I am so grateful for King's tire. I had a new car just a month into my lease and I hit something on the road and got a flat tire on a Saturday. I called around and every tire store quoted me over $400 for one run flat and I had to wait until Monday. I called King's and Sako told me to come Monday and gave me his cell to confirm just in case. He got me the run flat and beat every other tire store in the area on price. I went there on Monday afternoon and in less than an hour had my new tire and got to drive back in peace. Senior will find excellent service here. I love my General tires and get courtesy tire rotation during the year. On short notice, Kings will check my front tire in water after it went flat so the way to the accountant. I had to be towed and the tow driver said it had a deep slash. I made him show me & for sure it was a gash. Tomorrow morning after the tire is removed and put in water to find the cause of problem, probably Kings will recommend a new tire. They promised to have it done before my doctor's appt. I love Kings & will recommend them at the Arcadia Senior Center. They are worth the 10 minute drive. Dependable, honest and fair prices. I'm not sure how this place has such solid reviews. In the past I remember calling and getting told they didn't have availability on the day I was calling, and so I asked when I CAN make an appointment, and got sort of a weird/dismissive answer. I clarified "I can literally be available whenever, this isnt a rush, when you I get in?" And after some weird back and forth the call eventually just ended with no appointment... I tried again today, since I was *hopeful* I could actually make something work near home, since normal tire places don't do alignment on a Jeep with 35s. I called asking if they can do an alignment appointment, tried to ask for the cost, and the guy on the phone rushed me off the phone "yeah yeah we got a bay available now, come on in!" and hung up--rude, but appreciated the confidence. Drove there and was told they are WAY backed up but that they could fit me in 2 hours later at noon. Because of the lack of professionalism, I decided I should call and confirm they could still take me at noon. Glad I did, because after a solid 10+ minutes sitting on hold, I was told they couldn't. Got a long sob story about a corvette that needed parts and how they are tied up, blah blah. No accountability. Pro tip, maybe just say "sorry, bad planning/management on our part"? No offer to put me down for another appointment, etc... This place specializes in lifted, off-road vehicles. Seems especially unprofessional to waste customers' time when your target audience is generally people with sub 15MPG vehicles, driving around town for nothing. Wasted half of my only day off this summer and 1.5 hours of wasted mileage just to get jerked around an ultimately not align my jeep. read more

Customer service is horrible. I called about 3 months ago for an estimate on a lift kit and tires for a truck. The guy on the phone told me he'd have someone who was more familiar with that truck call me back. I waited about a week and never heard anything so I called back. The guy that was supposed to call me back answered and told me he seen the message just forgot to call me. He then told me he was just finishing up a job and he'd call me back in about an hour or so.... Never got a call back. Then I stopped in to talk to someone in person and no one came to help me so I left. Called back once more and 3 months later still haven't heard anything back. read more

If you need any suspension work done, you've come to the right place! Recently got into outdoor activities and decided to start building up this 96 Acura SLX (Isuzu Trooper chassis). Wanted to get her lifted and had no idea where to start. Called in and made an appointment to talk to someone. Met Junior and he is gods gift to people building an off road vehicle. Completely professional, super knowledgeable, and patient. Since my car is old and rare the Dobinson Lift kit took some time to be delivered, 2 months coming from Dobinson in FL. While waiting JR kept me in the loop and once the kit came made an appt to install. Took a day to install but they found a few more things to fix to get her ready for some light off-roading-Front Axel, tire rods, and idler arm needed some fixing. I don't leave reviews much but I had to warn others about this business. What appeared to be a simple job for them (King's Tire & Wheel), they not only managed to mess up my wheel installation just once but TWICE. In my photos, you can see 5 out of the 6 lug nuts fallen off. My wheel and rotor are damaged, and it's barely hanging on by 1 lug nut. Luckily, I was driving slow in traffic on a local street at the time. My car just lost speed and made a really bad grinding noise all of a sudden. Had I been driving 60-70mph on the freeway, my wheel would've fallen off and who knows if I'd be able to tell this story today. I street park it, walk home, then get it towed to the business the next morning. The workers there sound very unapologetic. The manager ordered me a replacement wheel but they don't even re-install an OEM rotor. At this point, I'm wondering if I even want to go back. I come back and get the new wheel installed. But as soon as I leave, the back plate is grinding against the wheel and I have to drive back to get that fixed. They couldn't even do a simple test drive to make sure everything was installed correctly. Long story short, if you don't want to deal with the risk of a poor quality tire & wheel service and possibly risk severe injury or death, this is not the business for you. read more

My story is long so I simplified it I am restoring an old 1985 ATC which I've owned since 1985. I struggled several days trying to mount new rear tires on wheels. I finally gave up with one side of new tire on wheel. I tried everything including $45 tool from harbor freight just couldn't get full mount. I called around and unable to get any help from cycle dealers in area. Many not willing to "just mount tires." Need to buy them there. Except one. Called King Tire because "off-road " in title search results. They were willing to mount if I could wait until Friday. I showed up Friday and shop busy before actual 8am opening. I'm retired from the auto collision repair industry for 25 years. I understand shop business pretty well. They did succeed in mounting and bead set. When I tried to pay he said it was small thing No charge. I even offered 20 for Tech. Said "no worries "The auto industry is very driven by these surveys. I was very frustrated with tires and this act of kindness made my Friday morning bright. I have no doubt where to go for next set of tires. And shop VERY busy but efficient with time. As a heads up Charlie is no longer here. Be sure to ask for Jason or Junior (Sako). I recently ordered a full set of Michelin for one of my cars and they went above and beyond. Due to my time constraints I told Jason I would only be able to come in after 4:00pm on my day off to get all four wheels mounted, balanced and installed onto the car and get a four wheel alignment. Keep in mind they close at 6:00pm. This gives them 2 hours tops to get it done. Most shops would tell you the typical "drop if off first thing in the morning" speech not them. They worked with my schedule, superior customer service. On top of all of this I called them at 12pm and they told me they would get the tires by 4pm. This gave them four hours to get four tires that most shops needed a day or two to get. Not only did the team here accept the challenge they went out of their way to make it happen. When I arrived there was a mix-up with the delivery guy and he brought the wrong tires. Immediately they owned up to their mistake and gave me the option that they'll mount new Pirelli tires for no charge and would have me come back to get the Michelin ones on or they'd send someone in rush hour traffic to get the tires. As a business if I took this option #1 that meant they'd give me new tires, mount them and end up losing a ton having to sell them as used tires. Not only did they meet my expectations they made sure I was taken care of. I took the second option and they still got me out before 6:00pm. They promised they'd stay late if it meant finishing my car that day. What really sealed the deal was Jason took care of the alignment cost due to the mistake they made. Did I ask him to? Nope! I can tell you this is RARE shops would go out of their way to make things right without a customer asking. Not only did they find MULTIPLE solutions for me they still went the extra mile after making me fully content. Their price were unbeatable by anyone. Their service is unmatched and the customer service ensures a five star experience. If you're looking for an honest and reliable shop that WONT SCRATCH YOUR WHEELS come here. read more

Looks are deceiving!!! I have had my jeep for 8 years now and have modified it extensively. Occasionally I have a need for a shop when I don't have the time or the space or the tools to do the work myself. I found this place and thought I'd give it a try , it seemed a little expensive but it felt like they knew what they were doing. I left my jeep for them to do the work and it turned out ok on my drive home... But soon after I had some issues... first was death wobble!! Never had this before. I had been running the same 37's on a 2.5 in lift without a steering stabilizer for a year with no problems at all. I was told that the solution was to purchase a steering stabilizer as that's the solution to death wobble. NO wrong. Any seasoned jeep shop knows that's just a bandaid... a cheap way to mask the real problems. So i took it back... and they told me it's fine. We'll 3 months later I have severely cupped tires that shimmy going down the road... with a $500 stabilizer... to add to that they stripped bolts and used coarse thread self tapping machine screws to put things back together. Who knows what else they did. So will I go back? No! Hell no! To what argue with the owner? They don't have the skills or don't care to do a good job even. So if you are in the market for a good jeep shop skip this place. Oh and when the owner goes on and on about his suspension knowledge... remember it's not him working on the cars it's the guys he hired from jiffy lube that over torqued your oil pan bolt last time... haha. My Benz got a flat tire a few months ago and I had it replaced at the dealership for almost $400. A week later, I got ANOTHER flat tire on the same car (different tire) and did NOT want to spend another $400 so I called King's after being referred from my salesperson at Benz. They were excellent. They ordered the tire I needed and had it in their store just a few days later and when I brought my car in, it took less than 30minutes for them to change it out! the price was a fraction of what I had paid for at Benz.
