This is a multi-layer review, folks! Stick with me! I worked with Kingdom & Ryan, the owner, made this more than right! Ryan cares & wants clients to walk away happy! Ryan turned this around!! I went to Kingdom to have the flower touched up, and he also re-lined my 25 yr old butterfly since he was set up. Flower & Butterfly took less than 30 mins & I TOTALLY WALKED AWAY HAPPY!!!! Thank you, Ryan! You made this experience amazing! I & my son will be back soon!!!! Morgan is no longer at this studio. I learned a lesson! Don't judge an entire studio on 1 clown!

My tattoo about 2 hours after it was done. I am very pleased!

I got my first tattoo done by Morgan. He was very nice, very helpful and helped me stay within my budget. It was simple and quick. I explained what I wanted, I got that and was out in 45 minutes. Since this was my first tattoo I was very worried but I could tell I was working with a professional and I will return!

I had the pleasure of getting my tattoo done by Kurt. I had to schedule a session with him a few months out due to his availability. But the wait was well worth it! I am very satisfied with how my tattoo turned out. I explained to him what I wanted with a few pictures and he was able to create this work of art with great attention to detail. If you're in the market for a tattoo I definitely recommend coming to Kingdom Tattoo. They run a clean and professional facility. You will not be disappointed!

    My first tattoo by Ben

I got my first tattoo by Ben! He's amazing and I seriously love it so much For my first tattoo is he was really great and reassuring; I can't wait to go back again!

My Star of Life by David. 2 hours of back of the calf agony.

I got a tattoo from David a couple years ago, when he was at a shop in Gainesville. I walked in yesterday to see if he had time (he usually has to book a couple weeks in advance) and he worked me in to create my celebratory tattoo for finishing Paramedic school. I walked in with an idea (the Star of Life with "something cool, maybe some geometry") and he came up with an incredible design. He charges a fair rate ($150/hour for custom work is not bad) and does fantastic work. I had the back of my right calf done, which is pretty rough, and he had just the right balance of work and break time so I could rest. The lines are straight, the dots are precise, and the shading is perfect. The shop was *spotless* clean. Lots of awesome flash on the walls by all of the artists. Highly recommend.

I want to start off to say when I first went into the shop I was greeted with a warm welcome. The tattoo artist was very upbeat and knowledgeable. I paid my deposit and sat up my day to come back. When I went back for my tattoo, my artist name was Austin. He was a pleasure to talk to. He did a wonderful job on my tattoo. I will be going back. Best place to get your tattoos done here. I have included my tattoo picture in this review. #kingdomtattooatl #austinarcher

If you live in the Decatur area this tattoo shop is amazing. Especially my artist Levi! He does great thin line work- exactly what I was looking for for my simple tattoo! It was my first tattoo and Levi was really attentive and made sure the placement and size was exactly what I wanted. I'll definitely be coming back to get more tattoos done by him!

    Levi's work on 1/5/19

Levi was my tattoo artist and he did not disappoint. I came as a walk in on Saturday night around 6:30 and he was able to get me in by 7. I'm very happy with the tattoo. I would recommend him and will be coming back to him for sure!

I popped in one day hoping to schedule something soon and they had a spot open with the artist I was hoping for (Austin) the next evening. My friend and I both came in for our appointments around the same time and I was pleasantly surprised that Austin had sketched up exactly what I wanted! Zero alterations other than size! It was my first tattoo so I was a bit nervous but the shop was awesome and the artists were super friendly so I felt very comfortable once I was laying down to get inked up. Highly recommend this place and Austin Archer, super cool dude. 10/10

The short version is that this a clean comfortable shop with a great staff. The long version is: While we were visiting ATL decided to check out the local tattoo shops on line. I looked at a lot of tattoos and that's when I saw Kingdom Tattoo. The owner, Ray Weaver, had some amazing artwork, so we decided to stop by and take a look at the shop. This is where we met a wonderful artist named Austin. We arrived and were greeted by Austin who invited us to look around and as we did we found his album of work. We immediately loved his work and decided to talk with him and possibly have some work done. I knew exactly what I wanted, a star wars empire emblem, when I saw that he also had many star wars tattoos I knew he was the right person to do my emblem. My girlfriend knew, somewhat, what she wanted and asked if he could do a trinity with a sunburst. He drew a quick picture and she liked it and decided to have it done We made appointments for the next day. We came in to get our tattoos and Sunni had some concerns so we asked if he could show us exactly what his vision was of the piece. He sat down drew the trinity added a couple of lines and some shading then colored in the background and it was perfect. It seemed that he could see exactly what she was envisioning just by asking a very few questions he was able to draw out and change the pattern as he talked with her until it was just right. Austin was able to see what we wanted done and translate that to our skin with just as much perfection. As we sat for our tattoos he was able to carry on conversation with us and knew exactly what to say and when to say it so that we had a GREAT experience in the chair. We fully intend on returning in the near future to have more work done. We would trust any one of the great artists in that shop to tattoo us. They are all very personable, great artists and they care about the customer and the work they do. So if you happen to be in the area look up Kingdom Tattoos the guys there all do unbelievable work.

David did the flowers on my shoulder. He is fast and very neat with his work. Professional and outgoing personality.

It's been 20+ years since my last tattoo, and I'm ready to schedule more now that I know where to go for the absolute best! He's not cheap, nor should he be. I'll happily pay for quality. Highly recommend for anyone wanting ink in Atlanta or anywhere else. I'd travel in a second for his talent!!

I saw the owner of Memorial, Phil Colvin, for my fine line/color/floral/watercolor tattoo…read more I was assured that Phil (w/ 35 years of experience as a tattoo artist) had the abilities & experience to handle this particular style. I provided Phil with a design in the initial consult and a (slightly edited, but essentially the same), design via email a week before the tattoo date. I also brought the image to the actual tattoo appt. Phil is a very nice guy, and owns a clean and professional establishment. He clearly has many years of experience as an artist. While I receive many compliments on the end result, I felt very frustrated during the process with the following: 1.) He added black outlines to a tattoo with very little black outlining (design had it only around the daisy). I found this out the hard way, as I had my eyes closed at the start to manage pain & was trying hard not to move. I didn't realize he had done it until I asked "What are you working on right now? I'm trying so hard to be still for you, that I'm having to keep my eyes shut." I have read much online about the topic of black outlining, and the responses are a mixed bag. 2.) His colors (the shade of green on the leaves, etc.) often did not match the original 3.) He did not choose-- or was not able-- to include the level of detail that the original design represented 4.) He made some other minor artistic decisions that were different than the original (ie: the shading on the daisy). 5.) A couple (not all) of the watercolor marks on original design did not turn out well, and I had to return 2 weeks later to get them covered up with leaves. I spent another $200 going back to Phil to get the small corrections made. In general, if any tattoo artist feels they cannot or do not want to accurately transfer design --- body (or feels that a specific element will not transfer as well), they should COMMUNICATE that to the customer. Something to the effect of, "I see that the design you provided doesn't have much black outlining. I think that black outlining is important because of ______ reason. Therefore, I am going to recommend that we do_______." Two-way communication is critical to the process of getting something permanently inked onto your body. He also was dismissive of the tattoo artist that I hired independently to do the design (a Germany based woman who does freelance design work, through fiverr.com). He said, "She just probably grabbed these photos of flowers off the internet; she's clearly not a tattoo artist." Which couldn't have been further from the truth!

I immediately thought of coming back for a flash deal if we were ever in town again! Very clean, very sterile, and very friendly -- so why one less star?? Unfortunately both our fine line tattoos have faded by the end of the week. The pressure didn't feel deep enough for either of us and the line work is VERY light.
