They came out to do a routine service call on a system that they installed 5 years ago. They told me that I needed parts and that my system was no longer under warranty. I was concerned that the system did not send me a notification of the needed repair and I thought my system had a 10 year warranty! It was a very expensive system. Aaron asked me to pay upfront for the part and for two service calls. I did because I trusted them. They didn't come back as promised to make the repair. I called Carrier and was told that I should not have had to pay for the part because it was under warranty and they also noted that they did not get a notification of the failure either as they and I should have. When Aaron finally returned to install the part, he apologized up and down for letting me down. He said that as soon as Carrier reimbursed him for the part he would return my money. He told me a week later that the check had come and he would return the money as soon as it cleared. Well now he doesn't return my texts and his voicemail is always full! It has been several months and I haven't seen my money. I was the first person to review this company when they opened. I believed in them. Now I tell people to find someone else. These guys don't seem to be the honest people that they once were!

Without my AC unit working - I needed a prompt repair (NOT an emergency repair) for tenants renting my condo. I didn't expect a charge of almost $600.00 on a name brand 4 year old unit. I feel I was taken advantage of! They were polite and responsive and got my ac working. However - based on trusted information from another out of town HVAC repair person who was in my condo the week prior to my AC going down, it seems clear to me that I was overcharged and taken advantage of! I was never told payment would need to be made remotely while I was in California. I told the repair guy I would mail a check upon an emailed receipt when I returned home. The problem was a bad capacitor. I was overcharged for the part,... then charged an additional $280.00 to add refrigerant that the technician "questionably" claimed I needed. I have since mailed the a check for full payment, along with their business card that I not need in the future.

I was told I was on the delivery list, but since there were a number of emergencies, my propane delivery was delayed. Everyone I spoke with at the Middletown office was so nice and reassuring that I wouldn't run out of propane, and told me how many days of propane I had left in our 500 gallon tank. He has corrected issues from initial install from a less then qualified company, cleaned and serviced 4 zones and main unit, and recently moved a unit to a better location. Every job Joe has done, has been neat, with all the correct equipment and training from Fujistu (with credentials online from Fujistu). Joe is returning to do a complete install of a unit for a garage. His work speaks volumes along with his explanations to the home owner of the process. Joe is honest, excellently priced for his knowledge (you get what you pay for with HVAC), and is a true tradesman.

The problem Jake and his team eventually found was complicated, related to air flow within our home and the performance of the dampers. It took substantial time and effort to diagnose, after which GC replaced the dampers and performed a few other tasks to ensure the system ran properly. Through it all, Jake was responsive, polite, informative, and thorough. The problem was resolved and I was billed fairly for the repairs, not for the many service calls he provided. Again, this was stellar customer service, performed diligently through what I'm sure was a very busy time for their business. I am sure they had many other calls that day--units 'always' break at inopportune times... However, within 20 minutes they responded to a voice mail and had a senior technician (Mike) to the house within the next 30 minutes--less than an hour from our initial call. He did a thorough analysis of the issue, clearly described his findings and let us know next steps. Back at the office they worked up various options, called us early the next day, clearly explaining everything, including cost and timing. A day later parts arrived and Mike was at our house first thing in the morning, at the scheduled time. While he was completing the exterior installation, he noticed an interior valve that wasn't working correctly, ordered that and set up the final check. These are really good people. They communicate clearly. They complete the work efficiently, expertly and in a timely fashion. If you need HVAC work and want trustworthy contractors--call them!
