A medium and I did a waltz. I couldn't even open my passenger front or back door. The step was pushed up by ice. I called Ace Auto Body and talked with the owner. He said come by and I'll look at it. He told me to go to the car wash and remove the ice and the step would just pop down. He could have done that and charged me $$$ I love that I have found an honest body work person! I called ACE to get an estimate to sand/paint front end scratches from contact with a pressure-treated post last year. Mr. Kim said, "Just stop by" instead of scheduling an estimate appointment. When I stopped by that afternoon, he came right out to assess my scratches. I thought the paint damage had caused rust down to frame metal. Mr. Kim said, "That's plastic!" He left and came back with a wet rag and removed all of the "rust." I had a paint kit, and he gave me tips on how to apply it to the 2 small scratches that remained. I tried to offer him $20 for his time, but he firmly refused. I'll definitely call Mr. Kim if I need autobody work done in the future. read more

I don't know where the 5-star reviews coming from. I called to ask for some information about the cost of painting my bumper. The guy told me to call the dealership to get the part and hung up on me. I called him back and said it was a poor customer service. He finally listened for a few minutes. He said $500, said he couldn't help, and hung up on me again. Why do I want to take my car there?! I would love to support small local business but my experience with Ace is not helping big time! If there were negative star rating options, I would put -100. read more

I smashed up the front end of my 05 4 Runner. Went into Ace Auto Body shop and got an estimate. The estimate was done quickly and professionally. I was satisfied and set up an appointment to have the car repaired. The main guy (possibly the owner) gave me an estimate of 4 days, I believe. He was very helpful in giving me tips on where to get the cheapest rental car, etc, even willing to give me a lift to the local Enterprise car rental place (about 2 miles away). He was just right -- 4 days -- and the car was complete. He seriously brought my ride back to life.....looked amazing. He replaced the hood , matched the paint perfectly, new front light....amazing job. I was very impressed. I would not hesitate to recommend Ace as a place to take your car for body work. read more

If you're not taking your vehicle to Kim at Ace then you're making poor life choices! He fixed my busted drivers door hinges, and damage caused by catching the door while backing up. I brought the parts and he put all together, lined up door, in the same day for hardly anything! Well worth it to go there. Able, and Fix wanted enormous amounts to fix it. I just wanted to pay to have the door close properly and he did it! Didn't try to scam me or cheat me or insist on doing more but what I asked. Totally satisfied! read more

He told me that they could get my truck in the very next morning and have it back to me at the end of my work day. I concur with John O. I had a great experience at ACE. I caution you to not judge this book by its cover (it looks a little beat up). I think the guy at the desk when you walk in goes by Kim. He's good people. My neighbor tagged my car in our parking garage, and the kid had the decency to knock on my door and fess up. So I had the decency to shop around for a good price for him to pay for the paint job. I shopped three places, and ACE was the lowest bidder. Ol' Kim didn't want to work on the car until I had my neighbor's cash in hand since he knows some people are more honest than others. I thought that was a nice touch. He touched up another paint issue I had on my car for a sweet deal since I was already getting the scratch repainted, and my '09 Civic looks like she did the day I bought her. He estimated it'd take three days, and it only took two. I highly recommend ACE if you need a paint job, and I'm guessing they're pretty square when it comes to body work in general. read more

Had a smash in my tailgate, didn't care about the cosmetics but needed to get the door functional again. Kim and his crew gave me a quick and reasonable quote, started and finished the job in one day.
