Kings County Auto is, honestly, as good as it gets. When my husband and I first moved to Brooklyn, our car got hit on Flatbush Ave in a hit-and-run accident that left it immobile. If you live in Brooklyn, you know that you can't leave your car parked on any side of the street for more than a day or so. We finally got AAA to tow it, and after finding the number online and talking to the shop on the phone, we got it towed to Kings County without knowing much about the shop itself. I am so thankful we chose this place. Our car, a 2009 Ford Escape, ended up having $3,800 in damages. Once our insurance gave their estimate for the repairs, Kings County started, and the car was finished within a week. Anthony stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process, and was so kind and accommodating. We were moving out of the city at the time the car was finished (we only stayed in Brooklyn to finish a lease for 2 months), and were working full time in White Plains, so finding a good time to pick-up the car was very difficult for us. Anthony kept the car at the shop for us, with no complaints or unfriendly attitude whatsoever, for three weeks. They even cleaned it inside and out for us. The owner of Kings County Auto found some very upset, out of town, older ladies on Bedford Ave in the very early morning. We were on vacation, and our car had been hit during the night. It was not drivable. We were really clueless as to how to proceed after calling police and insurance company. This man literally saved our day and vacation. He directed us to the shop, dealt with a very disgruntled tow truck operator (he was annoyed that we were not going to his shop), and had us in a rental car and on our way out of town before 8:30!!! The service people at the shop were friendly and helpful. Anthony, the manager, was so helpful, he charged our phone while we filled out paper work and even gave us a charger for the road. I have never met kinder or more helpful service people. They kept me updated, did a fantastic job on the car and then had a lovely young man return my car to me in Kimberton, PA. Exceptional. I had driven my Chevy Tahoe in from out of town, got rear-ended, and needed to know that I would be put back on the road by someone I could trust. Boom! King's County Auto Body is just about the best service I've gotten ANYWHERE FOR ANYTHING. The shop is clean, easy to access, plenty of parking, and not spilling over into a busy street like a lot of NYC body shops. Anthony Cona was an absolute gentleman and professional from the get-go, in person, over the phone, and every time I needed to discuss anything with him - no question too big, no question too stupid. He made it clear to me that my Chevy Tahoe would be mine again even though the insurance company had it totaled. He parted out the truck surgically: new, after-market, and used - to bring the final price in at way under the insurance estimate. Color matching, custom frame work and body detailing (of course)... and when my truck was returned to me it looked like new, inside and out. Sparkling. Best Customer Service! I gave in my car the day before Thanksgiving to have the windshield replaced. I was told it will be done same day. Around 6pm I realized that no one has contacted me yet, so I called their office and there was no answer. I ran over and found the place already closed. I figured I'll get the car in the am and will survive one night without it. The next morning the place was obviously closed due to the Holiday. I left in frustration and wrote them an email explaining my situation. Within 20 minutes the owner calls me up all apologetic for the inconveniences. To my surprise, he offered to come down on Thanksgiving, open his shop to return my vehicle to me. Guess what, a couple of hours later I had my car back, along with a few souvenirs & a little discount. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. This is about my 3rd time using this business. Best body shop hands down. Anthony and the staff are very friendly. The owners remember me and a very friendly. The prices are great. I've recommended coworkers and they have been very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of kings county auto body. If you need any kind of body work and paint this is the place. They also do custom paint and utilize modern technology to mix the paint to factory specs. State of the art paint booth as well. This auto shop is SPECTACULAR! They are courteous, respectful and very, very professional. Anthony and his staff as well as the Owner were FANTASTIC! I am extremely very happy and satisfied. I needed a paint job on my car and Anthony accessed it and told me I didn't need to paint the entire car.. He said that he would paint on the specific areas that needed it and when I saw it, it was BEAUTIFUL. They waxed the entire care and even detailed the inside of the car. They immediately ordered the part and even let me store the car in their garage on Thanksgiving to keep the vehicle off the street before the Friday repair.
