Why are such good takeaway places only in Brampton? This Vegetarian takeaway only place is named…read moreafter Ganpati/Vinayak (Elephant God) is undiscovered gem for me. For us it worth the drive to Brampton to pickup some food. We were delivering a wide variety of foods for an important family event and our goal was to pick up 20 different items. We ended up picking close to 40'items. The onion pakoras (20/10, yes not a typo), masala Idli, thaali with tamarind rice or lemon rice (both 10/10 and a slight up charge), all the veg curries, medu vadas, spinach medu vadas, samosas, fritters, stuffed breads, and oh those desserts - some mango flavoured, coconut and more. And the best almost all of things that we bought happened to be Vegan! There was raita and some dahi wadas that had yogurt. And get these, we did not buy masala dosas, regular idlis, puttus, noodles and pasta (yes they had pasta, probably Tamil or Sri Lankan style) and so much more. Wonder how many times I will have to make a trip to try everything here.

Ordered a take away of 3 masala dosas, 5 idli, samosa and portion of spring roll…read more The food was bagged cold - so you have to heat the sambhar it at home. Now issue is the dosa became soggy due to the steam. Longer it stayed wrapped more soggy it got. Would be ideal that they're wrapped just at collection and sambhar is given hot in container. That way can unwrap and eat straight away. Samosa and spring roll small baby sized. I will say though samosa filling was tasty as was the dosa filling. In fact the dosa was full! I rated at 3 originally but gave 4 given the amount of filling in the dosa - I look forward to restaurant opening so I can eat their dosa there and then. Will revisit!

Awesome selection of Eastern European foods and drinks! I went to look for items from the country…read moreof Georgia, and found several items, including mineral waters (Borjomi and Nabeglavi), they also had Naktaktari tarragon lemonade, and several Georgian foods including Thkemali sauce, khmeli suneli spice, and several other foods I used to enjoy in Georgia including Jacobs coffee, Turkish coffee, Mayo and ketchup in the pouch, etc. They have a cooler of cheeses, kefir, fishes, and meats, a deli, as well as a freezer of dumplings, ice creams, cakes, and other frozen items. There's an aisle of sweets and an aisle of baking ingredients. Another aisle of non perishables, and drinks, and bulk candies as well. Even a pharmacy. Really a great variety and different items than what I've seen at other Eastern European stores in the area. Highly recommend!

They have one of the largest selections of Kvass that I've seen out of any of the Russian/Ukranian stores and all very reasonably priced. They also sell Kefir. As mentioned in the previous review, they also sell medicine/pharmacy that you'd typically find in Russian and Eastern Europe, so it's pretty unique to see it out here. Store clerk was friendly.

This Indian grocery store is close to my place. Have been thinking to try it since some time. Today…read moreI was driving by, and outside it was advised that they also have samosas, sweets and Indian food. I was hungry, so decided to try it. It's big grocery store, very clean and vibrant. Inside there on the side they have small restaurant with a siting capacity of upto 20 people. I really like their setup. Today I ordered veg Samosas and Saffron Cashew Burfi. This burfi is a dense condensed milk and cashew nut butter based sweet with a flavour of saffron. Prices are reasonable. Samosas were hot and fresh, served with tamarind chutney and mint chutney, we both loved them. They were not too salty or spicy, they had perfectly balanced flavour. Burfi was chewy and had good flavour of saffron and cashews, and was not overly sweet, just the way I like it. Overall a great experience. Will definitely go back to try their butter chicken and tandoori chicken.

I have been here before to puck up some of thier huge fabulous veggie samosas but today I picked up some goat curry as well ..they carry a huge variety of Indian sweets and have a great hot table with both veggie and meat choices . Food 5/5 the samosas here are dilicious and huge in size filled with patatoe and pea filling and other ingredients just really nice and filling because how big they are...two of these and most people would have there hunger satisfied. The curry goat was really spicey very tender and loaded with flavour the perfect curry to go over some nice rice... Service 5/5 I always have had great service at this place no complaints.
