Weekly reports lacked basic chemical breakdowns and only provided a photo of a meter. ​Weeks of Ignored Algae Blooms: Despite multiple messages alerting them to worsening algae over several weeks, proper testing (like CYA) wasn't done until a company leader flagged it when called me after I notified them I was cancelling. ​Offering free service doesn't fix persistent bad service. I had to hire outside help just to restore my pool. Look past the marketing and check their most recent 1-star reviews before hiring them. The pool smart team gave me practical advice on how to do the repair economically, and was even cool with me shopping for parts online. No upsell or up charge pressure at all! It turned out to be a really complicated replacement, due to a lot of difficult job site conditions that weren't expected at the beginning of the job. The pool smart team completed the repair the same day, and everything is working perfectly. Solid choice. Look no further!

This triggered another $500 bill to install a blower. Verbal reassurance from Johnny the technician and texts/emails from Trinity in customer service that the pump was covered by a two-year warranty from PoolSmart. I requested a copy of the warranty multiple times, Trinity always said she would send it but never did. Almost immediately the pump wasn't functioning correctly, and PoolSmart canceled appointments, then quoted over $1000 for additional repairs. Within a few months, the entire pump blew out, and when I contacted them to honor the warranty, no answer. Crickets. If you want a good pool repair company, contact Purpose Pools, they came in after these jokers and repaired everything right away for a fraction of the price. Avoid PoolSmart at all costs!
