I just left this office and found a new doctor. The staff does not answer the phones. Unnecessary…read moreblood work will be required. They love holding you hostage with necessary medications. After you get the blood work, you are required to go back for a visit to get even normal results. Rachael explained to me that they do this for billing. She will not discuss anything over the phone as she "doesn't have the time". Even after seeing three of their providers (the providers are like a revolving door...Rachael was on leave last I heard), and going through hundreds... literally hundreds of blood tests, they all missed that I had hyperaldosteronism. They will milk every single penny out of you. I don't know if they get a percentage from Quest, but the tests are excessive here. I'm so happy to have found a better provider.

My husband and I both had multiple issues with this practice so we won't be returning. While I…read morereally liked Rachel, their office is incredibly inefficient and has some questionable practices. 1. If you have a cough, you have to wait in your car to do COVID, Flu, and strep tests (even if you don't have any other symptoms...) Each time this happened, my all-in wait time to take the test, get the results back, and then be allowed into the building was 1-2 hours. That doesn't include wait time and actual face-to-face time... I don't mind extra precautions to keep patients safe, but I do mind inefficient ones. 2. They are generally very test happy. They required my husband to do bloodwork and get an EKG prior to starting his blood pressure meds. Three months later he was required to repeat both to get his refill prescription. I was also required to get an EKG and a circulation test to establish myself as a patient, despite no prior related conditions. 3. They don't answer voicemails. When we asked about this when we finally got through, they said that they don't have access to them because the person who receives them is gone. This is mostly an issue because at times they don't answer their phones either...

It started off good except for the last few recent incidents. My Dr, Dr Safari was so rude. I have…read morebipolar and my manic was showing because I was so nervous I wouldn't get answers which I didn't. He even said should we cancel this appointment because of how you're acting. How sad a Dr couldn't help when mental health was involved. That was beyond disturbing he didn't even care. I left feeling sad and defeated. He was awful to me. Then not too much later I got a huge abscess on my face and I couldn't get an appointment for weeks and this was emergent as it was extremely bad. So I had to find another Dr. but I have all these symptoms and no one wants to listen to me. I continue to experience pain and rashes and stuff and it isn't stopping. No one cares. I'm just blown off. But Dr Safari really let me down.

Got to the back asked the X-ray technician that X-rays were already taken and to whom could I give them to. A black female came back to speak with me. I noticed she didn't like me asking questions. I informed her that this facility told me to bring them (X-rays and documents) and wanted them to have them and needed an email to send them. Well this upset her, stormed away. Seeing this disingenuous behavior and empathy for patients. I decided to sought out another doctor. The X-ray tech was super nice and convinced me to speak with the office manager. She told me if I didn't this behavior would continue. Which means this female has done it before. Anyways I express my concern and lack of respect and professionalism towards patients. I don't have any faith in the office manger, I told her I believe this behavior occurred before with no Consequences. She replied with a smark response "you are wrong". I bet that medical assistance is still working and she will continue to work there. So I spend $40 today for a doctor's visit where staff are unprofessional to patients. People of Katy, I don't not recommend this establishment, I should have read their reviews before setting up an appointment.

I checked in and the receptionist (I apologize I did not get her name) was nice and I loved it!!! She explained everything and was friendly!! The first Nurse I encountered, Ms. Johnene, was so sweet, thorough, and gentle!! The second Nurse Heidi was pleasant and I loved her neon green scrubs!! The anesthesiologist, Dr. Mcghee was very nice and explained everything. I loved his cowboy boots and he was right, the procedure was "easy peasy"!!!! The Nurse assistants that were in the procedure room were so down to earth and simply awesome!!! Elizabeth's personality was hilarious (so much so I asked her to reposition the oxygen mask on my nose because I laughed it out)!!! Whitney was very sweet and personable!! Duane (probably not spelling it correctly) made me laugh when she described how I was going to have the best nap in a moment!!! Dr. Marks is my Gastroentologist and I love his calm demeanor!!! He did a great job!! I woke up in recovery and Kaitlyn was right there. She was very nice and walked me out to my Husband who was waiting in the truck. All in all, great customer service!!! If ever there were a need for another procedure, I would feel very comfortable returning to receive the same top notch care I received today!!!!

Came back a second time - and their ER services here are STILL SUPERB!…read more Came back because I was having flu-like symptoms accompanied by severe asthma and increased heart rate. I was taken care of by nurse Monaliza and Harry along with Dr. Azintola. Let me just say, how much I love the staff here at Memorial Hermann ER. I arrived to the ER a little after 1pm and it is so amazing on how they can continue to provide consistent, amazing service. Harry and Monaliza are incredible nurses. They were both so accommodating, nurturing, kind, considerate, and everything else a nurse should be. I was struggling to breathe and they did everything they could to make me comfortable and to help me in every way. Harry and Monaliza have such big hearts - Harry was so soft spoken and kind, he helped carry my belongings and it was very obvious that he was concerned for my well being. Monaliza was so fun to speak with - she took my mind off of my illness and instead made my time in the ER very enjoyable. She was so down to earth and I just could not believe how blessed I was to be taken care of by such amazing nurses. Dr. Azintola had great bedside manner - he was very thorough and made sure that I was in good hands by providing proper treatment and going through some tests to make sure he pinpoint what was going on. He answered all of my questions and even asked if I had anymore questions for him in a calm, patient manner. He thoroughly explained everything and provided me with what the best treatment/medication would be for me. This is the second time I've been here in two months and I am so grateful that I have found this facility. The hospital staff here is extremely welcoming and so kind - this is the best place to be for any kind of emergency.

I was referred to Dr. Indira Reyes-Contin after going to the ER watch center. The watch center was…read morenot at this facility but another hospital. She was very friendly and kind but there was one MAJOR issue that resulted in me feeling WORSE than when I started. If you're someone that's struggling with mental health you MUST read this. Or actually, JUST IN GENERAL. She asked a few basic questions and then some more detailed ones. I told her that my outside psychiatrist told me there's a possibility I have bipolar disorder. Dr. Reyes dismissed that possibility and explained that my symptoms weren't of bipolar disorder just MDD (major depressive disorder) and that it was "normal" to have these mood swings in depression. She prescribed me antidepressants (you don't EVERY give A-D to a person with BP). Started off with 5mg and told me that I'd feel su!cidal the first 5 days but it was a side affect of the medication (first off who even prescribes that?) Well that was not how I felt and I started feeling high the 3rd day. After 5 days I'd then take 10mg on the 6th day. I went through my first manic episode and it was HORRID. That medication worked INSTANTLY and I had immediate aggressive mood swings FAR from this "normal" she said. I made an emergency virtual session that same day this happened with Dr. Reyes and you'd think she would be worried but guess what, she was ignorant and told me to KEEP TAKING IT. "Your body has to get used to it for it to work," she said. What kind of doctor says?? I told her I had all of these symptoms and she STILL dismissed it as a part of the medication. Me and my dad were persistent that this wasn't my normal behavior and that I had gone from feeling grandiose to the next SECOND having an aggressive break down. The session was said to be 30min but it didn't even last 10min. Scammer. My manic episode lasted for TWO WEEKS and she wanted me to take it??? I would've died or kms if I did. I even started having psychological withdrawal symptoms but thankfully my mom flushed these meds down. I went from having to be in IOP to PHP thanks to her. Dr. Reyes should have serious consciences for her actions. I wouldn't recommend this "doctor" whatsoever or else she'll dismiss and belittle your situation. Just because you don't have all the symptoms of something doesn't mean it's NOT a possibility. In summary she's absolutely careless "practitioner" when it comes to the well being of patients.
