Sending example pictures and ideas. I knew the elements I liked and wanted but didn't know how to bring them all together and what would work on my shoulder. He patiently listened to all my ideas and was able to string them together in an original design. I'm super stoked by the final result. If you're looking for a piece of art then take your time and go with someone that specializes in this style. He is devoted to this art form and developing his craft. It's rare to see someone so devoted to something, but he clearly loves the art and process. BEWARE OF THIS SHOP - ZERO STARS IS MORE APPROPRIATE!!!…read more *** Reposting this review after being asked to remove it by the owner who said he would make it right & didnt *** I walked into this shop asking for a dainty fine line flower on my hand.. I should've followed my first instinct and ran, while being tattooed by the artist Bell.. First off his son was running around in the room so he was distracted & in a rush to get to the next client... i told him before i left i didn't like the tattoo, he shaded the petals of the flower so the tattoo was to dark & looked nothing like the pic. He suggested i let it heal & it would lighten up... still doesn't fix the fact is looks nothing like what i wanted... I left the shop, called hoping to speak with the owner and got the same artist who again reiterated that he would not give me a refund and that I had to let the tattoo heal.. Later That day the tattoo started leaking from under the plastic. I texted the artist who told me just to wipe it off, That it was fine. The tattoo leaked all night And I was finally instructed by a doctor to remove the plastic. At which point it did stop leaking but the tattoo is horrible, out of line in areas, shaded when it shouldn't be & is not what i asked for. The next day i called and I asked to speak with the shop manager or the owner, but not until I posted my original review Did anyone contact me. Once Elizabeth reached out she agreed to give me a refund & offered to cover the tattoo once it was healed. The refund I wanted, however I don't want anyone from the shop tattooing me I wanted that specific tattoo and I don't want anything covering it.. When i voiced that to the owner & Elizabeth, I was told the only way I could get the refund is if I allowed them to cover it. I told them that I wasn't following that logic and that I just wanted my money back, i've already made an appointment to have the tattoo removed .. They told me again I couldn't get a refund unless I did the cover-up Which is a bizarre business practice and makes no logical sense. After i vocalize my dissatisfaction with being forced to get another tattoo in order to get my refund they stopped responding. So now I am reposting this review to make everyone aware to not visit this shop to get Ink coming from someone who is covered in Tattoos, The entire experience at the shop has been a nightmare!! Now i'm left with this ugly tattoo or out of pocket more money to have it removed & redone!! Moral of the story - go to big time customs down the street if you want ink !!! Howard, who has been piercing for 30 years, was very professional. He cleaned and sterilized everything and thoroughly explained the process making us feel very comfortable. The process was pretty efficient and the price comparable to other places. It was also nice that the price included the jewelry. All in all, the service was impeccable, parking plentiful, the establishment was clean and I would definitely recommend Howard for piercing.

I went to them for the last friday the 13th and the process was a little confusing and very long (as is expected) but ultimately I got a lovely tattoo at a discounted rate and only had to sit on the floor for a couple of hours. Yesterday I went back to them for another friday the 13th... the positives: - check in was smooth - they upgraded their waiting process so you could leave the shop - flash sheets were nicely organized when you arrived to the shop the negatives: -Flash was not posted at the start of ticket sales -Entirety of flash was not available on their instagram or eventbrite (where they sell tickets for the event) -flash pricing tiers were not communicated clearly online -texting service was NOT utilized to provide any helpful communication all in all this will be my LAST friday the 13th with atlanta ink. We arrived in shop at 8:15 to check in for our 8pm-12am ticket slot. We returned to the shop at 11:45 after hearing nothing to be informed they'd be closing the shop at 12am and that we could come back anytime during the month to receive our tattoos. I respect them allowing their artists to rest, but incredibly frustrating that this was not communicated any sooner. I spoke to someone who checked in at 7:45 and was also not tattooed for the same slot. texted communication about the store closing at midnight was sent out at 12:23. No apology was made either. Beyond upset that a system promised to notify us of our slot 30-45 minutes in advance couldn't be any quicker with reaching out about being oversold on a capped ticketed event. they kept my money so i'll be going to get my tattoo sometime this month but after that, i'll be seeking better businesses to support.
