I have been coming here for more than a decade and honestly it is not like there is no competition in Crystal mall, there is in the market with multiple vendors, but it seems like this one in the middle is a favorite to most. On any given day you could be lining up past the meat butcher outside just to pay for your grab of the day, but no matter, the women who work the till here are machines, they calculate fast and bag your stuff fast cause they know the next person is waiting to pay and ready to GTFO. If you have the patience, and are willing to venture here like all who know are, you will see way better greens than what you would get at the big supermarket and lower prices. From the assortment of Chinese greens they have, everything is truly fresh, and clean.... you still have to wash your vegetables but what I noticed is that there is not much soil on them here, speaks to the level of care whoever is supplying them these leafy essentials. Near the till they also sell freshly made rice rolls, ready to be taken home and steamed (or pan fried).
