My mom wasn't having the best day and Napoleon Cake (Mille Feuille) is her favorite dessert and this was the only place on Uber eats that sold it. The Napoleon was a solid 10/10 truly perfect - the layers were still flakey and crispy and the cream was light. I only ordered two slices because it's rare for me to find a place that makes it so well, but I wish I would have ordered the full cake. I also ordered the honey cake and it actually tastes like honey! Also a 10/10! The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I ordered a creme brûlée and unfortunately the top crust which is my favorite part of it was more than 1/2 burnt. Definitely unintentional for them to sell it that way because it was more brown then obvious black and so it tasted more burnt then it actually looked! Honest mistake I'm sure! Will order once more and update my review because honestly their desserts were worth reordering! read more

We heard this place was worth a visit so tried kolaches here instead of the usual kolache factory. For a start the dough isn't the traditional kolache dough. Think more Middle East style. I had spinach and feta cheese and highly recommend it. I also had a cream cheese which was heavily filled. My wife had chicken. She's fussy and said it was dry. I disagree. The flavor was delicate, way above standards of the average filling. The killer though was the coffee. I ordered a latte, and not only was the texture smooth it was also served HOT. This is my first yelp review. I felt the strong need to refer this place. Kingdom Bakery is a hidden gem in Katy. The sandwiches and crepes are no only delicious, but they are so reasonably priced. Definitely superior to mainstream places in La Centerra. Desserts and kolaches were also delicious and reasonably priced. My friends and I went down one day and decided to try a variety of them. Every single one of them was extremely unique and tasted wonderful. Service is amazing here. They are quick to make all there sandwiches are crepes. Moreover, my sister got a personalized birthday cake from here and she was more than pleased with the experience. The cake she got was also delicious! Having explored many different restaurants in Katy, I can say with confidence that there is no other place as good for the price as Kingdom Bakery. I ordered a cake from Kingdom Bakery for my sister's baby shower in March 2020. We sampled cakes from different bakeries and the honey cake and the honey caramel cake were delicious. I had shown a picture of how I wanted the cake to be decorated. Throughout the process, David, the owner was very communicative, very transparent about pricing, etc. The cake was delivered on time, the decorations were great and more than anything, the honey caramel cake was the star! This place is wonderful! Their customer service is amazing and their food is superb! They have you try samples, which is nice because you'll know what you're getting when you buy something. The first time we went there, I was dining in and the lady brought a sample of what looked like just plain bread (kada) but oh my it took me back because it tastes just like a semita (or concha) it was so good I bought 2 to take home. My husband went here to check them out... the lady was super helpful and friendly, she had him try lots of different pastries. He ended up leaving with a couple of kolaches, creme brûlée... which they caramelized in front of them... and a strawberry pastry, which was really good! We will definitely be going back! Disappointed. I saw on yelp how cute and close this cafe was so I decided to check it out. I had some work to get done so I figured it would be somewhat quieter. The worker was talking to her friends really loudly about their high school drama. They were cussing and being very unprofessional. I was clearly irritated but tried to ignore them in hopes they'd realize they were being inappropriate and stop. They never did. I got up and left without them saying anything to me. Great kolaches. Tried 3 different sweet kolaches and one savory. All were wonderful. The sweet kolaches were a really big and so beautiful that it's almost a shame to eat them. Being of Czech decent, I was happy that this wasn't another pig in the blanket (sausage roll) (klobasnik) bakery saying they had kolaches. These are the real deal and they are delicious.
