neat off to one side. At this location, there is a large bin to deposit unwanted medications. There's also an automatic blood pressure measurement device. They do flu shots too. I typically find they are not too busy with short wait, so that's a plus. Parking is easy, underneath the store.

My experience at this store was always mostly just average... until my last few visits. I see they now have new management and quite a few new hires and it is already so much better! The newer young blonde Ms. in the photo department is always super nice and eager to help me, even when there is a line & its obvious she has multiple orders to fill she is never overwhelmed or rushes our interaction as I've experienced in the photo department before...she takes her time to help me with a smile on her face and a nice attitude. Im glad they have new management its obvious they're making some changes for the better. Now the pharmacy..... well that is another story. I stopped using them a long time ago because they were just so unreliable... but with all these new hires & other changes I've noticed I hope to see the management make the pharmacy better to and I will definitely consider using their pharmacy again!

They should know your scripts and allergies and insurance filing info, not your schedule. This text was an overreach, and disrupted a rare opportunity to sleep in. Sleeping in one's birthday is a common happier birthday wish, so I felt it worth reporting. I also told the business, and I hope they discontinue this wrongheaded program soon. Using a local business for its unique ability to not act like a franchise shouldn't be like that. Even if it was an email, I don't want to live in a world where people get more birthday wishes from bots than loved ones. That's depressing.

Amoxicillin is an oral antibiotic that you can buy over the counter in any apothecary in Europe and most likely Asia. I have a gum infection below a tooth & this drug would make short work of the infection. But not here in the U.S. without a prescription. That means you have to visit a doctor $$$$$ which may not be cost effective for many. We also found a lot of doctors will want to run a bunch of tests, most just to make money for the doctor and no help to you. Do a search on Drugs.com and you will see it truly is a generic drug. I picked Walgreens simply because they probably have more clot as they are located in a hospital. I did a search of Canadian drug stores, could spend a week and get no where. I am not sure if contacting your Representative would help, I never got a response in the past from any. Remember they are in the pocket of big business and they don't give a rats about you. I know, I tried in the past contacting our Representatives and our Governor, you know that guy that has warmed the chair in Olympia for 12 years, and now thinks he is ready for a bigger chair in DC. I have finally found my forever pharmacy!…read more I had been a customer of Bartell's for many, many years, and was bummed when Rite Aid bought them and more-or-less put them out of business. It took a long while to find a replacement pharmacy, especially one that would honor my insurance. (The latter bit ended up being surprisingly difficult!). Anyway, no problems transferring my prescription to their shop. Their staff walked me through the process and were very helpful. They honored my insurance, so my regular prescription cost me nothing (as it had at Bartell's). Staff was helpful on the phone and in person. I think a lot of people are transferring prescriptions to Katterman's since the pharmacy staff seemed slammed when I went in. But no problems, they took the time to help me. Only confusing bit: you pick up the prescription at a counter at the back of the store, where the pharmacists work. You then take it up to the front counter to "pay" for it, even if you have no co-pay. I think I understand the process now, but the two-step process seemed a little odd (since, again, I owed nothing). But everyone was helpful, so no worries! My new pharmacy! What a relief to have one, and for it to be a nice little local shop.
