This past winter has been too cold with wind chills to actually work on doing any cleaning on the car. I decided that now is a good time to make my vehicle a part of "spring cleaning." Twisted Auto Detail is located on Arctic Spur Rd between Arctic Blvd and W 81st Ave in the industrial area right by the Dowling bridge. The owner of the business, Norman, is a consummate professional and easy to talk to. The Memorial Day Weekend provided me with an extra day off from work and I wanted to use that extra time to get this done. He was able to get me an appointment on Friday at 8PM the day after I texted him on his website. I left the car overnight and came out to a brand new Jeep that looked like it came in off the showroom floor at the dealership. Norman did outstanding work in the interior areas especially the seats which were in need of some real cleaning. The exterior of the car likewise made it look like the day I drove it off the lot after purchasing it a year and a half ago. The one that really amazed me the most was how clean the engine was. It was full of dirt, grime, oil stains, and dead leaves. It looked like it came off the assembly line and the pictures provided will give you a good idea on how hard he worked on this car late into the night. At $450 for all the work, this was very reasonable for a mid-size vehicle like mine. Other places I checked had quoted a couple hundred dollars more for their services. I'm all about supporting small businesses like this and I encourage others on here to see him if you want your car detailed from top to bottom.

Seemed good at first. Was very nice and even buffed out a small scrape without anything. But then…read moredrove my truck around using up a quarter tank of gas and the small scrape that was to be fixed looked horrible. Wanted me to bring it back to "finish sanding and re-painting" but who paints when it clearly hadn't been sanded well at that time. Big gouges that were worse than the original scrape. The clear chip protection was painted over and there was overspray all over the chrome bumper. Ended up taking it to another real body shop and it was 5 times the work to fix all that was done wrong. They had to replace the quarter panel because of all the bondo and incorrectly applied paint. Had to replace number from all overspray. Took weeks to have them fix what would have been days of work. Only take your vehicle here if you don't care what it looks like after and don't mind grade school level bodywork on your car.

I would highly recommend this company and they now have a forever customer in me. I have no connection with this business in any way and actually would have preferred not to use any body shop at all given the circumstances. Since I did need my car repaired, I am so happy I chose Chaz. I know it's going to be impossible to believe, but I would almost go as far to say my car is better after my repair than it was before it went in! It's important to understand that I own a year-old Audi Q5 and when it was hit recently causing 5k in front-end damage, I was very concerned about who was going to fix it and make sure it was done right. I had heard good things about Chaz on 5th from a coworker so I elected to have them fix my car. Since they are a preferred provider for USAA the process was very smooth to get the car into the shop. I met with the manager and told him up front I would be extremely picky about the gaps and lines on the car and if it was not perfect, I would be expecting it to be redone. He assured me that I need not worry and even took me outside to show me a 2 year old Porsche that had just been worked on by his shop. It looked great. They called me regularly and kept me up to date on the status of the repair. Also, they are very courteous, the shop is clean and lobby is nice to wait in. The job was done pretty close to the time alloted and I could not be any happier. I'm thrilled and relieved my Audi looks as good as new and except maybe an automotive paint professional, I would be surprised if anyone could tell a difference. They guarantee the work for life and I know I will never need that guarantee. Thanks Chaz!

It was a really job so I had them take it back in and what they told me is they couldn't do nothing because the frame was bent and they should've noticed it so either somebody didn't look and should've looked. I was told or they just didn't look at all and didn't care so I paid almost $5000 to fix a totaled vehicle. I don't need to tell you they didn't give me a refund. They did tell me they would reach back out to me but this is Chaz being Chaz from the reviews. I've read after my experience. I will never take my vehicles back over there again and I suggest you I've used them for the third time. The first time was a bad experience the third time was a bad experience so I'm batting about 33% with them so I hope you have better luck than me if you use them, but I wouldn't suggest it

It took a long time to wait for the parts only to find out the wrong parts were ordered so I had to wait longer. Finally got my car in and had to wait for over a month to get it back and when I did they over charged me compared to the estimate. The paint department mixed the color wrong and had to redo it so I got charged for their mistake! With the other variables I was charged a extra $2000. When I got my car it had a broken windshield with the rear view mirror hanging off it and a hole in the glass so I had to replace a new windshield. The drivers door is scratched up and the interior material is cut like something went through the window with such force it broke the rear view mirror. Put a hole in the windshield and scratched up the door. With no explanation to what happened! It only needed the outside bumpers fixed it's hard to understand why the interior is damaged! They said they would fix it. I called. Couple weeks later and they haven't ordered all the parts. And no word yet what's going on. I repeated my question again and their response was short, got louder, and kept repeating this is an auto shop. I let them know I am not familiar with the difference and would like to know the services that are provided. The person said again this is an auto shop not a mechanic shop then hung up. I called again a few minutes later thinking this could have been done by mistake and the same person answered the phone. They recognized it was me and repeated this is a autoshop not a mechanic shop. I asked for their name and he refused to give it to me, then hung up. I am not sure if they do great work but it is a little disappointing that this was the experience I had before hand. Based on this interaction, I am not planning on going here for services.

Top notch service from Mirage!!…read more I got rear ended this winter and needed non-insurance body work. Customer service is amazing (some of the best I've ever received, regardless of company type), which made this otherwise stressful situation, a breeze to deal with. They were also much more accommodating than I would expect. I never got the feeling that I was just another customer, thatvthey were trying to rush through and collect payment for. I would, and will, recommend Mirage Auto Painting & Collision to anyone who need body or paint work done to their car. It was such a breeze that, although I hope this situation never arises again, I wouldn't even mind dealing with it, knowing I can count on a company like Mirage.

I have never written a negative review for a business before, but after nine months of dealing with…read morethis issue, I feel it's necessary to share my experience. I brought my truck to Classic Collision following an accident. Before the repairs began, I had my damaged rim evaluated by a wheel repair shop and was told that the rim was too damaged to be repaired and would need to be replaced. I relayed this information to the repair estimator at Classic Collision, who informed me that they would have the rim evaluated by their preferred wheel repair shop to determine whether a replacement was necessary. When I picked up my truck, I discovered that the damaged rim had not been repaired or replaced. Since then, I have spent the last nine months going back and forth with Classic Collision trying to get the issue resolved. Throughout this process, I have remained in contact with my insurance company, and they have consistently informed me that they are waiting on Classic Collision to order the replacement rim. I call regularly for updates and am repeatedly told the same thing: "It will be another three weeks." Nine months later, I am still hearing the same response. To make matters worse, I have had two separate tire shops tell me they could not remove my studded snow tires because the rim is in such poor condition. When you file an insurance claim and pay to have your vehicle repaired, you expect the entire vehicle to be repaired properly. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have never dealt with a body shop that has taken this long to address an unresolved repair issue, and I feel like little to no effort has been made to correct the problem. I genuinely hope this matter gets resolved. If Classic Collision ultimately follows through and fixes the issue, I will gladly update or revise this review to reflect that outcome. Until then, I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.
