My insurance (GEICO) paid $566.67 for a new rim due to a minor accident. I wanted to keep the scratched rim as a spare, but Danny's kept it, claiming it was used as a "core" for the new one. There was no mention of this in any paperwork, and I never agreed to it. Rims aren't made with a "core" process, so their explanation doesn't add up. It feels like they took my property without permission. I asked for proof--like shipping receipts or invoices--showing where the rim went, but I'm still waiting. After 31 years with GEICO and no prior accidents, I expected better from their approved vendor. The lack of transparency has left me frustrated and distrustful. I'd caution others to double-check what happens to their parts here.

I was without the car for 8 days for a 3 hour repair and they had a month to order the part. They told me that I would receive a form to fill out within 2 days of me picking up the repaired car. This was for me to rate their service. That form never did show up and I suspect why. Quality of the work was mostly good except that there are 2 small chips out of the top of the fender, probably put there when they installed it.
