Poor customer service and staff are very loud and talk entirely too much. They spend more time talking to each other than they do with the clients. Not a relaxed environment. read more

What I asked for and what I got (I didn't want the LV logo tho) Kim was very thorough with my pedicure and made sure that I chose the right color for my toes to match my full set. Bryan did a great job I am very happy with the outcome he was right on it with the color and as you can see from the picture pretty much what I asked for. With my eyelashes I bought my own strips so instead of 17 it was 14 for them to put them on but the adhesive they use lasts way longer plus I was in a hurry to be ready it's memorial day weekend. I have my go to nail shop which will always be my first choice but this shop does more designs that I can't get at my go-to. Plus there is much more staff here. read more

Everytime I am there I am treated very respectfully. a day ago. It's a yes for me. I've been going since the shop open. My advice to anyone recieving a personal service is speak up. This group is extremely accommodating. They will not be able understand your style or desire if you don't speak up. We all like different things, be clear and vocal about what you are seeking. This is the only nail shop I come to in Chicago. My last visit I came in on a Sunday @ 5 not realizing they closed early and as I was about to walk out they said they would do my full set of acrylics. The man took his time applying the acrylic and shaping my nails even though they were closing and I came in last minute. Their base price is $20 for full set and they add on $5 for certain shapes and $5 for really long nails but $30 is still cheaper than basic sets downtown. This is my number one spot in Chicago hands down read more

I come to this location to get my eyebrows waxed. One of the ladies (don't know her name) does an amazing job. Because she is so good I've waited over an hour to have them done. When I go there anticipate that I would need to wait because there is usually a line. The day I went there was three people ahead of me. What I didn't anticipate was that a women with a ticket she picked up in the morning would be provided service before I was. The lady stated she picked up a ticket but could not wait because she had to go to work. The way I see it, that means you just lost your place in line. However, apparently they shared her view. I was asked to get up out of the chair, to allow the young lady who literally walked through the door 30 seconds ago, to go ahead of me. I got up and walked out. I don't care how good you are, you do not get to provide bad customer service and get my hard earned money. Never again will I spend a dime at this place. read more

My first time here since this shop opened up in Bronzeville. The staff was nice and friendly. I care in for a pedicure. The massage chairs were nice and relaxing. There wasn't a wait either for a Sunday afternoon which was nice. The tech that did my nails did a good job and was error free. A pedicure was $25 and if you pay with credit card you just tell them what you want to add for the tip. They have a decent variety of polishes to choose from including mood polishes and no-chip polish. I can speak to the nails but I would come here again for a pedicure. read more

Terrible customer service. Jan is the only reason majority of their customers still support this business.

I came in looking to get a fill. I waited about 15min and then was serviced by a young guy sitting near the front to the left. Initially I was put off by the cost of the service ($40 for a white acrylic fill) but it turned out to be worth it. He shaped and filled it perfectly. read more

This nail salon does not value customer service. The quality of the nail job is disappointing. I went in for a manicure and asked for a nail powder ombré look they had on display. I left feeling I was better off going elsewhere. When I asked for a manager, they told me no manager was available. There's a place up the road called Maxim Nails. Better quality. read more

I came on a Sunday where it was slow and I requested a gel nail fill in and they charged me $40 FOR A FILL-IN, I'm like okay I have money it's so big deal it will last. 4 days later my nail looks like this. I could of gotten an acrylic nails if they were going to break 4 days later I could of went to 51st and State and paid $15. So I go back to the establishment to speak with a manager, and I explained what happened and he states "that's what happens when you work with your hands." I WORK AT A DESK!! Then I had to pay for them to repair it. read more

I went on a Monday afternoon around 3:30. It wasn't very busy so I got service immediately. The lady who did my nails was watching a show on her phone the entire time. She cut my middle finger too short and completely removed the acrylic that flushed with my cuticles too look natural. On my ring finger she filled too short, and made an very awkward shape. I love my color and the length but they are already grown out and I've only had them for 4 days. Will definitely not be returning for a 3rd time. They are slow and rude. I waited for over 45 minutes in the pedicure chair with cold water and no one came to check on me in addition to being ignored or told "one more minute" when I inquired about my service. They do not clean any of their stations or the pedicure chairs after each customer. I will never come here again. read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. FIND ANOTHER NAIL SHOP!! Horrible work. Rude staff. The men, (including Don-older man/manager) are especially rude to female patrons and staff. Several patrons waited patiently on a Sunday afternoon only to be yelled at by Don and/or other staff and treated badly. Many patrons were left with lumpy, half painted nails and chemical residue left around the cuticles, (photo below). Seniors patrons were treated poorly as well, especially if they made a special request, moved slowly due to a disability or had a question. Terrible. I'd give this establishment zero stars if it were possible. read more

5/15/17: so two nails chipped and I made my way back here to have them fixed. I went to the same guy and after looking at my nails, he apologized. After finishing another customer, he immediately started on my nails. This time, he did all the things a nail technician usually does. It's still not the neatest overlay no-chip I've had but I appreciate the customer service. I also got a chance to see a customer's dip nails and they looked pretty good. If in a bind, I may go back and let one of the women do my nails. More like 2.5 stars. read more

Terrible, picky service. They do not service based on who gets there first. I called Saturday morning a few minutes after opening asking if they could remove acrylic nails for me and asked how busy they were. The gentleman on the phone said they would soak my nails for me and to walk in. I get there, there is only one person ahead of me for a pedicure. A lady doing someone's eyebrows asks what I needed and I told her. THEN someone walks in after me for a full set and she takes that person ahead of me. I waited a few minutes and someone else came in and was taken ahead of me. I complained about it and was told to put my name on a wait list (there are NO people waiting in the shop besides me). I sit and wait some more, another person comes in after me and waits for a mani/pedi. Then someone comes in after her and gets serviced before both of us. I told the man AGAIN I wanted my nails soaked off and that I came in before people who are already getting serviced. He comes over to me, says its $10, and then grabs a clipper to cut my nails and I asked him to guarantee that he would not pop them off but would soak them so they don't get damaged. He walks away from me, the girl that came in after me complains that people are getting serviced before both of us, and he goes to sit down to do someone else's nails (mind you this person came in after me and the person who came in immediately after me). Then, he tells the girl who came in after me to put her name on the "wait list". They pick and choose who they want to service. Don't waste your time or money! I ended up walking out and going next door to the beauty supply to buy some acetone remover to do them myself. I preferred to have them removed in the salon to minimize on the damage to my natural nails before getting another full set. read more

The staff were rude as heck. They opened late and didn't speak to anyone even when servicing. They talked about a customer who left commenting about her weight. They yelled at customers and acted as if they were superior to African Americans. I would definitely not return and don't thinks it a good place for people to spend their hard earned money read more

I went to this shop late one evening and they accommodated me with a pedicure and dip powder. The fill in lasted for three weeks with no issues. My second visit was on a Sunday and I received the same service pedicure/dip powder. By day three the dip powder began chipping off! By day six, five of my nails were in need of repair. I had gone of town on day four, returning Saturday (day six). I go by and explain what had occurred. I was told to speak with the young man who provided the service. He stated I was to hard on my nails, it was my fault they broke and I should have come back sooner. I explained to him I was out of town and he stated how does he know that? I asked would they be redoing my nails and he stated yes, if I paid for them to be redone, which I was not going to do. Needless to say I will not be returning and for what it's worth plan on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. read more

The first time I came here I was so happy to see that the place was very clean and glamorous! They use bowl protectors for the pedicure bowls (I won't go anywhere that doesn't) and they have a really good selection of colors. Came here and got what was supposed to be no chip chrome nails, the next day it started chipping really bad. I couldn't go back until the weekend because of my busy schedule, as you can see on one nail the paint has come off completely. I didn't expect A-1 service since they were new to the neighborhood but that's what I got. I was out within an hour for a gel fill in (including drying time). Arrived late (around 5:30) and got seen immediately. My male nail tech was thorough and attentive. I was heading home at 6:30. I figured I'd run into some young nail techs who were right out of school with little or no experience and not able to understand English. I came here a couple of weeks ago because I wanted to try out the new nail salon in the neighborhood. When I arrived, it was about a hour before closing and it was extremely packed. Emphasis on the extremely part. I wanted to leave but my little sister was anticipating getting her eyebrows did. There was no room in the seating area and we basicially had to stand against the door waiting for a simple eyebrow wax. There was only one lady doing eyebrows even though it was clearly a lot of women waiting for eyebrow services. 30 minutes later. We're still waiting and standing against the door with 5 other people and another woman begins doing eyebrows. She's doing a horrible job so I request for the other lady to do my sisters eyebrows to which she responds " we all do the same work". It was obviously a lie. The lady who did a good job proceeded to move slower and slower so she wouldn't have to do as many clients so my sister ends up in the second lady's chair. When she gets out the chair, she has two caterpillars drawn on her face for the price of 8 dollars. Needless to say, I will never be coming back here again to waste an hour and some change for thick misshaped eyebrows. read more

Service was speedy and appeared clean, I went in on Friday afternoon for a pedicure and ombre pink and white nails, my wedding was Sunday evening and the polish on my toes STARTED TO CHIP, TWO DAYS LATER.. I had on open toed shoes for the wedding and leading up to the wedding so that they wouldn't get damaged, smudged or chipped before my big day. Seems either it was a super rushed job and the young lady didn't seal them or they used very poor quality products. PSA: IF YOU LIKE GREAT SERVICE DON'T GO HERE! I've had bad experiences here before in regard to the work performed, but went here last minute the day before the 4th just for a pedi and fill-in. I had my cousin with me from out of town, and we waited an hour. I asked the owner how much longer would I have to wait for a pedi and informed him I had been there for an hour, and he never gave an answer. My cousin was able to get her nails done, but also spoke up about how long I had been waiting, and the owner was very rude to her, stated they were going according to the sign in book, which they weren't so when we told him no one looked at the book he said "yeah yeah yeah" by that point I was completely over it. You shouldn't disrespect or be rude to paying customers, mind you we weren't being rude to him (I've been here on occasions and have seen the owner get cussed out because of his bad attitude). Very unprofessional. They had people waiting in the pedi area, who still hadn't gotten their pedis done. Also people came in and they told them they didn't know how long the wait was. My cousin talked me into getting my nails done, because I had two broken nails, and her tech said he would also do my nails to prevent waiting longer. He was very sweet, but I was upset when he came back with my receipt, he made a mistake and charged my card $65 when the service was actually $35. So now I have to wait 2 days for a refund back to my debit card. I will never go back to this place... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. read more

The two in this picture did not want to do my nails even though they are the ones that usually do ! The one hiding in the pink has turned me down twice ever since I told her boss (Ben the one at the computer) that she messed up my nails. This can't be a business with attitudes like that. How are you mad because you had to fix my nails that YOU messed up . They have no organization in here, no integrity & are down right arrogant. I will also be contacting the BBB about this establishment. Just because the place is new doesn't mean they have great or even ok customer service. Now at 3:39 a couple minutes later, Ben is happily helping another customer. Then my friend comes in minutes later & little miss peek a boo over there decided to get up to help her ?
