A good quality car wash, just what my vehicle needed. Inside and out, it is dirt free thanks to these guys.

Cypress Pride Car Wash - Very well done

Cypress Pride Car Wash

I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Cypress Pride Car Wash…read more I paid $50 for detailing and an additional $40 specifically for vomit cleaning, expecting a thorough and complete service. That expectation was not met. After pickup, there was still visible vomit residue left in multiple areas of my vehicle, including the sun visor area. When I returned to address the issue, I was met with a defensive response from Gabby, who stated that sun visors are not included in their cleaning process and claimed she had informed my husband of this beforehand. That is not accurate based on his interaction. He explained the situation at the entrance, was handed a ticket, and directed inside to pay--without any disclaimer or explanation that parts of the affected area would be excluded from cleaning. If there are exclusions to a paid service--especially a $40 specialized cleaning fee--they must be clearly disclosed before payment is taken. There is nothing on your website or service description that states sun visors or any interior surfaces affected would be excluded from vomit cleaning. More concerning is that the service itself was not performed thoroughly even beyond the visor. The presence of remaining residue shows a lack of attention to detail and raises serious concerns about the consistency of the work being done. I had to take time off work to return and physically point out what should have already been properly addressed. At this point, I am requesting that a manager contact me directly to resolve this matter. I expect either a proper re-cleaning of the vehicle or a discussion of appropriate compensation, as the service paid for was not delivered as advertised or expected. I hope management treats this seriously and responds promptly.

My biggest complaint is that this place is BUSY. I drive a pretty large truck, and the way the entrance and car wash line are laid out can make it difficult to get lined up properly. There just isn't quite enough room to make the turn comfortably. Every once in a while, an eager beaver behind me pulls up too close, and then I can't back up a little to straighten the truck out. A little more space in that area would make a big difference, especially for larger vehicles. Price-wise, I think the membership makes sense if you wash your vehicle more than once a month. It's only a little more than paying for an individual wash, and then you can come back as often as you want. For me, that makes the value pretty reasonable. The wash itself is fine. Nothing extraordinary, but it gets the job done. It's convenient, consistently busy, and the membership makes sense if you use it regularly. Not perfect, but good enough--and apparently I'm not the only one who thinks so because there always seems to be a line.

I went by and they show I didn't even have an account. I've called and emailed and called with no response at all. I'm reporting this business to the BBB next if I don't get a call back. I was just refunded for several months of charges and will continue to be refunded for services not rendered.

Buc-ee's just outside Spring, Texas (over in Waller/Cypress off US-290) is cool. Calling it a gas…read morestation is an understatement. It's is a giant travel center with 100 gas pumps and a store that easily rivals the size of a Target. The selection is overwhelming in the best way possible. They have everything from rows of candy, jerky, and fresh-roasted nuts to warm brisket sandwiches, fresh fudge, and endless other treats. They have clothes and sporting equipment and tots and other stuff too. Pretty sure only about 1% of the total food offerings could be considered healthy, but they sure are good! Between the hot food counters, novelty snacks, and merchandise, it is nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. We ended up buying several hundred dollars of pure joy on this trip. They did kick out tiny dog out who was in a backpack but I goes those are the hygiene rules. No star deduction. If you are driving through Texas and need fuel, snacks, or just a unique road trip experience, stopping at Buc-ee's is mandatory.

Oh man, I thought I'd live in Buc-ee's when I bought my home in Cypress many years ago. I just…read moredidn't realize this location wouldn't give me even 25% of the feels of the large stores. I mean...even the brisket sammiches taste different here. This is one of their smaller locations, so it feels a bit different from the bigger stores most people are used to. Basically, this is a gas station with a lil something something extra. The brisket sandwich wasn't as good as the big stores. It just didn't have the same flavor or quality I've come to expect. They've changed the ordering process over the years. Idk exactly when since Ive been mostly living in FL for work but before you'd order at a kiosk and get a ticket, but now there's at least a register at the counter, which makes things a bit more straightforward. Outside of the food, it still functions mostly like a typical gas station stop. Gas prices are generally better here, and the fountain drinks and ICEEs are still cheap. On my last visit a couple weeks ago, they didn't have the cinnamon rolls with nuts and staff mentioned they weren't sure when certain bakery items would be back. That was a bit disappointing since those are usually part of the appeal. Overall, it's still a convenient stop, but just know this location doesn't hit the same as the larger Buc-ee's stores. Manage your expectations but it stays crowded and you can still get some of the most popular Buc-ee's items.
