I'm a retired software engineer, not a tradesman in any sense of the word. I decided to do the job myself. The water heater from Lowe's and all the necessary fittings, hoses etc cost me $900. I installed the water heater myself in under 2 hours. All of the fittings are twist on. Their quote of $3000 included over $2000 of labor. That's an hourly rate of $1000 per hour! I don't know about you but I can't afford to waste money by paying a plumber that much per hour. That's a yearly rate of over 2 million dollars! They claim to be reasonably priced and affordable. In what world is $1000 per hour reasonable or affordable? A reasonable price would be $1100 - $1200. I disposed of the old water heater, for free, at Radius Recycling in Lithonia.

He's installed 3 of my toilets, a water heater, and the line from the meter to our house. Everything he's worked on is 100% as good as the day he did the job. Daniel is super honest, he's never tried to sell us on work we don't need or cut any corners, and he always takes the time to do the job right. One thing that stands out about them is that they're flexible and have always worked with our specific situations and give us options to choose from so that we're actually happy with the end result. Their service range is also exceptional. If you're in the Atlanta area looking for a plumber, All In Plumbing is the only call you need to make.

He talked to me calmly for a long time to walk through what might be the issue, then walked me through turning off a valve to stop water leaking on my floor. He then insisted I call him back in an hour just so we could make sure the issue was what he thought and that everything was okay- even though they wouldn't be able to come out. How great is that? Turns out, I have a broken dishwasher, not a plumbing issue. Thank you, Mighty Plumbing, for taking time you didn't need to take to help out in a difficult time-- I'm so grateful.

Seeking an appointment, I…read moreleft a detailed email describing the tasks I needed done, including identifying the particular fixture involved and the part number of the needed part, and after three full days the email has not been acknowledged, much less responded to. Maybe they would respond to a general contractor looking for someone to plumb a house, but the only interpretation I can put on this insulting lack of any response whatsoever is that they don't want small jobs. On edit: This business replied to my review above, stating that I must have sent my email to some individual email address, not with the official corporate customer-service address. Implication was that it was my fault they didn't reply. That is not true, but there is more to the story. I used the address on their website, the same one mentioned in their reply. I double-checked this before posting my review, by checking the address used in my Sent box copy of the email. HOWEVER, the business later replied to my email, and in the version of my email that appeared below their message, my email did, in fact, appear as addressed to one member of their staff. This was an email address I have never seen. How my outgoing email can have one addressee and the email received at the business can have a different one, I have no idea unless there was some sort of internal forwarding taking place at the business that day. But for whatever reason, my email did not go to the right in-box. So, if you don't get a timely response from these folks to an email, pick up the phone; your email may have been re-routed to the inbox of someone who was on vacation.

Exceptional Service Every Time!…read more I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bowen Septic! I first started using this company several years ago for one of my rental properties. I was so impressed with their service that I continued using them, and I can honestly say I have NEVER been disappointed! In February 2026, I was going through the process of obtaining my State of Georgia license for an Adult Day Health (ADH) facility. Anyone who has gone through state licensing knows how stressful and demanding that process can be. Just when I thought I was nearing the finish line, I discovered that the property was on a septic system, which created complications beyond anything I could have imagined. Once again, Bowen Septic came to the rescue! David, Isaac and Austin worked tirelessly and diligently to help resolve the issues and get everything completed. Their dedication, expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction were absolutely remarkable. Because of their hard work, the final piece of my licensing puzzle fell into place, and I received my state license just 30 days later! I truly believe that would not have been possible without Bowen Septic. Fast-forward to October 27, 2026, when I needed their services yet again. And just as I expected, EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! They continue to deliver the same professionalism, reliability, and outstanding customer care that impressed me years ago. I don't personally know who owns Bowen Septic, but I would absolutely LOVE the opportunity to tell the owner how incredibly impressed I am with the team they have built. From the person who answers the phone, to the technicians working in the field, all the way up to management, every level of this company demonstrates what true customer service should look like! It is rare to find a company that consistently delivers this level of service year after year. Bowen Septic doesn't just provide a service; they build relationships, earn trust, and genuinely make their customers feel valued. David, Isaac, and the entire Bowen Septic team, THANK YOU! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence have made a tremendous difference for me, both personally and professionally. I absolutely LOVE this company and cannot imagine trusting anyone else with my septic needs! If you're looking for a septic company that is knowledgeable, dependable, professional, and truly cares about its customers, look no further than Bowen Septic! Five stars simply aren't enough!
