Adrianne set us up with an all-inclusive vacation to Tulum, on the Yucatan peninsula, at a very fancy but reasonably priced resort. She also urged me to get the travel insurance ($140 from Allianz) and that ultimately ended up saving me $2,000. One star rating on this particular day. Oh yah, I remember this day…read more Here we go... My car went Ka-flooey on the freeway and I needed to rent a car pronto. My auto dealership no longer provides rental cars due to some taking advantage of that service by trashing and total'ing the cars. Gee, thanks Hyundai customers. So here we are getting back to the car rental place they referred. Ok, getting a car and picking it up was a breeze. It helps to have all your info in order and an established relationship with this shop. Or so I thought. Ok, so since my car issues were covered by warranty so was my car rental fees. Love Hyundai's warranty. So that means I had to return the rental car since the dealership got my car fixed right away. So I'm on the freeway about 15minutes away from their shop and I know I'm cutting it close so I decide to call them to give them a heads up. The guy who answered was like, "Well we close at 5." Me: "I know this, that's why I'm calling. I drove over an hour to get here and I'm getting off the exit right now and I'm basically right around the corner." You know what he asks me? This guy says, "Ok well can you pull over and read me the card info?" Me all dumbfounded and shocked. "Well if you want me to pull over and do all that, you might as well wait me for so it would be easier to just swipe my card." Duh, right? He acquiesced. So since the auto dealership is going to pay for everything, I'm going to get a credit. I have to cover the taxes and some fees, but the dealership will cover the daily rental fee. This guy, not the manager, seemed all pushed out of shape. On a Tuesday? Really? I got my credit, but I was not happy on the inital suggesstion that I pull over off the freeway to give him my card info over the phone. Not concerned at all for my safety, all about money, money, and let's speed this up so I can end my shift type of vibe. I think this guy's customer service skills needs a refreshing and ya'll need to do better for a paying customer with excellent pay history. I'm just saying. See you some more on Yelp 2026, but at this place...I don't know, I just don't know. Time to share....Go.

The lobby has a computer that you can do work on if you need to, and they also have drinks and snacks available. The room itself was small, , but it was still clean and comfortable. The TV was a smaller screen, but it still got a good picture and lots of channels. There was a desk to work at or eat at, there was also a microwave and a fridge. The bathroom was also spotless. The Wi-Fi was good, fast enough to stream video, and the bed was very comfortable. There was no phone in the room, so if I needed something, I either had to call them on my own phone or go down to the lobby. It's just a little bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast in the morning was just OK. They had a waffle machine, hot and cold cereal, juice, coffee, eggs, and sausage. The eggs were like these little premade "egg discs" that you were just heat up, they were OK but nothing spectacular. The sausage patties tasted OK, but they were just warm. Also, they had biscuits, but no gravy. Biscuits without gravy? That's downright un-American! :) :). Overall, even with the just OK breakfast, I still had a very good night. The price was reasonable and I would stay here again. Thank you.
