Seemed good at first. Was very nice and even buffed out a small scrape without anything. But then…read moredrove my truck around using up a quarter tank of gas and the small scrape that was to be fixed looked horrible. Wanted me to bring it back to "finish sanding and re-painting" but who paints when it clearly hadn't been sanded well at that time. Big gouges that were worse than the original scrape. The clear chip protection was painted over and there was overspray all over the chrome bumper. Ended up taking it to another real body shop and it was 5 times the work to fix all that was done wrong. They had to replace the quarter panel because of all the bondo and incorrectly applied paint. Had to replace number from all overspray. Took weeks to have them fix what would have been days of work. Only take your vehicle here if you don't care what it looks like after and don't mind grade school level bodywork on your car.

This past winter has been too cold with wind chills to actually work on doing any cleaning on the car. I decided that now is a good time to make my vehicle a part of "spring cleaning." Twisted Auto Detail is located on Arctic Spur Rd between Arctic Blvd and W 81st Ave in the industrial area right by the Dowling bridge. The owner of the business, Norman, is a consummate professional and easy to talk to. The Memorial Day Weekend provided me with an extra day off from work and I wanted to use that extra time to get this done. He was able to get me an appointment on Friday at 8PM the day after I texted him on his website. I left the car overnight and came out to a brand new Jeep that looked like it came in off the showroom floor at the dealership. Norman did outstanding work in the interior areas especially the seats which were in need of some real cleaning. The exterior of the car likewise made it look like the day I drove it off the lot after purchasing it a year and a half ago. The one that really amazed me the most was how clean the engine was. It was full of dirt, grime, oil stains, and dead leaves. It looked like it came off the assembly line and the pictures provided will give you a good idea on how hard he worked on this car late into the night. At $450 for all the work, this was very reasonable for a mid-size vehicle like mine. Other places I checked had quoted a couple hundred dollars more for their services. I'm all about supporting small businesses like this and I encourage others on here to see him if you want your car detailed from top to bottom.

I have never written a negative review for a business before, but after nine months of dealing with…read morethis issue, I feel it's necessary to share my experience. I brought my truck to Classic Collision following an accident. Before the repairs began, I had my damaged rim evaluated by a wheel repair shop and was told that the rim was too damaged to be repaired and would need to be replaced. I relayed this information to the repair estimator at Classic Collision, who informed me that they would have the rim evaluated by their preferred wheel repair shop to determine whether a replacement was necessary. When I picked up my truck, I discovered that the damaged rim had not been repaired or replaced. Since then, I have spent the last nine months going back and forth with Classic Collision trying to get the issue resolved. Throughout this process, I have remained in contact with my insurance company, and they have consistently informed me that they are waiting on Classic Collision to order the replacement rim. I call regularly for updates and am repeatedly told the same thing: "It will be another three weeks." Nine months later, I am still hearing the same response. To make matters worse, I have had two separate tire shops tell me they could not remove my studded snow tires because the rim is in such poor condition. When you file an insurance claim and pay to have your vehicle repaired, you expect the entire vehicle to be repaired properly. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have never dealt with a body shop that has taken this long to address an unresolved repair issue, and I feel like little to no effort has been made to correct the problem. I genuinely hope this matter gets resolved. If Classic Collision ultimately follows through and fixes the issue, I will gladly update or revise this review to reflect that outcome. Until then, I cannot recommend this shop based on my experience.

This is by far the worst body shop I've been to. I tried calling for an appointment multiple times,…read moreno one answered so I made an appointment online to find out a week and a half later after being confirmed, they text me canceling my appointment 2 days before my scheduled repair. Since the beginning of this process, it was a nightmare from communication to actually being hung up on after asking the rep to take my concerns to leadership. I do not recommend classic collision on 5th.

My experience with Classic Collision, from start to finish, demonstrated a consistent lack of…read morecommunication, accountability, and customer service across both locations that handled my repair, both Dowling and Gambell. My vehicle was in Classic Collision's possession for more than a month, one day shy of five weeks. During that time, I repeatedly requested status updates and an estimated completion date. On multiple occasions, I was told someone would call me back. Those callbacks never occurred. For two consecutive weeks, I was told my vehicle was "with a technician." I was later told it was "in paint." After more than two weeks had passed, I was informed that repairs had not actually started when I asked the status when they requested to send it to their Gambell location. That information directly contradicted what I had previously been told. When the shop requested to transfer my vehicle to another Classic Collision location, I agreed, expecting the process to move forward. Instead, the communication issues continued. It took 6 days to get it transferred. I again had to initiate every conversation to obtain information about my own vehicle. Promised callbacks from staff and requesting management to call me never happened despite multiple requests. At one point, I was placed on hold for approximately 40 minutes while an employee attempted to determine what stage my vehicle was in... mind you he came back on the line and told me he helped multiple people that walked in the door instead of asking them to wait a moment. When he returned to the line, I was again told it was "in paint," despite having heard the same response previously with no meaningful explanation or timeline. I ultimately had to involve my insurance company to obtain updates that I could not get directly from Classic Collision. When I picked up my vehicle, my husband was told they would not be sending me a customer satisfaction survey because the problems were attributed to the first location. That response ignored the fact that the communication failures continued after the vehicle was transferred and they failed as well. As the customer, I entrusted my vehicle to one company, not two separate businesses. From my perspective, both locations failed to provide even the most basic level of customer service. The quality of the repair does not erase the experience. Customers should not have to repeatedly call for updates, receive conflicting information about the status of their vehicle, or rely on their insurance company to obtain answers that should come directly from the repair facility. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Classic Collision. I utilized them because they purchased Spruce Park on Dowling, who handled a previous vehicle famously. The lack of communication, inaccurate information, failure to return calls, and absence of accountability throughout the repair process fell well below reasonable customer service expectations. Zero stars, do not recommend.

You just remove the broken parts and replace them with new ones." Well it was too damaged to be fixed, and they never called to correct themselves.
