    Had a dope time here with the family. First time bowling here. Customer service was great and good came out very quick. I LOVE how clean the place was. Many fun options besides bowling. Pool, arcade and the bar is always fun.

    Same day reserved an early bowling lane (5:15pm) on a Friday night for two. Great date night spot! Parked in the attached parking garbage. Check-in was smooth and, to my pleasant surprise, we were led to the practive room lanes in the back. We had a sweet server who brought over water with paper straws (hot take, I'm a fan of no straw & paper straws) and returned shortly to take our food orders. We shared a "The Strike" which is essentially waffle fries loaded with pulled pork, cheese, and jalapenos. Hearty and delish. We didn't have small plates to eat with but silverware and cloth napkins were perfect to keep our nasty bowling-ball-touchin' hands out of our food. We ended our 1 hr reservation to finish our 4th game ( which happen to be the best score I've ever bowled!!!). So maybe I'm a little biased writing this.. but 5 stars for sure! (;

    I loved casually bowling there without being worried I was embarrassing myself. We ordered nachos and they were pretty standard - in hindsight, it's a little hard to eat with clean hands when you're bowling. Our lane shut down in the middle of our session, but they restored it quickly. They gave us an extra 15 min in our session due to the interruption which was a nice gesture. I recommend coming here with a group of friends to hang out. I think they have happy hours Mon-Thurs! -AT

    Amazing place and delicious drinks. Music is on point and service, bowling and ambiance just makes it much more enjoyable experience. Must visit.

    I had never been to a Kings Dining & Entertainment, and I can honestly say I cannot wait to go back! A friend of mine wanted to go bowling for her birthday, and I originally chose Kings Dining & Entertainment because it was equidistant between all the guests who would be in attendance. But if anyone ever wants to go bowling again, I'm taking everyone to Kings. I do not know why I offered to plan my friend's birthday. I was traveling so much for work, I was barely home long enough to pack, let alone plan an entire party. So I cannot sing Mari Scott's praises enough for putting together a food & beverage package for me, and reserving our bowling lane. I felt so worried about not being able to secure a lane on a busy Saturday, but Mari took care of everything. Reception greeted us warmly and escorted us to our reserved lane when we arrived; we were greeted by the manager who made us feel so warm and welcome; and our server was incredibly attentive and so considerate. We ended up staying for a few hours after our lane time to play some air hockey and other arcade games. I am definitely going back, especially to get another round of those crispy brussels sprouts - they were delicious. Cannot thank Mari Scott enough!

    Fun and welcoming atmosphere at Kings Dining and Entertainment in Chicago. Came for a private birthday party event. We were in a side room area with four bowling lanes. A pretty light crowd in the main area for a Saturday night. The event had pizza, teriyaki chicken, and a few other small appetizers. I thought they were done well Knocking a star off because two of our four bowling lines were out of commission for 30-40 minutes, as the machine dispensing the balls broke. The party event was supposed to be for two hours of bowling and we lost some of that. I was surprised they did not offer extra time to the party to make up for it. Was not me hosting the party, so not an issue as we were all socializing. But if I paid for the room, would have asked for a credit.

    Any age is able to bowl . After 9pm no kids allowed

    What make are the pool tables?

    Evan, Our pool tables are Presidential Billiards.

    Has anyone purchased their bday cake? I'm debating ordering from King's or bringing one in from elsewhere.

    It all depends on what you are looking for, our cakes are very good, they are the vanilla or chocolate cake with choice of same flavor frostings and a birthday message on them.…

    We do not have the Pac-12 Network, we do provide any games that are showing on Direct TV that are not on any package though and can have multiple games on.

    Is it kid friendly?

    In the bowling area, there was a bday party with first graders on one side of us and preteen boys on the other side.

    Do they have darts here?

    Unfortunately they don't. But they have Bowling, Billiards & Shuffleboard, Foosball & 2 or 4-Player Air Hockey

I always like to try a new wing place and I was sold after reading Teddy B's review. This restaurant is set in a really nice, cozy feeling neighborhood. We chose an outdoor table which was perfectly shaded and comfortable. I'm hot or cold when it comes to smoked wings, as I prefer fried, but these were smoked perfectly for my picky tastes. The buffalo sauce was thick, flavorful and a spot on medium. My fries were extra crispy and didn't need salt. The bf had the nacho platter which he devoured. It was a beautiful afternoon after the previous day of clouds and rain, so the streets and restaurant were hopping. I feel we experienced good service for how busy the place was and we didn't have to wait very long for our food. There was never an empty table the entire time we were there and everyone from the bartenders, waitstaff and runners seemed to keep up and communicated well with diners. Thanks for an enjoyable part of our night.

My girlfriend and I were really bummed that I had driven all the way from Milwaukee to see a show only for it to be canceled 10 minutes before show time. We were getting even more irritated trying to find a place, in the west loop area, that was unique, fun, with good food at a decent price. After about 20 minutes we FINALLY settled on The VIG. My attitude changed immediately walking in and seeing the cool layout and theme while Magic Stick (50 Cent & Lil' Kim) played at a decent volume then switched to Sublime. I love an eclectic music playlist. Huge, solid, bare-wood support beams decorated with really cool led lamps that looked like they were out of a prohibition era speakeasy. The lighting was not too bright to be annoying, but not too dark where it ya can't read your menu (like so many places are nowadays)! The at on the walls was from the golden-era and really tactful pictures of pinup girls and guys. Tv's were everywhere for people to watch the Cubs beat the Nationals, and the seating was not too crammed. It was very comfortable! The staff was on top of things and very friendly and knowledgeable! Excellent descriptions and understanding of the food and drinks they serve! Good sense of humor as well which made ordering fun! The food came out promptly and well plated! The pictures are of the elote street corn deviled eggs and the Italian beef bao buns. Both were AMAZING! Well thought out dishes that perfectly mixed cultures and textures while still preserving enough individual culture of each part of the dish! That got us extremely excited to try more! The old fashioned was really good, even to my biased Wisconsin standards, and the rosé slushy was fantastic! For entrees, I got the ribeye. I will say that it is only around an inch (or less) thick, so keep that in mind if, like me, you like a medium rare to medium done steak. The char was perfect, their compound butter really was unique and added to the flavor, and the steak was still juicy enough to enjoy even though it was medium well to well done. It was still delicious and went VERY well with the potatoes it came with! The fingerling potatoes were perfectly cooked and had a light drizzle of sauce with some spiced corn kernels sprinkled around them. Truly a dish to remember, even if a tad overcooked. I did let our waitress know when she came around to ask how it was. I reassured her, when she offered to make it right, that it was still ok and that I planned on eating the whole thing so no need to do anything but give feedback to the kitchen. I know it's difficult to control the cook on a thin piece of meat like that. If you generally like medium well to well done steaks, it would have rolled your eyes back in bliss like it did to mine. My girlfriend got the The VIG burger and the Gnocchi Alla Vodka with a side of fresh cut fries. The thick and juicy burger patty itself was a little hard to taste with the cheese, sauce, and tomato. I prefer the beef patty to be the star of the show, and it just got a little lost in all of the other flavors. The texture of the patty was great, though! I could immediately tell that they don't over-mix their patty beef because it held together just enough to bite but then crumbled away nicely which made chewing easy! Next time I will ask for the sauce on the side since it was still good. The fries were fantastic. Not too crispy, not too soft...skins on and the same size as fast-food style fries. The Gnocchi was SPECTACULAR! Cooked to perfection! The sauce was well put together and plentiful, yet not overpowering! Dessert was the tiramisu which was very good! I am VERY excited hearing that a Milwaukee location is opening soon! I can't wait to try more! I'll be recommending this place to my foodie friends! Thanks, to the staff for making our night better with food, light conversation and good atmosphere!

Food was a mix: Chimichurri cauliflower: smaller portion than I expected, nothing special I'd skip this dish. Ceasar salad: dressing is very heavy on the anchovy paste, otherwise good portion and veggies. Loaded fries: huge portion with lots of great toppings, though I wish their fries were more 'fry' like versus potato skin-like. Chicken tenders: I got this with sweet potato fries, and they were way too salty. The chicken tenders were 4 skimpy pieces of chicken, and I was charged for extra dipping sauces and ketchup. The spicy mango habanero and buffalo are good - skip the garlic parmesan. I will most definitely be back for the vibes, drinks, and service. I'm hoping the food is just working on some kinks and will get better the next time!

I usually don't drink on the weekdays, so I ended up just getting an iced tea and him a tequila soda, but because I don't drink, we decided to get an appetizer and we browsed the menu for a minute and ended up splitting the Parmesan chicken egg rolls. Truthfully, I really just wanted to see what that would entail because it seemed a little disgusting or maybe even some kind of high-food, but to my surprise, it was actually a really crispy skinned pizza roll. I'm pretty sure it had been previously frozen, but in that moment- served with a side of marinara, I didn't really care. It was full of gooey melted mozzarella cheese and almost like a breaded chicken nugget center. Pretty decent as far as bar food goes. They also had crab rangoon to which I thought, "hmm are they doing a little too much?!" I'm sure drunk me would have gotten them years ago so what can ya do. Overall, quite a positive experience. The bartender was really sweet and everything wasn't super expensive.
