I Love Katy Medical Center, nice office & great visits! It all started because I was seeking a PCP that was close to home, and most importantly a provider who took my new health insurance & of course a seasoned, compassionate & knowledgeable MD and healthcare provider. I am happy to say that I found what I was looking for with Dr.Raj, she was my first women PCP and she was excellent during my visit. Dr. Raj took her time to go over everything and anything I asked or needed, within reason. She also did an excellent job at referring me to a great Specialist whom accepted my insurance & located nearby as well, for supplemental care! The referral was great and seamless, I just finished my visit and I will be back to do my physical & review bloodwork on my next upcoming visit. I love that the Bloodwork was done in-house next to the office at Quest - and Dr Raj really acted quick to call in a Prescription for my low Vitamin D deficiency. In conclusion, I would like to say is the office staff was really great & on top of calling prior visit, very flexible & the PA who took my vitals is amazing! Oh, and I love the updated system & online portal they use, you simply login to make an appointment, change an appt, message, request refills, schedule tele-visits or just check your overall health docs. Last, but not least...I was also blown away by there advanced medical equipment & overall knowledge. This practice is fairly new and coming up quickly! Make sure you call now to get an appointment. Especially, before the word gets out about how great this overall practice is! Be sure to Ask for Dr. Raj -tell her Jeseka sent you :) read more

I just left this office and found a new doctor. The staff does not answer the phones. Unnecessary blood work will be required. They love holding you hostage with necessary medications. After you get the blood work, you are required to go back for a visit to get even normal results. Rachael explained to me that they do this for billing. She will not discuss anything over the phone as she "doesn't have the time". Even after seeing three of their providers (the providers are like a revolving door...Rachael was on leave last I heard), and going through hundreds... literally hundreds of blood tests, they all missed that I had hyperaldosteronism. They will milk every single penny out of you. I don't know if they get a percentage from Quest, but the tests are excessive here. I'm so happy to have found a better provider. read more

Katy Medical Center - Medical Centers Near Me - Katy, Texas

My husband and I both had multiple issues with this practice so we won't be returning. While I really liked Rachel, their office is incredibly inefficient and has some questionable practices. 1. If you have a cough, you have to wait in your car to do COVID, Flu, and strep tests (even if you don't have any other symptoms...) Each time this happened, my all-in wait time to take the test, get the results back, and then be allowed into the building was 1-2 hours. That doesn't include wait time and actual face-to-face time... I don't mind extra precautions to keep patients safe, but I do mind inefficient ones. 2. They are generally very test happy. They required my husband to do bloodwork and get an EKG prior to starting his blood pressure meds. Three months later he was required to repeat both to get his refill prescription. I was also required to get an EKG and a circulation test to establish myself as a patient, despite no prior related conditions. 3. They don't answer voicemails. When we asked about this when we finally got through, they said that they don't have access to them because the person who receives them is gone. This is mostly an issue because at times they don't answer their phones either... read more

Terrible experienced! They don't follow up on prognosis and treatment. They don't listen to the patient, and show no respect to them. Care quality was lacking. Center appears to be run by the front desk. read more

Would give it zero stars if I could. Had a terrible experience and heard the nurse laughing at me through the walls and mocking me because of the pain I was in while getting a pelvic exam. Literally left the place crying. So unprofessional and they made me feel so small like as if they were Bullies. It's fine though im just going to leave this review here and let God handle the rest read more

If Rachel was the only provider I would stay. I don't think the lady physician is coming back and this new fill in doctor is a joke. He told me that the EKG here is inaccurate and that the allergy testing is a money-making scam. The way he talks about the people that work there make me hope he really is just filling and not taking over. He has a snotty attitude and my husband, and I never want to see him again. Be SPECIFIC when making your appointment or you will get stuck with him. read more

My experience with this clinic has been very good. Recently, I've been working with the nurse practitioner, Rachel. I have some major health issues and did a lot of research on them. Most doctors want to give me pills, but they have devastating side effects for my condition, and I have refused. I approached Rachel with a list of tests that various books have recommended, the results of which could possibly determine the "cause" of my health issues. Rachal spent a lot of time talking with me and listened to me more than "most" medical people have, and ordered the tests. For the tests she was unable to order, she recommended me to a specialist who COULD order them. I don't mind being referred to someone else, as long as I'm moving forward to get answers. Rachal doesn't beat around the bush; she's direct and gives you information straight. I like that. She's a walking encyclopedia and shares her information in plain English. 5 stars!! read more

I drove all the way from Houston for an appointment here. I called the day prior to see if they had any availability and they quickly penciled me in for the following day. The receptionist are very through and kind. The physician was clear and concise; she instantly put my prescription in and I was ready to pick it up after my appointment. I plan on making this my primary care clinic. read more

My husband and I were looking for a new PCP and I found Dr. Ansari. This was the worse mistake of our lives!! When I called to make our appointments for our annual physicals I was told it was covered at 100%. Well I called back a few hours later and was told that they listed it as an office visit, first mistake. I then asked the gentleman, when we get our blood results back are you going to charge us for an office visit? I told him, according to United Healthcare a follow up is still part of our health and wellness visit. He says, no we won't charge you. So we arrive at the appointment, last Tuesday, and waited why the PA walked by us, with her lunch, ate it in the back, and then called us back. We spoke with the PA about our medical history for almost an hour before the doctor came in. The doctor came in, very dry and cold, introduced herself and was done with two physicals in less than 10 minutes. I told this doctor several times I am anemic and she just blew it off. Fast forward to today when it's time to get our blood work back. We arrive and sit and wait for 20 minutes before the receptionist tells me it's $63 to see the doctor to get our test results. In the beginning I explained the gentleman told me it was still part of the health and wellness visit, AND United Healthcare told me the same. She says have a seat I'll go check. She then goes in the back and the doctor tells her to code it as an office visit!!! What a RIP OFF! So my husband and I were handed a printout of our results and sent on our way. Thank GOD I know how to read test results. And low and behold not only am I anemic, but my levels are very low and I need an iron transfusion ASAP. We wasted our health and wellness visit on a money hungry doctor. NEVER AGAIN. I also reported her to United Healthcare. read more

My appointment was at 11:30 for my medical exam to be sent to USCIS on a Wednesday. I was told it would take an hour and as I am attending the appointment during a normal working week it sounded ideal. I waited in the doctors office for over an hour before being seen, once I was, it was slow and even when I informed her I am running behind, there was no change. So in the end I waisted nearly an hour and 45 mins of my life. Very disappointed. Will not return. read more

Dr. Ansari is such a pleasure. She is very thorough and has such a great rapport with patients. I am so glad to have had the pleasure of meeting her. Patients keep coming back to her for a reason! I highly recommend this doctor! read more

Probably the worst practice you can go to get a wellness check up. Since I got new insurance for the year I was unable to go to my prior physician. Instead, I found Dr. Ansari listed under my health insurance. Showed up to my well check up and she was kind, but didn't really ask all the questions she should've. Also did not inform me that my blood test would be out of office. I went to the front staff and got my paper to get my blood test at Quest and then she informed me that Dr. Ansari would like me to come in again to go over my blood results once it's back from the lab. I asked if the visit would be free since I was there for a wellness exam. She said that I would have to pay my copay in order to receive my blood results. I've never had to pay to get my blood results?... I asked if she could call since I'm a student and have a busy schedule and she said the doctor doesn't call to give blood test results either. In conclusion, this place is a scam. No doctor should ever make you pay for blood results when it should be covered under your insurance for your wellness exam. read more
